Scouring the Internet has produced no information about this piece and what it would have originally looked like when first made. This is a large wall clock case made from cast lead. Lead is a soft metal that casts detail very well. And this is no exception. A circular space to center with a back door for the clock. The front diameter is 10" with an inner lip. The surrounds of the case is amazing. A man and woman lay at the top with vine leaves and grapes as the extra decoration. Very fine detail to the figures and flora. The base of the extra decoration is coming loose at the base. It may not last the shipping. Even though we pack well. Lead cannot be soldered so the decoration will ... morehave to have a specialty glue to re-instate. There is also another piece that has come off the clock case that went behind the two figures. Vintage/Antique Wall Clock Copper Center of Dial - Large Pendulum
Nice looking old wall clock- 26" long X 14" wide at the base X 6" deep. Has a larger than usual pendulum- 6" in diameter. The center of the dial seems to be copper which is unusual and very pretty. Has no key- can be found on ebay- the multi purpose kind to fit many clocks. The sides of clock are glass. There is no makers name anywhere that I could see. The clock works show a bit of wear/rust? as shown in picture#4. The case is beautiful- some light wear/scuffs but no serious damage. Screw holding the door on upper right side is loose- needs fixing. This is an EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL SUPERIOR CONDITION example of a Seth Thomas BANJO Wall Clock. It is a very classy banjo clock in need of a warm loving home. It was made circa the 1940s. It has a signed"Seth Thomas Clock Co" movement. It is a very strong runner! Banjo clocks are unique American clocks– originally called“Williard Patent” invented by Simon Willard around 1800! They became“banjo” several years because of their unique shape. The Seth Thomas Clock Company was started in 1820 and has been known for making high quality clocks. The Seth Thomas clock company stayed in business many years and was always in the Thomas family until it was bought by the General Time Corp in the 1930s. The case is also very beautiful. Solid heavy wood, with a beautiful finish! The original throat is birds eye maple and original the bottom table ... moreis Mount Vernon! It is in beautiful/near perfect condition with even the finish. I doubt if the clock has been worked on much as the screws and screw holes for the movement are tight. With no additional screw holes. The dial is all-original and in superior condition. The original glass tablets are perfect! No need to wind this clock. The clock is run by electricity. These electric clocks are the end of horology, as after them came the“throw away” quartz clocks. Believe it or not there were electric clocks in the 1800s. They had simple mechanical movements and were wound by electricity. Then a man came up with the idea. If he could convince all of the electric plants around the country to maintain“60 cycles” in their plants you could have the electric motor actually run the clock. Somehow he pulled it off! If the plant had an unusual high draw of electricity and the cycles went down in the day-they would make up for it in the night– so actually people’s clocks were slowing down and speeding up– but they never knew it. This clock is nothing less than spectacular. I have never seen one like it and it will be the focal point of any room. Many Vienna collectors refer to these RA regulators as"Vienna Style" since the case style is very similar. The front door of the clock has the very desirable"Keyhole" design. The clock is very slender and the size of a mini Vienna. And will fit in a small space. The finish is original and has a nice aged patina. There are some small and minor imperfections in the case as follows: There are three leaves that have small chips on the very tips. Two on the very bottom of case and one on the top crest. There is also a very tiny chip on a petal of one rose, left hand side of the front door) There is a small surface crack in the wood at the bottom of the door. This looks so much like it's part of the design, I almost missed it. These small imperfections are VERY minor and hard to find- all shown in close ups- nothing that detracts from the beauty of the clock. Here we have a GORGEOUS antique waterbury 8 day regulator clock with original sticker on the back. The small glass piece at the bottom is neat reverse painted glass. The clock is not running but I suspect that it could just be because the gong weight part is missing. It has a key but I don't think it's original. It does work(fits) in the two spots on the clock though. It appears to be in decent condition, all the wood is there, a few screws are missing. I do have a couple screws that ill include that we're inside the clock when I bought it. I started playing with it to see if it would run and when I moved the pendulum part back and forth you could see the minute hand move accordingly as if it was 1 second passing. This is a BEAUTIFUL CONDITION example of a German RA Wall Clock in SUPERIOR condition. It is a very rare clock and is signed by the maker. Rare 8 day time and strike movement. German Wall clocks are of the highest quality. It was made in Germany circa 1900. The German clocks in our collection have not yet required any servicing and have kept perfect time for many. Many years. This particular model is in superior, near all original condition. It has a rare 8-day time and strike movement, which strikes once on the half hour and counts the hours on a large gong with a unique sound. The movement is attached to its seat board which comes out for easy adjustment and viewing. You don't need to even take off the dial or hands. The heavy duty movement runs great! The movement runs very well and keeps good time. We have included some pictures of ... morethe movement so you can see its“inner beauty” This clock is large and measures 38 inches high. 15 ½ inches wide and 7 ½ inches deep. The dial is the original perfect PORCELAIN DIAL. Has its original fancy RA pendulum moving back and forth keeping time for you, with its original screw and pendulum holder in which to adjust the clock for slow and fast. Also has its original sides with glass to watch the movement doing its work. The crown is there and could be the original. The finials are also old, some may be original, hard to tell for sure, that would be quite rare indeed. The 3 finials are not in the picture as we goofed and left them at home! They look great on the clock. The clock has a nice quiet way it ticks also. The case is beautiful. The veneer is 99.9% perfect. Original fancy hands. Includes an heavy duty antique key to wind the clock. The back of the clock is original. Up for auction is an antique Seth Thomas banjo clock. The clock has reverse painted glass with a nautical theme. It is in very good condition. Solid and working well. The movement is a Seth Thomas 125. It gongs on the hours and the half hour. The reverse glass is in excellent condition, no flaking, no damage. It is a balance wheel movement and looks to have been cleaned recently. The dark mahogany wood is in very nice condition, just a few scratches on the right side of the bezel, where it opens. It measures approximately 29" tall X 8-3/4" wide. The movement is show with the back cover removed, but it is there. This will be well packed and insured for safe delivery. Antique Edwardian Era Gustav Backer? THREE TUNES Wall Clock Germany, Not Working
This is a nice Three Tunes wall clock Made in Germany Marked on back of instrument P.L. 42 cm. Not sure what kind of clock this is but believe to be vintage at least. The pendulum works and the dials are working but not sure how it keeps the time. The left winder dos not seem to work(it keeps turning) Clock has three chimes: Westm. St. Mich. and Whitt. plus the Silent option. Clock is cased in walnut like dark wood. Measures 30" tall by 13" wide and 7.5" deep. it has several chime bars mounted on the back. Minor damage on two edges and a small scratch on front of door. Nice large Roman numerals on clock's golden face. Comes with a wind up key. It would be a great repair project or for parts. Here is a very attractive older 8 day wooden hanging wall clock which chimes on the hour and half hour. The chime is a double tone. Comes with a key stamped'Swiss Made 300' The clock has no makers name- just a serial number on the mechanism. It measures 8 1/2" square by 2 3/4" thick. Wonderful hanging cord design! Finish is original with slight age crazing. Keep great time and you will love the soft tones of the chime day or night. REAL Antique Wall Clock 16th 17th Century Iron Lantern Bracket Skeleton Movement

But has made it easy for sellers to hide shipping cost in the sale and call it"free shipping" You, the buyer should know shipping is not free. Therefore, I state the actual shipping cost to be honest, not hide it in the sale. I use Fedex. USPS or UPS for shipping SORRY. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING YES. I know the bracket on which the clock sits is not as old! Here is a very rare 16th or 17th century iron clock in working condition and still keeping quite reasonable time after so many years. I would estimated this clock at around c.1580 however the anchor escapement would date it 100 years later around c.1680/90. The anchor escapement was invented around 1675. Therefore. If this is the original escapement, ... moreit places the movement around 1680-1690 or so. If, as so many original Verge Escapements, it was replaced with the anchor, then it would be c.1580. I do guarantee that this clock is the real deal, NOT a reproduction. Probably French or English. Often called a"blacksmith" clock, it is made from forged iron. The clock has a working chime bell and original hammer. The original dial is a metal plate and pewter chapter ring done by hand. This clock always had just one hand, the hour hand which is original, it never had a minute hand. The metalwork and forged rose head rivets are wonderful and reminiscent of a time gone by. Other than a couple iron pins and old brass bushings, this movement looks all original. The rack on which it sits is newer. Still hand forged iron and tastefully made with the fashionable turned ends. Interesting how the rope threads through the rack to activate the pulley and chime. The dial is 7+3/4 by 7+3/4 and the clock is 7" deep. This clock is probably French or English as the dial very closely resembles a dial form the Albert Odmark Collection that was identified as such. It has a good dial with good hands. missing the second hand) The hand set knob works correctly(as does the winder) The clock surround Ship Wheel is quite nice with a good hanger. Donau German Antique Wall Clock Reinhold Schnekenburger Muhlheim Marked Ornate
This auction is for this wall clock made in Germany dated 1882-1900. Ir is stamped RSM 366 6 with a rose. It was purchased in Germany and passed down in my family. I have done some research and found that the company that manufactured this was called Reinhold Schnekenburger Muhleim in Donau Germany. The company was formerly called Rupert Ammann(1867) It was ultimately bought out by Uhrenfabrik Muller& Co. in 1900. It is ornate wood with a porcelain dial. Very intricate detail. It is the 6th movement of 30 movements. It is very very large and heavy. It weighs 27 pounds and measures 20.5 wide 50 height 10 depth. If you would like to ship it another way than I have listed I will do so as long as you cover all costs.

Antique Austrian Wall Clock 1885 Vienna - Muhlhauser & Pleskot
An antique Austrian wall clock with a stamped metal frame. The trademark on this appears to be Muhlhauser& Pleskot from Kaistein around 1885. The clock is working and keeping accurate time. The outer frame is made of stamped metal. The inner clock face appears to be enamel with a glass covering. Very decorative hands and a signed movement(picture 5) The trademark appears on the back on the movement. The trademark is a"P" over a large"M" with a"K" on its side under the"M" the back cover is pretty badly discolored but still intact. This has a signed pendulum movement that is still working and keeping accurate time. The clock is 12 inches in diameter including the stamped metal frame. Quite a charming piece of history and elegant style in this old timer. The following was copied from an Internet iquiry ... moreabout the origons of the trademark movement and clock. The basics are that Josef M. A manufacturer of stamped metal-wares in Vienna, wanted to make his own clocks. His own efforts failing, he was able to gain ca. 1882 the services of Franz Pleskot, the Werkleiter(plant manager" of another clock factory. Pleskot was to oversee the making of"Japy movements" in Karlstein. By 1883, some 25 workers were making about 180 clocks a week. The PMK trademark was apparently used for only a few years, and Pleskot's name is no longer found as of 1888. The Mühlhauser firm was still mentioned as of 1912. I took the liberty of contacting Herr Schmid. He kindly replied, and(1) noted that as far as is known, Mühlhauser& Pleskot only made Japy-type movements in stamped metal cases- no other types. Meyer Co in Antigo, Wisconsin, with a patent date of July 22, 1919.I believe from what I can tell this particular clock was made in 1921 but it is hard to read.And what makes this clock so special and spectacular is that it IS BRASS, someone painted over it as you can see and it is flaking off from age, just would take a little elbow grease and you would have a great old brass wall clock.it will need to be rewired however.the face of the clock is completely covered with glass.in otherwise GREAT condition. The clock body is fully covered with beautiful brass trim. All of those brass trims are original and complete with no missing ones. The time shows on 12 individual porcelain plates with Roman numerals. They are original and no cracks. This clock comes with an 8 day double weight driven movement with half hour and hour striking. The clock's glass is intact Beautiful flower design on the brass looking clock face. Check out the brass squares used on the case front as decoration and how the hinge for the clock face door is flush with the front of the case.
