Antique vintage Deutsches Reichs Germany clock wall mantle 4 3/4 chime regulator
Up for auction I have a very nice and very old wall clock with the words Deutches Reichs Patent 72619 4 3/4 on back of a very ornate mechanism section. I am not sure what is going on with this clock because it looks as if it could have been a mantle clock at one time because of markings underneath. There is an extra piece that looks as if it was made later with a number stamp on the back and I am not sure if it was intended for this clock or not but it is included. The other pieces need to be glued back on. The clock will run for a bit and then stop. I have heard it chime also. This clock without taking ornate wood into account is approx. 18" tall. 12" 1/2" wide, 6" 1/2" deep. This clock needs some work but I feel with the right person it will be amazing after restoration. Antique German School House Wall Clock
This clock was brought from Germany to the US aprox. 60 years ago. I do not know how long it was used in Germany. It has been in my family forever. I have had it running. But it is not running now, It has been in storage for many years.I am sure a good check up and cleaning will make it function like new. The(oak) case measures aprox. 291/2" tall& 12 to `131/2" wide and 6" deep. The front door has leaded beveled glass in perfect condition. Hello. For sale is a beautiful wood antique wall clock. This clock has had the same owner for decades. A clock expert estimated it manufactured around 1910-1920. Probably made in New England. Works ok. Could use an adjustment as it runs about 5-10 minutes slow every few days. The gong strikes at both the hour and half hour. Beautiful wood details. 2 duck carvings at the top of the clock. 3 glass windows. The wood spires at the very top and very bottom of the clock were treated with some adhesive so that they would not fall out. The tail of the duck on the left broke and adhesive was applied to fix. This is not noticeable unless you look for it. Approximately 25 inches tall. 9 and 3/4 inches wide. 8 inches deep. Brass pendulum and brass key. A strikingly attractive antique. Front left corner is chipped off Measured from the back, the top section is 6 1/2" in diameter.Solid brass detail decorations on either side of the case. The gold decorations, I believe, are on paper? under the glass on a removable panel on the front of the case. The case weighs just over two pounds. I am listing a number of clocks and clock parts that belonged to a client here in Kansas City. My client's husband had one of the largest collections of wall. Mantle and floor clocks in this region. In the 1930's and 40's he and his wife lived in New York City and spent weekends exploring old antique shops for clocks he would later restore. A very nice Ansonia Capitol Mahogany time only spring eight day clock. Height 54" This is the third and last one I have. Has all the markings on the dial and movement. The clock looks like the 1901 model found in Trans book p.184 You can see the above issues in picture 5 and 6. I just turn the two bottom finial around so you can't see the missing piece of wood. Antique Wm Gilbert Mission Style Wall Clock Non Working Decorator Piece
This clock must have been stored in a dry but dusty barn for umpteen years. It is very dirty and does not work. I have know idea if it would be something very minor like a cleaning or something major, I can tell you from my vast clock workers experience that the dohicky is not hooked to the gizmo correctly. It would make a great decorator piece if it was cleaned up. I'm not sure that it is from 1909 or not but that is stamped into the movement that was made by Wm. Gilbert. The wooden face plate is just over 13 inches square. I will only ship to the lower 48 states for shipping price quoted. The clock case has a few nicks and dings as expected with age. The door is detached, but the hinges are intact. The clock works are loose but are easily situated in the slots. One of the ornaments on the lower side of the front door is detached but easily resecured! It looks like the top ornament might be missing but we have not seen one identical to this Clock so we are not sure. Includes fab pendulum, but missing Clock key. Seikosha is the beginnings of the Seiko watch company. Japanese Wall clocks are of excellent quality. Japan sent many clocks to Germany around 1900 when a new trade law was enacted. The people in Japan copied the favorite American and German clocks, improved upon them, added some Japanese flavor and sent them to us and back to Germany! You are bidding on the above described and pictured original antique Seth Thomas clock that is in this auction. This rare clock is circa at least around 1870 per it being manufactured in Thomaston. CT which is imprinted on the orginal movement as well as due to the model and style of the clock. I dont have the key any longer but the clock was in working order if my memory serves me correctly. The rosewood and is in excellent condition for a clock of this age. What is so unique and rare on the clock is the orginal handpainted mountain scene on the face of the glass. The paint on the glass is basically still in perfect condition as you can see in the photos without any sever scratches or any image loss etc. The scene depicts deer in a forest scene with a mountain sunset in the background. Due to the glare and lighting while trying to take the ... morephotos it was difficult to take a really good clear picture of the glass but please trust me when I tell you that it is very beautiful. Rare Large Antique Welch Forestville Gothic Regulator Wall Clock with Inlay Here is a really nice Gothic Style Welch Wall Regulator Clock. The case is in very nice condition and I believe it is made of Mahogany. It probably dates back to the early 1870s. It measures 36-1/2” long. 14-1/2” wide, and 5-1/2” deep. The case has very nice carved columns on each side as well as carvings above the door and inside the door. It also has inlay underneath the clock door. The clock is missing its dial which originally would have been about 8” It also is missing its hand. But it does have its pendulum. The clock runs for about 20 minutes and stops. So it probably needs a good cleaning. It strikes the hour on a coil gong. The clock works measure 6-3/4” long by 6-1/2” wide. They are marked“E. N. Welch. Forestville, CT USA. This is a beautiful estate piece. It has been working for 2 days but as always we do not guarantee clocks for working. We are not sure of the age but it is marked with a large J and unghans around a star motif. Please view the pictures as we tried to show all. This is a BEAUTIFUL example of a Omega Miniature German wall Clock in wonderful 100% ALL ORIGINAL condition. It was made circa 1930. German clocks were the best made in the world. The German clocks in our collection have not yet required any servicing and have kept perfect time for many. Many years. This particular model is in nearly perfect, NEAR ALL ORIGINAL condition. VERY CUTE to be sure! Much smaller than the"regular sized" German wall clocks. It has a heavy duty 30 hour time and strike movement. This clock is very cute and measures 19 ½ inches high. 9 inches wide and 6 inches deep. The case is made of solid dark oak and very beautiful. The correct replaced dial is in perfect condition. The heavy bevel glass is old, wavy and original. The back is all original and still retains its original paper label. The pendulum is ... morethe original in superior condition.
