Vienna Antique Wall Clock Very Ornate Wood Columns & Finials Kinzle Schwenningen
I am selling these for a private owner. I leave any cleaning to the new owner. This clock is from the collection of a 97 year old man. There are about a hundred of them I will be listing. I give no guarantee as to them working or their timeliness. As with most items. The condition varies. Please keep in mind their age and that they have been stored somewhere in his house. Please look closely to the photos as there is too much to describe. Clock is sold in AS IS condition and may or may not be original. The alpha at the end of the title is my reference. Clock is 35 x 14. Beautiful case but for fading probably from dusting. Center lady face piece needs reattachment. The chime is dulled as I think the hammer is not perfectly lined up, but is strikes on the hour and half. I tried to balance it on my thighs to see it run and I only lasted a couple ... moreof minutes as I needed to be still. It ticked and tocked inside as it should. A good cleaning and adjustment is recommended. It is a Seth Thomas Burglar alarm wall clock. This clock would have been mounted in the back office of a hotel and wired into the windows, doors, or wherever. When a signal was tripped an alarm would sound and a flag would raise in-front of the room in question. These were also used as butlers annunciator ... moreused as call centers for the butlers, cooks, and help. These clock were industrial used so they were defiantly abused and not babied like most clocks, despite them being very highly decorated and carved cases but this clock survived in great condition! This clock is in great condition for it's age with many carved features throughout the wood. Sadly somebody at one point has removed all the workings for the call functions. But the clock still features the original tablets on the top and bottom glass, original movement, which is a 15 day time only Seth Thomas movement in working order. The movement may need a good cleaning and adjustment after shipping however, and somebody has repaired the top of the pendulum rod, though this does not effect the clocks functionality from what I can tell. The finish of the clock may be original and is in good condition with only slight scuffs and dents here and there from being moved around over the past 100 years. These clock are highly desired and very hard to find, and when 100% can go for upwards of $1,500+. It was wrapped with rags in a cardboard box. This is a rare 19th century antique Seikosha Octogon Regulator School Clock. It was made by the Seikosha Clock company which later became the Seiko Co. It was made around the turn of the 19th century. The dial is paper over tin. It is loose and needs attention as seen in a photo. The brass ring around the face is missing screws& is also in need of attention. Some of the screws do not look like originals. The rest of the clock looks original but I do not know for sure. This is also shown in the photos. The original label is intact. The winding key is included but the pendulum is missing. The winding mechanisms both ... morework. I manually moved the hands& the spring chime sounded off. When I manipulated the pendulum holder the clock sounds like it would work. It ticked as it moved freely. Then stopped. This is a very nice old clock by Ingraham. Its wood and it says 8 day clock on the face. It has a place where either a key goes to wind it or something. Not sure on that one. I don't have the key. The face cover is hinged and opens to the side. Its green with flowers. It says on the face also made in Bristol Conn. Part of the label is on the back. Someone wrote a date of 01/31/33 on the back. It measures 8 1/2 by 8 3/4. Can't tell you if it works because of the lack of the key. Thank you for looking.

This is really cute and works great! There is no makers mark on this clock. I took the information from the internet and from the older woman I bought it from. It is about 6" tall and 5" across. It is made of wood and has a key for winding and pendulums hanging down. The water wheel turns and the deer looks on from the side of the building. I don't see any condition issues with the clock. The back board has a wonderful brown original surface patina and still retains a paper lable. Antique Japy Freres Cie Rococo Wall Clock
Offering a antique Japy Freres Cie rococo style wall clock. This is an auction find. I am not an expert or claim to know anything about clocks. Clock seems to be in very good condition, there are no cracks or chips in glass, there is one area on the face around the number III please see picture#7. The picture has a glare from the light around the number II) Clock has not been cleaned I did remove a cover on the back to take a picture of the makers mark there is also a#27 above the mark, there is a pendulum with the clock not sure if it is the original it was separate from the clock when I got it and that is the way it will be shipped. There are no keys, selling as is the hands to move. The back cover had black electrical tape to keep is closed and some residue is left on the back. There is a bird on the top picture 8. Please expect scratches ... moreand normal wear for the age of the clock. Measures 14.5" tall and 7.5" wide face is 3" depth is 4.75" weighs 5lbs. Antique Ingraham 8 day wind up solid wood wall clock bristol Conn. running
Old Ingraham wind up time only wall clock. Clock runs and is keeping good time. I opened case. And cleaned movement lightly, dropped in some oil and it runs great. Clock show its age. Finish has some deep crazing on it, Few nicks and scuffs along sides. Glass is intact and clean with no chips. Dial has a some tarnish and some scuffs and scratches but legible. Dial bezel is pretty tarnished as well. Partial label is intact on the back. Clock measures 16 1/4 inches tall, 7 7/8th inches wide, 2 3/4 inches from the wall too the face of the convex glass. Antique French ODO Odobez Wall Clock Trapazoid MOVEMENT ONLY for PARTS / RESTORE
From a clockmaker's estate comes this heavy brass wall clock movement manufactured by ODO of France. From research on the Internet the makers of this movement were the"Odobez family. Based near Morbier in Franche Comté, not far from the Swiss border. The ODO company in its modern form was founded in 1920 by two Odobez brothers and has been producing chiming wall clocks ever since, becoming. In the process, one of the most famous French clock making companies" The movement is stamped with a logo on the rear plate. MARQUE DEPOSEE, ODO, FABRICATION FRANCAISE, Bte, SGDG" and also with"Z, 22" The movement is a 2 train spring driven movement. Although the strike side mainspring barrel and some associated parts are MISSING. There is also a threaded hole approximately 1" below the strike hammer arbor that appears ... moreto be MISSING a part or parts; and the suspension spring is MISSING. The parts that are here are very dirty(oily) but are presumed to be usable/ workable. The mainspring is currently good and by moving the'crutch' back and forth by hand the escape wheel advances. Applying pressure to the lower(largest gear) on the strike side moves all the other gears up to the fly and advances the rack and moves the hammer. I am not an expert so there may be other issues that are not stated above; I am selling this movement"AS IS. AS FOUND" The isosceles trapezoid shaped clock movement plates measure approximately.1" thick with the overall height being 4.82" and the width at top 2.34" and bottom 4.40" The distance between the plates is 1.41" The distance from center to center. Up for auction is this Antique German Large Baduf Wag on the Wall Clock. This clock is Good condition. The clock is made out of pressed metal. The clock has a floral pattern in the metal. The metal is in good condition. There are a couple of minor dents in the metal of the clock. Which is to be expected from a clock this old. There is no rusting or corrosion in the metal of the clock. I do not see any cracks or breaks in the metal. The clock has a white porcelain face. The porcelain is in good condition with no chips or cracks. On the dial of the clock it reads- Baduf” The clock has black Roman Numerals for hour markers and black colored hands. The clock has 2 chains for the weights. I do not know if the clock keeps time or not as I do not know how to set the pendulum correctly to see if it keeps time. The pendulum does go back and forth ... moreand moves the minute hand but the pendulum sways and hits the chain so I cannot check to see if it keeps correct time or not. The clock does strike a bell on the half hour and counts the hours on the hour as it should. The clock comes with its weights. The clock is large. The clock measures approx. 18 1/2” tall by 14” wide The pendulum measures approx. 43” tall by 12” wide. I took a lot of pictures to show you what you are receiving. It was made circa 1915. It has a SESSIONS Clock Co 8 day time AND CALENDAR movement with THE ORIGINAL heavy fancy long drop pendulum. The movement is a very strong runner! The case is also in wonderful solid oak 100% all original condition with the ORIGINAL NEAR PERFECT finish! Up for bids is this Antique Ansonia Red Plush Velvet and Brass wall. Cartouche dial, clock in great looking and running condition. This clock was manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. New York, N.Y. in 1887 and looks great for it's age. Please check out all 10 photos for condition. The clock's diagonal measurement is 21" with an 8 1/2" brass dial and solid black steel fretted hands. Comes with Key. The clock is signed as you can see on the third photo. This clock is original but has had the BACK stapled to prevent the red plush velvet from loosening. It's a real fancy clock with 2 square winding arbors and springs to keep the clock running for a full 8 days on one full winding. Cartouche Pocelain Roman Numerals. There appears to be a signature at the bottom of the clock. Unsure if this is by the maker? This clock was made in Germany. Maybe earlier than 1929 as this was the sale date. The clock is not working at this point. I don't have the keys to get it going. It very well may work, and just needs to be wound. I'm not sure and want to to ensure that this is disclaimed. As you can tell, I'm not a clock expert. There are a few marks on the finish on the wood sides of the clock as pictured. The face of the clock has some minor scuffs around where those keys wind up the clock as pictured. Around the face, are not flush. The door is decorated with gold stenciling. There is a crumbling black paper? surface inside the door. This is a BEAUTIFUL example of a Large Japanese made German Wall Clock in original condition. Japanese Wall clocks are of very high quality. It was made in Japan about 50 years ago. It looks like a German or American wall clock. The movement looks just like an Ansonia, the Japanese are very sneaky! Japan sent many clocks to Germany and America beginning around the turn of the century when a new trade law was enacted. The people in Japan copied the favorite American and German clocks, improved upon them, added some Japanese flavor and sent them to us and back to Germany! The clock case has a few nicks and dings as expected with age. There is some veneer loss around the glass crystal of the clock and a few places on the bottom ornaments. There is one small piece of ornamental molding missing on the right side of the Clock case and on the top left as well as shown in photos. The top panel of the Clock case is a bit loose from the clock and will need to be re–secured. Missing clock face. Hands, pendulum, and Clock key. Vintage or Antique Mission Style Wall Clock in Excellent running condition.
Offered here is an Early American Mission Style Wall clock. There is no manufacturer name on the back of the movement. But it may show on the front side if removed from the case. Gilbert was a quality clock maker in the later years of the nineteenth century. He put the manufacturing information on most of his clocks on the front side of the movement. I did not remove this clock from the case as I got it from a master clockmaker and I saw no reason to redo any of his work. This clock has been updated, oiled and treated very well. I believe the X's on the outer edges were added and were not there at manufacture. However, they fit in very well and enhance the appearance of the clock. I estimate this clock was made around 1900. If you buy the clock and have questions, the master clockmaker who traded it to me is available by phone. The clock ... moremeasures about 28" X 17 1/2" X 4 1/2" when including the X decorations. I am not sure of the type of wood used, could be Walnut, oak or another hardwood, but is is stained Dark Walnut. The clock is in excellent working order and keeps good time.
