Antique German Gothic Black Forest Wag on Wall Clock Unique & Interesting
What you are looking at here is a German wag on wall clock. This clock is from the early to Mid 1800's. And comes straight from Germany by a collector who lived there in the 50's. This clock features a very unique Gothic black forest design to it. The dial is porcelain, and in good condition. There is a couple of missing pieces on the clock, but nothing to major. Included is 2 weights and a pendulum, I am not sure if these are original or not, but they appear to be period. The clock will run without the pendulum on, but will need to be adjusted to run with the pendulum. So please look ove r all the photo's to get a true grasp of the quality. And condition. Antique French Morbier Wag on Wall Clock Peacock Design Complete & Original
What you are looking at here is a beautiful example of a French Morbier Wall Clock. This clock comes straight out of Germany. From a collector who acquired many clocks while he live there in the 50's. This clock dates from the 1870's to the 1890's. The case is all pressed brass, with a beautiful peacock design both on the dial surround, and the pendulum, a very rare combination as most clocks through the years loose their original pendulum and have a period replacement without matching designs, but this one is 100% original. The brass pieces on the clock are in amazing condition, with very little tears or bends. I could only find 1 tiny issue on the dial surround, less than 1/4" long. And the bottom of the pendulum has a few bends in it, but nothing major, and it still looks just fine as you can see from the pictures. The ... moremovement is the classic Morbier movement with time& strike. The strike on these clocks is very unusual, in that it strikes on the hour, and a couple minuets after in case you missed the first one. This clock strikes on a loud bell, and is powered by 2 original heavy weights. The dial is signed with the clock-maker and town of manufacture. The dial is porcelain, with only slight damage by the 1:00 mark, there is a dent as seen in the pictures. Other than that this clock is a great wall clock! The movement is very clean and has been recently serviced, but it will need to be adjusted after shipping to run, it is currently running for me, but you will need to be adjust it once you receive it, see information below. ANTIQUE NEW HAVEN REGULATOR WALL CLOCK - 1850s
The beautiful antique New Haven wall clock is dated on the front with the New Haven logo. The date is partially worn but 185_ is legible. The bottom of the clock face says: MADE BY THE NEW HAVEN CLOCK CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. The face has a great patina that adds to the Roman numerals. I do have the pendulum but do not have a key so I don't know whether the clock is in working condition so I am selling it"as is" The clock measures approx. 22" long x 13 1/2" wide x 4" deep. The wood is in very good condition. There are latches that hold both the face and the pendulum door closed. They are still in tact. This is a great collector's or decorator piece. Rare Antique Quarter Hour Chime Black Forest Bird Cuckoo Wall Clock 30 Hour
What you are looking at here is an absolutely gorgeous German Black Forest cuckoo clock. This clock is just amazing both in size and design. Dating from the turn of the century this clock is a very rare example of black forest clocks. Most German cuckoo clocks that you see date from the 30's or later. And finding on from the 1800's is very uncommon, and this clock is in amazing condition for being from the 1880's- 1900. Featured on this clock is amazingly detailed carvings of birds, and vines sprawling all over the case. 3 birds are shown on the case, two on the main clock, and 1 large bird on the crown, which is amazingly perfect! There is also a scene I have never seen before, with the 3 baby birds in the nest resting just under the dial, it also has wooden cuckoo birds. The hand appear to have been replaced at some point, but ... moreI cannot say for sure, and the case has had some past repairs, as seen in the pictures. The birds nest appears to have fallen off at one point and been glued back into place, and the bird on the right also appears to have fallen and been glued. Nothing you can really notice without looking at the clock very closely. The movement in the clock is a large 30 hour, time and strike. But this is not you're ordinary movement, it strikes not only each hour, but on the quarter hours as well. There are 3 bellows, 2 for the hour chime, and 1 for the quart hour, and two gongs as well. All bellows are good and work perfectly, and the movement has been tested for weeks without a single problem, chimes and keeps great time. This clock comes straight out of a collector of German clocks, and was purchased from Germany when the collector lived there in the 50's. He paid $1,950 for this clock in the 1950's while in Germany! This is a beautiful antique late 1880s German Cuckoo clock. Being all hand carved the case is in Great condition! In the pictures you can see on the very top left is a small piece of wood on one of the leave is missing. This clock has been sitting in our basement for 40 years. Does need a good cleaning to the case and the movement. I am missing the pendulum and the 2 weights also some of the numbers on the dial. The case measures 12 3/4" X 7 3/4" X 5 1/4" I am selling this as is for parts or restore, which I don't think any clock maker could get this beautiful cuckoo in good running condition! Antique New Haven Long Drop School House Factory Office Wall Clock Oak Regulator
Up for auction is a beautiful oak 8 day. School house or office clock made by New Haven Clock Co in the late 1800's-early 1900's. This clock is marked"The Eclipse Regulator" and"American Wringer Company" on the back original sticker. From what I can find the American Wringer Company commissioned a number of clocks from New Haven Clock Co. as promotional items for their business. I believe this is one of those clocks. The sticker on the back looks very original. The American Wringer Co made washing machines and these were marked for them. Wavy glass top and bottom. The face has been replaced and is bubbling up in spots. A new face would improve this clock or you may be able to re-glue the face. Nice barley twist oak detailing. There is a hole cut in the back that I have no explanation for. This clock is a beautiful ... morewall clock and the hole cannot be seen from the outside. This is a lovely 19th century Junghans wall clock in excellent working condition with many features that make this a fine clock. The finely-carved German case has only a couple of small chips in the veneer which I show in my images. The porcelain face with an elegant brass bee center is free of chips. Staining or cracks. The pendulum weight also is a brass engraved beauty! The carved Eagle sets proudly atop the case. The signed, brass works slide effortlessly onto brass glides and snap securely into place. This clock is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. This clock is an 8 day. Time only 12" short drop clock. The clock is made of oak and measures 25" tall, 17" wide, and 4 1/2" deep. This clock comes with the original key and pendulum and has the fancy pressed trim. I believe the glasses are original but the 12" paper dial has been replaced. The movement is clean and is stamped E. INGRAHAM CO. BRISTOL CT. U.S.A. The movement is also stamped 10- 14 which means the clock was made in Oct. of 1914. This antique Seth Thomas oak? drop octagonal wall regulator clock was described at auction as a school house clock. The wooden case has a nice patina. And it is marked on the back 69S1H. The paper tablet inside the clock lists directions for setting up this clock as well as SETH THOMAS Manufactured in the United States of America. The brass movement is marked with the Seth Thomas insignia, S. Thomas, Thomaston, Ct. U.S.A. The dial face is metal possibly tin? with Roman numerals, 2 key posts, and S.T. within a circle and U.S.A. below the circle. It is about 24"x16"x5" in size. Antique wall "plate" clock - Holland or Germany scenescape
Up for auction is a vintage"plate" wall clock. There doesn't appear to be a manufacturer's mark- if you know where there might be one. Please let me know. The interior porcelain is stamped/imprinted(see last pic) with the following: 1228 11 Z8A(at least that is what they look like to me) It belonged to my grandparents and is probably from the 1920's. It measures about 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" This clock is untested and I don't think it's run in quite some time. Thanks for looking!

Early Antique Rosewood Regulator A Wall Clock by Seikosha w/ Aichi Movement
This antique runs well. It is made by Seikosha. The predecessor to the Seiko Company. I found a web site that indicated that early on they were affiliated with Ansonia, an American company and their movements were copies of the companies efforts. This one appears to be early enough to have an Aichi movement. Someone at some point placed an Ansonia paper dial over the worn Seikosha face. The key is not original to the clock or the movement but it works. The tone is nice, not too sharp and has a nice resonance. The case is in decent condition, it has some storage marks and could use a good cleaning, but the extent of the cleaning is a matter of taste so I will leave it to the customer. We are buyers. Antique German Original very Beautiful Gustav Becker veinna regulator 1905. imported from germany 120 years old Another very rare and stunning ornate veinna wall clock. It has beautiful hand made decor. Original white Eagle top of pressed wood, beautiful trim wood that shows off it's rich colors of beauty. The clock is made of walnut and has amazing and stunning detail This clock tick's and tock's and gongs smooth and precise. Keeps good time. 8 day clock, gongs on the hour and on the half hour. does come with it's key. The outside measurments are 54 inches tall from it's tallest peaks and 17 inches wide from it's widest peaks and 7 inches deep. The beautiful ornate clock face is 6 7/8 inches in diameter made from porcelian AND WITH NO FLAWS. Please look at all pictures. Feel free to ask any questions. A bit later than I expected but it is accurate. The pendulum hanger was patented under DGMS 103274 in late 1898 and had an original validity of three years extendable for an additional three, so it expired in late 1904 thus those numbers aren't stamped on the hanger. There was also a patent for the trapezoidal shaped pendulum suspension hook that expired in mid-1906 so that is not stamped either. Both of these points support the manufacturing date for the clock. Also, the GB logo on the dial first appeared in 1905, further supporting the date. It's a very nice example of the clocks prior to WWI; this style died out very quickly after the war and are becoming harder to find in such great condition.

Here is a wonderful. Antique Seth Thomas Wall Clock. The wood case is in nice condition. With original glass. The hinge for the bezel front is well attached and the hinge is good. Measures approximately 16 1/2" in diameter. The clock face measures about 13" in diameter. I suspect this clock was over-wound as it currently does not work. The key fits the peg. But I did not want to turn it to force it. If you like to tinker and restore clocks and can put a little time into this, it would be wonderful. It has a chime inside. Vintage soon to be Antique Meiji Art Deco wall Clock in working order and keeping decent time. I believe this clock is from 1920(see picture#5) This clock is a beautiful little clock! It does have its faults though. The finish on the door in front is damaged as is the dial(see photos#7. 8& 9) Comes complete with original pendulum and replacement winding key. 14' Tall x 9' Wide x 4' Deep. Meiji logo on the dial and works indicates this clock is original. It looks like there are hand written Japanese characters on the dial face and a date of 16-6-20 which is why I think it is from 1920. Here is a unique piece of horological history. This petite wooden shield wall clock would have hung on a wall without a case. The pendulum would swing below the movement. Hence the term Wag-On-Wall clock. It has the original enamel dial and most of the original brass decorative attachments. The hands appear to be original. There is no pendulum or count wheel, and the strike chain and both weights are missing. This could be restored or used for parts in your restoration project. The overall dimensions of the shield are 5-3/4" tall by 3" wide. If the shield were intact it would measure about 4" wide. The enamel dial has a 2-1/4" diameter. Antique Meiji Clock Co 8 Day Calendar Wall Clock Affiliated Ansonia
This is a very interesting 8 Day Calendar Wall Clock made by Meiji Clock Co. This old clock company named MEIJI was located in Nagoya. Japan beginning around 1895. Meiji is pronounced like MY GEE) Clock Company was affiliated with the ANSONIA CLOCK COMPANY in New York to produce Ansonia type movements for their oriental clocks. Later, the Meiji Clock Company produced many thousands of clocks and movements that were derivatives of the Ansonia style and which they considered an improved design. The clock is in very fair condition some signs of wear the grain finish is like an Adamantine type finish with only a couple of very minor areas of finish loss. This clock I believe is late 1800s or very early 1900s but I'm not 100% sure on that fact! The clock work great but it does need to be level to do so! It is 22" tall it is 12" wide ... more5 1/2" deep to front of convex glass, the dial is about 7 1/2" and it weighs 6.11 pounds. Aichi (Japanese) Antique Regulator Wall Clock
This small drop regulator wall clock was manufactured by the Aichi Clock Company of Japan. It has an original company label inside the case behind the pendulum. I cannot determine the date of manufacture. But the Aichi company began as a clock company on 1898 and most references to Aichi Clocks I have seen are in the 1910-1930 age. The case is a light-weight wood with original painted grain. The clock measures 19" x 12" x 4.5" The gong has a rich tone and strikes only on the hour. It is an 8-day spring-wound clock that keeps good time.

Below the face of the clock is a door which is, I believe the original color and has the original glass insert. The cabinet photo I put behind the glass just seems to fit the piece perfectly! Inside when you open the door it has the original Waterbury Clock Company instructions on how the clock operated, along with the black cast iron base that held the clock chime, which is still in tact. This piece was found gutted and stained of all things and it looked just horrible; however, after many weeks and many thoughtful hours I decided to give this relic a face lift in order to attempt to give it a new life and save it from the junk pile. Antique Mauthe Wall Clock This auction is for a beautiful MAUTHE wall clock. The case is stunning and it is one of the most attractive wall clocks I have seen. I believe you would call the case curly maple or tiger maple. The clock is in perfect working condition. I purchased this item at an estate sale and inside the case was a business card for a professional clock service shop along with the pendulum and the winding key. It appears to have been serviced and not used since it was serviced. I wound the clock and ran it for several days. It is keeping perfect time and chimes a very deep gong on the half hour and then gongs the correct number for each hour. It is 23 inches tall and about 10 1/2 inches wide and 5 inches deep. This is really a unique clock!

From the research I have done this is the Laredo model mission wall clock made by E. Ingraham. Its movement is marked E. INGRAHAM BRISTOL. CT. 09 which means it was made in 1909 during the Arts and Crafts period of time. The case is made of fumed oak resulting in the dark finish which was popular at that time. It has a wood lial with gilded metal Arabian numerals and hands. The door closes with a wooden latch in the same kind of wood. It is a time and strike clock striking on its cathedral gong on the half and whole hours. It is about 19"x12"X4" in size. Please view all photos. The clock should be placed level on the wall. LONDON This is a good quality fusee wall clock c1900 that will form the perfect finishing piece for any home. For those that don't know this type of clocks history. This form of dial clock became the workhorse of time keeping here in the UK up until c1930 when electric took over. Found in schools, public building, railways, in fact anywhere where reliable and good time keeping was required, with the minimum fuss. The case is made of solid mahogany with a nice light colour. It measures 14 inches in total width. With a 12 inch painted dial. The dial bears the name of"Geo Duncan, London" who I think would have been the person it was made for, not the maker, as I can find no reference of a clock maker ... moreof this name, but I could be wrong. Inside the clock beats the solid brass. 8 day English fusee movement, complete and working. It is very clean and has been recently serviced, so good for many years to come. Condition: the"London" on the dial is slightly rubbed and the lower door has been replaced. As mentioned. It is fully working and keeping time as only a fusee clock can.spot on! Antique Seth Thomas Wall Clock (1912) Oak Octagon 8 Day Time (Working) w/ a Key
This is a 100 year old clock that works great and has a nice solid soft ticking sound. It has the numbers wearing off and there are tiny paint droplets on the wood and glass. see pics) The two screws that hold the glass door on are not original to the clock. There is some small scratches in the black on the little window in front of the pendulum. The wood back is nailed to case and I have not removed the nails to look inside. There is a key that winds the clock(There are little paint specks on one side of the key too) and there is a second little key with a lion on it but I don't know what its function is if any. The clock stands nearly 24 inches tall and has an old metal hanger on the back with a date of 8/1/12 and 1912F. Thanks for looking!
