Antique East Lake Victorian Picture Frame w Pen & Ink? Portrait 14" X 16"
You are bidding on a Vintage Antique East Lake Victorian Picture Frame with a Pen& Ink? Portrait. The frame is 14" wide. 16" tall and about 3" deep and the portrait is about 5" X 7" The picture is triple matted. The portrait looks a lot like Lincoln but I have no idea who he is. The glass looks original with a few bubbles if you hold it just right. The back looks original with the old nails and a string that looks like it may be original also. The frame has 4 step downs. The first is the outside frame, 2nd is the gold, third is the black with a beautiful gold design and fourth is the gold design. It is in overall very good condition. It shows age appropriate wear but I do not see any cracks. Chips or breaks. There is some gold bleed over in a couple of places but nothing distracting. This is a great looking antique Arts and Crafts handcarved picture frame with painted shields. I would date it very early 20th century. The carved pieces remind me of American flag shields. But I'm really not sure what they represent. It's a very decorative frame with a very handsome look about it. It has a number of great old wormholes or beetle holes on the bottom area. But the bugs are gone. There is a chipped piece of carving on the left side. As you can see in the photo. It is about 3/8 inches wide. Also. The bottom right-hand corner has a slight chip on the corner, also shown in a photo. ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU CAST BRONZE PICTURE/MIRROR FRAME LOVELY PATINA COLD-PAINTED?

I believe this is the real deal but I am not an expert so please check out the photos and email me with any questions. We've just started clearing out the Estate of my Great-Uncle who was an antiques dealer here in Atlanta during the 1980's. This was found up in the attic with tons of other items(most of which the family is keeping but some of which I will be listing over the next few weeks) This feels real. It's bronze. The patina is nice. Looking at other completed sales the closest I can find says this is called polychrome patina- dress and flower are reddish brown. Leaves and inner tiny frame are greenish, body and arms- olive- brown. I'm not sure but maybe it is cold painted? I'm not an expert. But there are definitely different shades ... moreof patina there. The frame has an antique mirror in it with beveled glass edges and hand painted back(some of the back-painting is chipped away as shown. The mirror is backed with thin cardboard and a thin metal sheet as shown. It is held in the frame with the metal swivel latches screwed into the back(one of these is missing as shown. Frame has a swing out leg on the rear for standing on a table. Just to the right of the leg is a stamped number that I can't quite make out. It looks like it might be 7561 but I really can't tell. I tried messing with the contrast on the photo and it's still not clear. Any ideas? Interior measure(where the mirror is) approximately 6-1/8" tall by 8-7/8" wide. Another one of my estate sale Relics. The outside of the frame measures approx 29wide x 21in tall without the pediment.And with the pediment its 24 1/4in. The frame has rounded corners,and the inside would hold a picture that measures 17 1/2 x 25 5/8in,and the lip measures 3/8ths in wide. The ornate part is cracked where the pediment meets the frame. There are also a few missing pieces in this general region. The piece could be repaired fairly easily for a person with some knowledge on Mold making. The frame is a gold radiator paint color,and has multiple layers of old paint. There is a one inch long chip on the right side,and a few smaller chips along the frames edge,a little sanding would remove the chips. The piece needs a little TLC and a cleaning. Antique Brass Picture Frame with Glass Jewels - 9 X 7
Beautiful old brass frame with lots of glass jewels. All the jewels are there. This measures 9 by 7 inches. The front shows a very ornate pattern with glass jewels that would polish up if desired. The back shows four small tabs at each corner for hold the backing in place. Also shows where a loop for hanging use to be. The loop is missing- but could be replaced. No glass. The only issue I see is that there is some green oxidation on the front- especially at the upper left corner. Otherwise a beautiful piece to add to your home decor. Antique 1800's WALNUT PICTURE FRAME 16"X14" Shadow Box Style! NICE!
Offered for auction is this antique beautiful Walnut Frame in good condition. Its outside measurements are about 16 1/4" by 14 1/4" and the picture opening holds an 8" by 10" picture. This is missing its glass but that is an easy fix. It is a shadow box style as a second piece of glass could be placed in the frame ahead of the back glass. This is a mid to late 1800's frame and is in good condition considering the age. There is wear and dings on the edges as the pictures show. ANTIQUE Gilded Metal PICTURE FRAME in Original LEATHER DISPLAY BOX
This auction is for a unique and displayable antique oval picture frame in its original leather carrying case/display box. The outside of the box consists of black leather with a gilt design on front and a collapsible leg/stand on the backside. Upon opening there is a removable oval shaped gilded metal frame with plastic/glass picture cover. The inside of the frame has a piece of flowered fabric that was put in a long time ago and does not hinder its ability to put a photo in. The front of the frame is removed by popping it out and putting it back together by applying pressure. It is attached to the box by a hook and has a padded cloth interior. The box measures 6 1/2" tall. 5" wide and about 1"deep. The removable inner oval frame is 4 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide, while the photo space is just smaller than those dimensions. ... moreThis item is in decent condition for its age. The actual picture frame has no flaws. Just some slight wear. The box's leather shows a little wear/rubbing, the gilt is bright, while the leg on the back is a little loose and there is a newer ribbon keeping the arm from opening too far. This Victorian GILT triple frame for pictures or mirrors dates from the mid to late 1800's. It is in great condition considering it's age with a small area of"old damage" as seen on the corners in the pictures and a tiny spot on the edge. The damage is hardly noticeable but I always state everything. It measures 27" by 22 1/2" outside and the inside opening is 19 1/2" X 15 1/2" It would hold a 16" X 20" painting. Old solid wood beautiful oval frame with photo and matte. It is approximately 14 1/2 x 12 1/2 on the outside and the glass view area is 9 1/2 x 7 1/4. We do not know the age of this item. Solid wood. Up for your consideration is this fantastic Antique Reed& Barton Sterling Silver Frame. The frame was made by Reed& Barton Silver Co. founded in Massachusetts in 1824. This nicely made frame is stamp marked on the back top section with; R STERLING N 9" The R in a shield has an eagle on the left side and a lion on the right side. The eagle R lion mark was used by Reed and Barton Silver from 1889 to 1946. This frame measures approx. 3 1/8 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall. There is light scuffs and scratches, but still displays well. There is one tiny dent on the right of the frame about a little over half way up the frame otherwise no other issues that I see. Antique Art Nouveau Wooden Picture Frame With Raised Fan & Bird Heads
Such a beautiful frame- Estate find. Very dark brown to black wood. All the designs on front are raised wood- gold in color. At top of frame is an ornate hand held fan that has ropes coming off of it in four directions and connecting to 2(one on each side of glass) gothic looking bird heads. Really neat! There is wood beading/trim around the glass- also gold in color. Some of the beading has some small nicks(see photos) Some nicks around edge of frame and backside. Glass intact. The picture inside frame is just a piece of paper and the backing is a small piece of aged cardboard. There are 2 old screws with wire for hanging. The frame measures approx 11" tall x 13" wide.
