This is a very nice antique early lighting oil lamp. The lantern has a satin paneled glass finish. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The lantern with the glass chimney on it stands 21" tall. Without the chimney and including the metal burner it is 12" tall. It is 6" wide across the middle and is 6" wide across the bottom. The metal burner is in good working condition. Overall this is a very nice unique antique oil lantern and would make a great addition to any collection. 2 antique vintage nautical ship brass bell rocking oil electric lamp lights
Wonderful estate found matching pair of older heavy brass nautical ship oil lamps featuring a bell and a rounded base that rocks like a buoy. Both are converted to electricity and work well. The on/off switch has a large L on it(not sure what company this is) These are in very good condition and measure about 9" tall with a 5" base. GREAT LOOKING AND FUNCTIONAL. This auction is for an Antique 1870's Aesthetic Period Copper or Bronze Lamp. I believe it is Copper. It measures approx. 11" high to top of the socket. It is finely decorated with flowers. leaves. And other designs. It has an old Bakelite switch and plug has been cut off so it will need to be rewired. Lamp is in excellent condition with only some minor tarnish(mostly to one leg area on base) There are a couple pin head size dings on middle rim area. ANTIQUE CHINESE/JAPANESE YIXING CLAY DRAGON OIL LAMP/VASE- ELECTRIFIED I think this is late 1800's. It came from my great grandfathers home, I know very little about it. It has an artistic metal base and metal liner at top to hold the original brass oil lamp. At some point it was electrified and the hand painted globe was added. It has been this way as long as I can remember, I have not changed anything. The oil lamp sets securly into the liner. I have been told this vase was used to hold the oil lamp yet allowed it to be carried to another room that would have a similar vase, it makes sense. There are dragons around the widest part of the vase and decorations along the top rim. I have not seen any markings to indicate artist or oringin. It does need some cleaning. I did not see any chipping, cracking, or other visual damage. I have no ... moreidea of true value. But suspect it is alot more than the opening bid. I have never seen anything like it and I have looked. The base is 8" in diameter. Antique bronze oil lamp. The lamp measures 3” in length and 2” in height at the handles crest so I assume this was a table top light. The bronze has gone green and there are spots that show corrosion. This is from my family. And I understand that my aunt bought this in a souk, somewhere in the Middle east, sometime in the 1930’s before WWII. I have no real idea as to its exact origin. Its shape is in the Roman style. However the handle appears to be a dragon with its tongue hanging out to lick the oil, or perhaps the flame. This would indicate a more Asian influence. Or perhaps it’s not a dragon. Base is silver finished spelter metal or maybe pewter. Glass font tank is blue glass with a thumb print honeycomb pattern. The pattern can be felt on the outside. Glass section is in perfect condition with no cracks. Chips, or cloudiness. Glass does have lots of tiny little air bubbles cased within the glass. Burner collar is unmarked and shows signs of age(tiny stress cracks) upon very close inspection. Burner seems complete and burns a flat wick. Included. Wick adjustment knob works fine. It is marked with a lion and the letters O. E. B. The knob nameplate has a crack as pictured. One chimney mounting tab is missing. this is a stunning antique very large brass Victorian era oil burning floor lamp. pat. date 1893 it is fully adjustable by pushing the knob in on the shaft and adjusts from 76 inches tall to the lowest at 63 inches tall and is 19 inches wide at the feet. it is extremely ornate with intricate detailing in heavy relief with a nice floral milk glass globe style ball shade. it has a very ornate brass removable font which is complete and works great. the flame adjusts at the knob on the side and the burner mount holds a clear glass chimney shade. the long brass shaft is a wonderful swirled design and it holds the nicely ribbed shaft inside which is the adjustable part. its beautifully footed with three ball feet and are held together by a great/ very ornate cast iron triangle mount which holds the feet and shaft into place. the piece is in good ... moreshape and is very large. refer to last picture there is a crack in the font holder but not very noticeable and doesn't hurt the integrity of the piece. the lamp will be dismantled for shipping and for a safe travel. This is for a classic little oil lamp named'Little Butter Cup. which is written on the side of the font in bold, raised letters. I don't see any problems with this little oil lamp at all, except that the old wick in the burner won't come up when I turn the wheel. I think this is due to the age of the wick which is disintegrating. I new stiff wick should work. There is serious wear to the base rim. Antique Parlor Oil Kerosene Lamp Converted Electric Light Aladdin HobNail Green
The following auction is for a vintage oil/kerosene lamp that was converted to an electrical light with a switch. It is used.And original. I dont know if this is called a Fenton/Aladdin or not. I dont see any markings on the lamp anywhere,so dont think I am trying to trick you. I dont know if thats a style or a name,sorry this is the first one we have sold The light has some issues.But it does power on. The switch is for a 3 stage bright/brighter/brightest/Off Light. THE LIGHTBULB IS NOT INCLUDED. So you may have to turn the switch a few cranks,before it comes on,unless you have that kind of bulb. The glass is in decent shape with no cracks or repairs in it. There is a small chip on the edge of the lampshade. I forgot to take a pic. Its not real big,and I didnt really notice until just now when I was listing it. I felt it being a little rougher ... morethere. Its a darker green color. I think you call it hobnail or hobknob. The glass does have texture to it. The cord is in alright shape. Not all that great. I wasnt scared to plug it in or anything.But its old and wouldnt really be hard to replace,at least for the piece of mind. The light does work,the switch is a little hard to turn,but it does work. I didnt get shocked or anything like that when I was testing it. There is alot of rust/pitting on the ring that holds the shade.As well as the whole switch assembly. The spot where the oil lamp went is really pitty and rusty. The switch does work for the light,but it feels a little hard to turn. The light sits crooked. I think it has to do with the electrical outlet. When you look down on it,you can see the light is crooked. The whole ring and the entire switch mechanism is dirty and pitted/rusted up. The base appears to have been cleaned up. Its a lot shinier than the rest.It still has some pitting and tarnish spots on it.The underneath side looks terribly discolored and spotty. There is a small chipped off piece on the base. I took a pic. Not really noticeable.But its there The light stands(with shade on) about 16 inches

Antique/Antiquity Bronze Oil Aladdin Lamp Arabic Persian Ottoman Middle East
For your consideration. An antiquity, or antique bronze Aladdin genie oil lamp from the Middle East. This was in a collection with a pre Colombian Native American clay pot, an antique Turkish copper bath bowl, and two antique Asian small carvings. I know that this lamp is more than a hundred years old, and is possibly several hundred years old. It is small: it is 4" to the top of the lid on the lamp, 5.5" to the top of the arched bracket over the lamp, 4" from the end of the spout to the arched bracket, the body of the lamp is 2.5" wide, the diameter of the base is a little over 1.25" and the body of the lamp is about 1" thick. The lamp is heavy for it's size; weighing a little over 9 ounces, or 260 grams. It feels like cast iron, but the patina inside the lamp is bright turquoise. I believe it is made of ... morebronze. One side of the lamp has what looks like an arrow head shape or a fish head in a circle in the middle, and floral pattern on the rest of the body and spout. The foot is decorated with a pattern that looks like stylized capital A's in a line around it. The neck of the lamp has a pattern reminiscent of the Greek key pattern. On the other side of the lamp is what appears to be writing in Arabic. The foot is the same scripted A pattern, the spout has the same floral pattern, the neck has the Greek key like pattern, and the lid has the same tiny Greek key like pattern around the edge, and then descending from the pointed top, down to the Greek key edging, are consecutive shapes that look like men's ties. The tip of the lid appears to be broken off. The bracket that curves over the lid has what looks like fish on it. It ends in a diamond shape with a hole drilled in it.
