The font is solid and no holes or cracks, there's only minor surface rust which actually enhances its appearance. Wonderful for country-themed decorating, this lamp could also still be put to use with a new wick. This lamp can sit on a table and there's a handle on the side for carrying which also has a slot for hanging on a wall. It will add loads of charm to any room it's displayed in! Here are a pair of antique oil lamps in the'Zipper Loop' pattern; one tall one short both with thick glass and clear blown glass chimneys. One'Queen Anne No.2' brass burner is marked RAYO although both burners are marked'Scovill Mfg Co. Made In USA' Below is an excerpt describing how a Bradley/Hubbard Rayo mark ended up on a Scovill burner. Both brass burners function and both do show some age spots and slight bends around the rim. The taller lamp has about 4 minor to moderate chips on the shoulder of the base. There is minor chipping on the inner rim of the base. The shorter lamp has one minor-moderate chip in the same edge. This has some really nice detail. The tin shade could use a little cleaning for cosmetic purposes. But it is in nice condition and free of damage. The shade slides off the frame from the top. It will be sent to you disassembled. The tin shade is 18.5" in diameter. The ring which holds the font is about 8.5" in diameter. Also note. There is a latch on the ring that opens. Well back before 1915.The glass manufacturers used Manganese in the glass as a bleaching agent,they did not realize after about 75 or 80 years in the sunlight they would turn purple,so me and my buddies figured out we could run these old bottles,jars,etc. through a sterilization plant(they use the plant for band-aids,iv drips,bandages,etc. and put about 75 years of sunlight at once. GOTHIC ARTS & CRAFTS ANTIQUE HANGING GAS / OIL CHANDELIER LAMP SLAG GLASS SHADE
Here we have a very unique c. 1880's- 1905 era. ~ GOTHIC ARTS& CRAFTS HANGING CHANDELIER GAS LAMP ~. This wonderful antique gas chandelier is quite large measuring a total of about 49 inches long by 38 inches wide"to the outside of the two side globes" It has a fabulous look and is quite unique as you will see. This lamp was originally in a Historic Home in the Old West End of Toledo, Ohio. Those homes built in the late 1800's and early 1900's era had some of Toledo's most prominent residents at the turn of the last century. This 120 or so year old chandelier is pretty much in all original condition. It is still set up to operate on Gas" has the original fittings" but could certainly be electrified if desired. The over all condition is pretty decent. Two of the slag glass panes are a little different ... morein texture and color, so they may have been replaced over time. I also see that many of the little flat clamps to hold the slag glass panels are missing and black caulk was used to help secure the slag glass panels. You may want to remove the caulk and replace the little bending brackets like it was originally. I also see that the two side globes are not exactly matching, and although old shades, not original to the gas fixture. You could replace the side globes with any antique shade that has a 3 1/4" or so fitter. This unique Gothic Arts& Crafts chandelier would be the center piece to most any room in your home or business, you choose to display and use it in. Antique / Vintage---Oil Lamp---Milk Glass Base--- Forsted W / Design---Front
Up for bid is some oil lamp parts-a base and a front. The base is milk glass and is in excellent condition. It is 5 3/4" tall. To top of brass mounting collar and is 4" square at the bottom, 5 1/8" wide, corner to corner. There is no cracks or chips in this base. Next is a partly frosted oil lamp front, with a nice design, please see pictures for design) This front has no cracks or chips in it, that I see. It is about 4" tall, from the brass collar to the mounting tip. This front has air pockets and straw marks molded in the glass. The front is about 5 1/2" wide. I do not know if these two parts go together, I found them in a box of oil lamp parts at an Auction. I am putting these parts up for bid as parts or restore. Please look good at the pictures and ask questions if you have any.

Antique FINGER Oil Lamp Ornate Glass Lamp, 1890-1900's
I was told this oil lamp was made by the United States Glass Company around 1890-1900's and that it was pictured in Thuro's Oil Lamp Book. Page#319. This is a small antique oil lamp with a finger handle and burner. The burner screws on with no issues. But shows its wear, dented and rusted on the inside, as can be seen in the pictures. It measure approximately 5 1/2 inches from the handle to the other side and stands 5 inches tall. There is a seam where the glass was pressed together. the burner is missing the wheel as can be seen in the picture. The globe is a beaded clear glass globe as can be seen in the picture. The cup and globe are in very nice condition. No cracks or chips. The bowl has raised glass on the side that resembles a scalloped spiral pattern. ViNTaGe~Antique Hand Painted ROSES Glass GWTW~Hurricane~Oil~Parlor Lamp Shade 7"
This vintage creamy color glass lamp shade has a very nice flared top with beautiful ruffled edges. Gorgeous hand painted pink roses, and a rough cut bottom fitter end. The first four photos were taken while rotating the shade to show how the rose designs are arranged around the shade. It will fit on a 7" shade ring or holder. It measures about 8 1/4" tall. And is 6 7/8" across to the outer edges of the bottom fitter end opening. The smaller top opening measures 5 7/8" across to the outer ruffled edges, and the inner diameter of the"neck" opening where a chimney could go through is 2 7/8" across. It is in very good condition overall. There is a light surface swirl imperfection to the inner top(see sixth close up photo) and a small chip on the bottom fitter rim toward the back of the shade which does not ... moreaffect its use, and probably won't even be seen when in place on a lamp(see photos. last two are close ups) Bright spots are only light reflections. This is a rare Betty Lamp. Whale Oil Lamp. This lamp appears to be hand made. I would say it is very early but have found no others like it to compare. I was told it was the ship captains lamp but they were unable to remember the name of the ship they were told it came off of. This is a family item and there is no one left to ask. The bottom appears to me to have a wear spot. But none the less it is unusual and unique in design. The wear would make since if you hold it up by the hanger it would have had rub there as the boat motion is constant.
