Antique Perfume or Oil Lamp base blue coin spot dot optic glass opalescent
The brass fitting has threads on the inside. But I don't know if this was for an oil lamp or a perfume bottle. In great condition, no chips or cracks, slight rub marks on brass. Measures 3.5" tall. I try to find any defects but I can't guarentee I'll see them all. No returns unless item is not as described. This is an older piece and therefor is no longer perfect as the day it was made. Antique Kerosene Whale Oil Lamp HEART TOP PANEL Milkglass Base 10 1/2" Tall
Offered for sale is this hard to find circa 1875 glass Oil Lamp with a Heart Top Panel glass pattern in good overall condition. The same pattern can be seen in Thuro's first book. Oil Lamps, on page 167. It is a very odd glass pattern as it has a ridge that splits the hearts. It measures about 10 1/2" to the top of the collar and has a 4" square base. The threads on the collar look fine and should fit a burner easily. The inside diameter of the collar is about 15/16" The bottom of the brass stem is loosening as you can"wiggle" the lamp, but it is still holding together. There are some minor chips and flea bites on the bottom edges of the milk glass base, but nothing major. There is a chip on the top of the milk glass base that I tried to show in the last photo. This is an antique hanging oil lamp. The lamp is being sold as is for parts or repair. I looks like the previous owner made a poor attempt to electricfy the lamp. There is an electric cord that can be pulled out. And you can take the top of the glass oil lamp and put another font/burner on. The glass green lamp shade has several cracks and has been glued back together. If you don't want the shade with the cracks let me know. The current shade has a 13-3/4" shade fitter opening. The only condition issue is a flake under the bottom of the foot and a couple of minor chips. The burner has some wear from age and is signed and reads. No. 1 Queen Anne No.1. The lamp stands at 9" to the top of the burner and is 4" at its widest point. This is the first of a pair of this lamp, this one being slightly larger than the other. Available for purchase is this wonderful Antique Opalescent Swirl Finger Lamp. I am not sure who the maker of this lamp is. It has a frosted foot. Which I thought was rather interesting. You don't see many finger lamps with frosted feet. The font is a blue opalescent swirl. There are no chips or cracks in this lamp. There is some minor kerosene staining at the bottom of the font. There are a few imperfections if the lamp that I believe were created in the manufacturing of the lamp. They appear to be small bubbles, or bubble burst that are on the out side of the lamp. Vintage/Antique Ruby/Cranberry Blown Glass Oil Potpourri Scent Lamp/Jar
Here is a vintage or antique blown glass oil scent lamp maybe. Or maybe an old potpourri jar. The ruby coloring looks to be applied over the clear glass as there is a little chip under the rim and it is clear as well as the bottom is clear. It has a metal lid with decorative flower like cut top. It has some corrosion around the bottom of lid. Total height is about 3 1/4" tall and about 3 1/2" wide at the mid section. For your consideration is an unusual cabinet to safely transport fuel for an oil lamp. Not sure if this is homemade or not but it is nicely done in solid mahogany. Cabinet opens at the top to reveal a 1 gallon can. The front opens to reveal a mirror. There is a shelf at the bottom for a box of matches too! I would imagine you would fill your oil lamp and put it in front of the mirror to reflect more light. The brass pull ring on the top was missing so I replaced it with a key ring so it is not original to the cabinet. A nice display piece for any lantern collector! Offered for sale is this antique flat clear glass Chimney with oval top and bottom openings in very good overall condition. The chimney stands about 6 3/4" tall. There are bubbles in the glass and minor chips and flea bites on the inside of the top rim. The bottom oval is flared out and the outside dimensions of the oval are 2 7/16" by 1 5/8" There are no cracks in the glass. This looks like it may fit a Pinafore burner but I can not be sure. Offered for Auction: Lot of 4 Matching 19th or early 20th C. Oil Lamp Burner Fenced Crown Style Chimney Holders which fit#2 Eagle Burners. The chimney holders feature a diffuser and wick cover. The crown gallery is 3" in diameter and will hold a 2 5/8" chimney. The wick holder is 2" and the burner I've used as an example has a 1 1/2" wick width. The example burner(NOT INCLUDED) is an EAGLE brand with a 1 3/16" threaded base which I believe is a#2. And I do not know if these holders will fit other brands, however the holders are unmarked so they might be interchangeable. Each chimney holder slips snugly over the burner and the notch in the base of the chimney holder lines up with the wick winder on the burner. The central wick cover and diffuser are a single piece which is crimped to the gallery, and they do not ... morecome apart. They all have natural darkened and verdigris patina due to age and use. I have not cleaned them and I am uncertain if they are solid brass or brass plate over copper, they are non-ferromagnetic. Condition: Fair given their age and use.Their patina has darkened with age and the brass tone varies. This is an antique brass MILLER 330 duplex( double burner) oil lamp burner. The set screw for the chimney is missing on this piece. Excellent condition otherwise with an unbent inner screen. And two wick winder knobs that work properly. The cover snaps shut firmly. Clean and shiny with just a few spots of tarnish here and there. This is an antique oil converted Gone With The Wind lamp. At the top of the brass on the lamp is marked The Rochester. PAT D. FEB 28, 1905. The lamp is yellow and white with hand painted flower and house by the lake. The dark lines that connect the flowers like vines/tree limbs look like it could have been added later. You can see a little of the clear glue around the top of the brass. The clear glass chimney flute/shade is marked Aladin. And has a small chip at top as you will see in the pictures. Up for auction is a very pretty ornate Bradley Hubbard Brass/ Bronze Oil Lamp base that has been converted to electric. I am able to light it up but there is a short in the light and the electrical wiring looks like it needs to be rewired. The lamp is hallmarked B&H on the oil cap and on the bottom. It has two dates one from 1892 and one from 1895 on the top where the wick would normally be(see photographs) The lamp itself is in very good condition with only one small ding on the wall of the lamp(see photograph) Hardly noticeable unless you hold it in a certain light. Antique 1837 Morning Glory flowers painted Brass Copper Hanging Lamp elec oil
Stunning antique hanging lamp with a lovely painted glass shade that appears to be Morning Glory flowers and greenery. It works! This is an electrified oil lamp that looks all original. The ceiling plate may be copper and the rest of the ornate metal on the piece. Brass. It has a glass chimney, ornate chains and designs that add to the appeal of the hanging lamp. It is marked with a patent date of Nov. 15, 1837 and the burner is stamped"eagle" The wrap around painted shade has some light white paint splatter that someone could clean with ease. Tiny droplets. The metal is all in good shape, and very ornate. No chips or cracks in the glass, original wavy glass oil basin too. The hanging length is 30 inches, the glass shade is 14" wide by 6" tall. Vtg 1920's antique primitive arts and crafts brass and copper oil lamp
It is 9 1/2"H and the attached under plate is 6 1/2"W. The top screws off so it can filled with lamp oil. It needs a wick. Sorry. But I don't know anything else about it. I bought it at an estate auction. The style, craftsmanship, design, age, and materials lead me to conclude it is a primitive, hand crafted piece from the arts and crafts period.
