From an estate sale is this very unique Antique Vtg Brass Wall Mounted Oil or Kerosene Lamp. It measures 15" tall and is about 5" at its widest. The two glass window panes are intact and there is a panel that you open to access the wick of the lamp. The wick does move up and down ... moresmoothly and you remove the top to access the oil reservoir. There are no dents in the brass or damage just normal wear as seen in photos. You simply mount the round brass circle to the wall and slip the oil lantern into it. I've never seen one quite like this one and I hope I'm right that it is nautical because it certainly looks and feels like it is to me:o) Actual shipping is $24.90 to anywhere in the US or Canada. Racine, Wis.No 47. i goggled the number and didn't come up with any info on it.i think its a 6 volt lamp.it looks like its been around awhile and the aluminum has dulled.there are no cracks in it and it looks like each of the peices were mounted on something as the 2 peices have nubs on them and they don't fit together.overall it looks like with a good cleaning it can be put back into use.you may or maynot want to polish it.they measure about 4 1/8" tall. shipping will be $12.65 in a med flat rate box.Thanks.

The condition is good. There are very minor dents and scratches. There is also some repaired places. One on the lowest base and the other one is just under the hanging ring on top. Antique 1850 Eskimo Brass Whale Oil Lamp Point Barrow Find Santa Fe Collection
This is a very interesting section of a brass cooking pot. Cut out of the bottom of a larger cooking kettle. This dished shaped piece was used as an oil lamp and purchased from Eskimos at Browerville(Point Barrow) in June. 1962. Used as a lamp. a cotton wick was placed in a pool of oil. It is marked The American Brass Kettle Manufacturers. 5" was the pot size. Founded 1834 in Wolcottville, Connecticut(now called Torrington) They were the largest brass kettle producer in the US. Size 10"x 6 1/2” long. Typically used as an Indian trade item. Estimated to date to around 1840s-50s. Not- No returns. Study the pictures before bidding. Early 1800's Vapo Cresolene Antique Medicine Lamp With Ad
This medical lamp has a glass oil container with it's original wick for heating medicine that was for various maladies of the 1800's. The ad(included) claims that Vapo Cresolene"Cures While You Sleep" Whooping Cough. Croup, Bronchitis, Grip, Hay Fever, Diphtheria, and Scarlet Fever" The ad was in an old newspaper of the day. The pieces are all here except I have seen some that have a plate on the top of the metal dish so it may be"missing" that piece. The glass is not broken and the metal is intact with all original parts. It is still usable for incense or warming fragrant oils of today. The wick can be adjusted by the small wheel on the side. The glass bottle has the words VAPO CRESOLENE USE KEROSENE around the bottom. antique 1800's pine wainscoat dry sink with pump electrified lamp
I have a beautiful antique dry sink that has a hand operated water pump attached. The pump has been electrified and made into a lamp.The measurements are 33 inches tall. 30 inches wide, 18 1/2 deep, and the sink depth is 5 inches. The dry sink has been elevated off the floor buy a wood base. This makes it easier to open the door. It stands 2 1/2 inches up off the floor and is recessed 2 inches from the bottom edge. The door latch is original hardware in working order, occasionally the spring sticks. There is a small hole in the back left corner of the top, from way back when that is not shown in the pictures, but is not very noticeable and could be repaired. No makers mark that I can find. No chips. Cracks or repairs to the glass or to the maple parts. Lovely honest. Old condition. 20.5 inches to top of socket. 28 inches to top of finial. 8 3/5 inches across the widest point of the glass. It is antique. 1893 Rochester Mammoth Oil Kerosene Brass Hanging Lamp w Iron Hanger Description: Lamp metal font section embossed brass. Hanger bracket appears to be a combination of cast and wrought iron. A similar lamp was advertised as a Number 10 in the 1893 catalog issued by the Rochester Lamp Company. New York. Good condition overall but there is a dent in the one side of the fuel tank. Dent is mostly hidden when inserted into the hanger. More details below. All glass pieces are in fine condition with no damage. Frosted chimney measures 12 inches tall overall with a 4 inch diameter mounting area. Upper and bottom rims are both cut but the upper is way thicker than the bottom edge. 7 inch tall milk glass shade measures 11-3/4 inches in diameter at the bottom rim and 4.5 inches in diameter at the top. Both ends of the shade are rough cut. Similar shades ... moreand lamps were also marketed by the Royal Lamp Company. New York. The hanger is included but it's slightly different than the one illustrated in the 1893 catalog. It has some rust and flaking paint. The brass font parts are in nice original condition. There is a dent which likely needs repair prior to holding fuel. IT seems complete other than there is no wick or smoke bell. Tank section measures 8.5 inches in diameter and 11 inches from the bottom up to the fitter ring. Fitter ring has a silver colored screw that works but is may not be original. Overall measurements of the harp section with lamp font inserted is 35.5 inches. That does not include the 44 inches of chain. Has not been restored. Polished, or converted to electricity. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN FOYER CEILING SLAG LAMP CIRCA EARLY 1900'S
Here for your consideration is a beautiful antique Victorian style foyer slag lamp that was purchased from the estate of a home that was built in the 1920's. This piece is as breathtaking as it is unique. It is 18 inches in height. 10 1/4 inches wide, has a 6 inch chain, and a ceiling cone that is 4 1/4 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches tall. It features four slag"S" shaped curved caramel swerve colored glasses. All original, all in excellent condition. Also features 4 more"S' shaped narrow glasses that are located just behind each of the four ornately decorated gorgeous corners of the lamp. There are 4 crowning screw-in pieces located at the top corners of the lamp to allow easier access to the interior. To say that this lamp is a work of art is an understatement. Despite its wonderful features we are obligated of course ... moreto tell you of any defects. The tube that connects the chain to the ceiling has a little bit of build up. Or lite rust. However this does not stop it from screwing securely to the lamp and going through the cone. The lamp appears to have been spray painted gold and has some areas that are flaking, underneath reveals are beautiful dark patina. One of the small ornaments just above the larger"S" shaped glass appears to have been chipped and may have been repaired. It should be noted that this piece is small and not very noticable. Not a difficult repair should you decide to go that route. The bottom of the lamp has some scratches do to it being placed on the floor. The electrical wires have been updated. However we can not guarantee that they work. All in all it displays breathtakingly as it stands with just a few touch ups. Or it can be completely restored with its lovely dark patina underneath. Anchor Ships Lantern(Not a Reproduction) This is a very large antique ships lantern marked as"Anchor" To the best of my knowledge it has all parts needed to burn oil. Please view pictures to augment my description. It is not electrified and it is NOT a reproduction. Lamp measures a stately 23" to top of handle. 18" tall without handle and at its widest a 10" diameter. With the exception of a dent in the brass at the base the lantern is in excellent condition. Lantern inner chimney has a couple of chips and a crack at the bottom where it sits in base. This can be easily replace but I beleive that this one is original so I will not replace. Converted to electric but there is no insulation at end of plug and I am afraid to plug it in.so this should be tested, rewired by electrician. Base is brushed green cream colored finish, over metal. Stands 26" tall and the Bohemian glass portion is just 10.75" height. There are large dangling prisms and there is one missing entirely. There is one with a large chunk missing from the bottom, all others have some chips on their pointed tips, chips on pointed tips except for 2 that are in good condition. Up for your consideration is this fresh off the estate. Hand forged, wrought iron, electric, double candle, table lamp. Beautiful details and hanging tassels under each candle. the metal frame is in excellent antique condition, showing no damage, just normal wear to the raw metal and is shown as is without a shade or finial. The lamp is in working condition, and the wiring is in tact without and breaks or fraying, although I would recommend it be rewired. One of the two black with gold drip candle covers shows some melting on the bottom(see photo6) Luckily it is covered by the metal frame and the damage is not visible.
