Fantastic collectible! Made in Hong Kong- nice collectible miniature ANTIQUE GRANDFATHER CLOCK dark metal Pencil Sharpener. This sharpener is a dark bronze color and measures approx.1 1/4" x approx. 1 7/8" at the base x approx. 3 5/8" H at highest point. Raised lettering on the back of the clock shows"MADE IN HONG KONG" The door to the pendulum may be opened and closed& the pendulum may be manually"swung" by turning the knob(in the back of the clock) back and forth. Nice detail in the face of the clock. Too- raised numbers& hands of the clock- on the lower part of the clock(below the pendulum area) there is a raised image of a fish and on one side of the lower part, there is a"gold" sticker showing" G S C" This sharpener is in excellent vintage condition. There is one repaired crack in the molding at the top of the radio which is barely visible. It was repaired before I acquired the radio which has been over 15 years ago. German Antique 1900 Tall Case Grandfather Mahogany Clock. Made in Germany about 1900. This tall or long case Grandfather clock is in excellent running condition. The matched mahogany case has flame grain panels. The original finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and buffed. So an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is all that is needed to maintain the warm patina. Hand cut dovetail joints are visible on the back of this expertly crafted case. Engraved brass weights. Pendulum and dial are all original on this antique. There is a little wear to the hand painted numerals, see photos. The unsigned brass movement runs a week on a winding, done by pulling the chains on the weights, this elegant clock counts the hour and chimes on the half as well. 1780 ANTIQUE MAHOGANY AND OAK BRASS FACE GRANDFATHER CLOCK MADE IN ENGLAND.
This is a superb brass face 8 day grandfather clock made in England circa 1780. This has a mixture of woods some part mahogany and some oak. With the original finish. The face is solid brass we have the two weights and the original pendulum. Its in perfect working order but some times when they travel it can disturb the movement so I will sell it not working. To the top it has the 3 brass finials which are also original. The center door has a satinwood shell marquetry inlay. Measurements are 96 tall 22 wide. 10 deep.

I offer a 8 day antique Floor clock movement fresh from a clockmakers estate. It is unique due to the round dial(13 1/2 dia) and the fact that it has a calendar and sweep seconds. It is missing the seconds and sweep hand but all wheel work is present for the calendar. I encluded a photo showing the center seconds mounting post coming out of the front plate. The dial is very nice having the normal chips scratches and some inperfections(origional) where the paint followed the flaws in the iron plate castings etc. I would never repaint or restore it nice for its age. It will need 2 weights and pendulum. If your reading this you know where to get them. The movement look complete and solid its dirty and will need cleaned and possibly other repairs I do see on the time side great wheel where some teeth have been replaced/repaired and 1 tooth replaced ... morewith a pin(old repair) This would make a nice restoration project for you old case or to rehouse in a case of you construction I offer it with a low reserve. Here is a beautifully proportioned mahogany Herschede clock c.1927-29. This clock has been in my possession for many years since I purchased it from the original owner in Long Beach. This is a smaller clock than the traditional Grandfather Clock. The movement has been regularly serviced and is in perfect running order and keeps great time. Often called a Grandmother clock. Herschede termed it the"Petite" clock at 6' Make no mistake, this is the same outstanding quality as the early 8' Grandfather clocks. Antique Cherry Tall Case Grandfather Clock PA Or OH 1780-1820 95-3/4" Moonphase
I purchased this clock from an estate in Ohio. And it was running very well. We had it transported to GA only to discover that it is too tall for the room that we wanted to put it in. I have had it stored in my grandmothers house, and have not made any attempt to install the weights or restart it as I understand they can be quite particular and must be perfectly level, etc. I have had it appraised at much much more than my asking price. And was told that the cabinet is cherry wood and that it was probably made in PA or OH sometime between 1780 and 1820. The maker is unknown. The movement was replaced decades ago with a quality Urgos moon phase movement with chimes. I did not hear the chimes before I got it as it was in an auction setting, but it was running properly. It has the three brass weights that go with it. The clock stands 95-1/4" ... moretall and the base measures 17-1/4" wide and 10-1/2" deep. The movement looks to be very nice and clean. But I have no idea when it was serviced last. Unless you are a clock person, I would suggest having someone who is to set it up and start it properly after being transported. I am in no way a clock expert and can only appreciate the quality workmanship and furniture value of the case which is amazing. The top portion is put together using dovetail and mortise and tenon joints.it is a beautiful and impressive piece! Local pickup only in north GA zip 30528. Here is a beautiful American tall case clock from the early 1800's it measures 94" tall 18 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" deep. The clock was probably made in Pennsylvania or possibly Virginia or Kentucky. It has an 8 day time and strike brass movement that strikes the hours on a bell. The movement has been recently cleaned and oiled and is in good running condition and it is also a very good time keeper. The calendar dial and the seconds hand are both in good working condition. The dial is original and in very good condition the hands are all original. The high style clock case has the original finish and is made of flame mahogany with cross grained banding on the door and base. The hood columns and the waist columns have very detailed feather carved tops the hood has rope turned moldings on the top and sides it's a very impressive ... moreclock! The hood door has the original glass that is very wavy with the old putty holding it in. The lower hood moulding is missing a little bit of the bottom edge this can only be detected at a certain angle when looking at the clock it is not noticeable. The clock comes with the original winding crank and the original keys for the waist and hood doors both locks are in working condition. This is an 1800s time period English GF movement. it is not complete but is missing some parts. Pic#2 shows the steel shaft w/o the hour wheel&pipe, also on the back plate it is missing the small pinion gear that meshes into the count wheel(see pic#4)the movement hour side wheels will run thru when pressure applied but looks like the count wheel is on backwards since the lift&lock arm isn't aligned w/the shut off notches in the count wheel(wheel needs be reversed) This appears to be the original chain. It is one complete circle w/a lead donut ring on it&is going over both T&S sprocket wheels.the chain is at an angle from the time to the strike sprocket wheels(see pic#11,12) it may not be the correct chain position.don't know enough about these older mvmts. Up for auction is a wonderful Art Deco Period American Grandfather Clock. Circa 1920-30. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 87" W- 23" D- 14" The Company: Hanson Clock Company. Rockford, IL. The Case: Original walnut finish. I think its in great physical condition for a clock that's roughly 90-100 years old. There's a couple of minor scratches and one small piece of veneer that's missing on the bottom right side. This veneer loss is not visible from the front. Its approximately 2" long. The Glass: Original top glass. Bottom glass appears to be a replacement. I don't see the"wavy" in the bottom glass. The Face/Dial: Original to the clock. Very clean with a few tiny areas that have a light scratch/blemish. The Hands: Original blue steel hands. The Weights: Original to the clock and ... morehave a great patina. The Chains: Original to the clock and have a great patina. The Pendulum: Original to the clock and has a great patina. The Movement: Original to the clock. Antique Kienninger Grandfather Clock from Germany NR
This is a Kienninger Grandfather Clock made in Germany it runs great it chimes every 15 minutes and gongs on the hour. it has a brass dial an the upper right corner of the dial has some brown spots on it. It shows well in the third picture. I did not attempt to remove them this was acquired with a collection of all running clocks so I am leaving them as I found them. French Manufactured 9' Antique Grandfather Clock
Antique French-manufactured Grandfather clock. Circa 1900, of majestic proportion. Sans provenance;however, based upon an internal plaque, this clock was certified to be in full working order on 1 January of 1911. Research indicated that the clock was probably purchased by Monsieur Marcel Blottiere for use in his business, possibly a butcher shop, in the central France town of Sivigny Sur Braye. Monsieur Bolottiere's name has been painted on the clock dial, a practice common during this era, to promote business and as a subtle sign of affluence. The chime mechanism of this clock is uniquely interesting, having hammers that are activated through a drum, pin and string arrangement whereas British and German manufactured clocks of this and earlier era employ a gear, cog, hammer mechanism. The chimes are of turned hollow pipes vice more normal ... moresteel rods. This magnificent example of a Grandfather clock stands a towering 108 inches tall by 26 inches wide by 21 inches deep. Antique Mahogany Tall Case Grandfather Clock? Circa 1830's H- 91 3/4" W- 19 1/8" D- 10 1/2 Up for sale is this lovely English Grandfather clock. The case presents well and is solid mahogany(not veneered) with an old finish. The backboard may be pine or a wood like it. The hinges on the center door were replaced. But may not have been mounted properly as the door is slightly warped. The center finial is replaced. As you can see by the pictures, the case has had some repairs to the backboard to strengthen it. I think the 8 day movement is original to the clock- it is complete and looks pretty clean. The clock has no weights, pendulum or keys or door lock to the center door. Antique Oak Tall Case Grandfather Clock H- 88 3/8" W- 20 3/4" D- 10" Up for bid is this antique?English/Scottish Grandfather clock. It is well proportioned and maintains it's original finish. It is about 125- 150 years old and its condition is consistant with it's age. The case is solid and sound except for a small square piece in the lower base that needs gluing next to a piece of molding that has the top edge broken. The clock looks to be mostly complete. But is missing the center finial and hands and has a newer pendulum. It has a winding crank key, door lock and working key to operate it. The Painted dial has a moon phase calendar and beautiful decorated corners. The movement is 8 day time and strike, looks clean and well maintained, but I have not tested it as I don't have the appropriate weights to run it. ... moreA newer seatboard was made as the old one was cracked and crumbling. Really beautiful old German Grandfather clock. Solid wood case. 81" tall. 10" deep and 20" wide. Base is 24" at the widest point. No weights. Domed glass for clock face is about 11.5" across and beveled glass front is 38" at the top of the arch. All glass is intact. Would need to be serviced by qualified clockmaker and new weights installed and calibrated by clockmaker. Cannot find signature on movement. One of the feet is cracked. As is.

Cool antique Telechron Grandfather Clock w/Works! Nice! What a beautiful clock! Looks like it could be homemade– not sure? In decent Antique condition! In working condition. Runs and keeps good time! The case has a fair amount of dings and scratches as expected with age. There is a chip on one of the legs on the lower rear right side of the clock The door to the clock face is detached from the clock. But the hinges are intact, and the glass has a crack right through the middle– easily replaceable! The glass in the middle panel of the Clock case is detached but there are no cracks or imperfections just needs to be re-secured. See photos! From the estate of a clockmaker.
