I am a conscientious seller so if I come across these at a later date you can count on me to forward them on to you. I have not been well enough to make a good search for it as there are many boxes to go through. It is exquisite and has the rare feature of two figures of a man and a woman. Finely detailed. The woman sits somewhat loose on the base. I am not sure if she screws on to the base or if there is another method. Again. I am not going to try and effect any repairs myself. I remember as a child sitting and staring at this piece for ages on the fireplace mantel and imagining the figures dancing. Antique French Empire Period Ormolu and Patinated Bronze Clock c.1830
Beautiful French Empire Period Ormolu Clock of large size. The neo-classical theme featuring a lady sitting on a rock next to a stream with her right foot just touching the water while her urn is spilling out into the stream. The very detailed rock is patinated bronze and the rest of the clock is gilt bronze. The fine details to all of the castings are amazing. The clock retains it's original mercury fire gilding. The original 8 day spring wound movement has silk thread suspension and strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. The clock retains it's Breguet style blued steel hands. The dial center is gilded and retains the original signature of the maker which reads: Guyerdet Aine. Rue Meslay No.48 A Paris. Tardy lists Guyerdet aine at Rue Meslay c.1830. The silvered chapter ring has darkened with age but is in it's untouched ... moreoriginal state. The clock stands 23 3/4" tall which is 60cm. Note: The clock is in good running condition and has a correctly working but replaced pendulum and winding key. I believe that the back door to the clock which is glass and gilded brass is later. It would originally have been a plain open ring. There is some rubbing on the lady's knee which is more polished than the rest of her leg but the original gilding is still there and the color is right. The gilding hasn't been recently cleaned but is a lovely mellow color. The sides and back of the base are dirtier than the front but very acceptable. Please see photos. Clock is located in Florida and will be shipped from the US Attractive antique French Portico Empire Style Four Column Clock. Circa early 1900's is our best guess at the age. The 8 Day Time and Strike Clock is supported on 4 ebonized wood columns with gold toned supports. Chimes on a bell on ½ hour and on the hour. Size: 15” high Base: 8 1/4” Depth: 3 1/4” Face Dial measures 3 1/4” has a gold toned embossed raised bezel and chapter ring The numerals on the face have been replaced as they were worn. Movement: brass movement has no identifying marks appears clean and has been serviced and oiled is working and keeping good time. Bell strike is not loud. Case: good condition. Some vintage wear to finish that I have tried to show in pictures, original bun feet are intact, the finish is a high gloss ebonized finish over wood with gold ... moretoned embellishments. The gold trim across the base on the front of the clock is a replacement. One piece of the molding at the top is a replacement. Pendulum is large and original embossed gold toned metal Note: the pendulum bob must be removed for shipping to prevent damage to the clock movement. The bell must be removed with one screw in order to reattach the pendulum. Weighs 1 pound 8 ounces. Clock is unmarked and is missing its handle on top as seen. Two Saint Bernards or Mastiffs appear to hold the handle, could be of French or Swiss origin. I bought this out of a cabinet in an old house where it had been for many years. I brought it home hooked up the fancy mercury pendulum wound it up and it has run. Kept time and chimed for the last two hours. The clock face has a couple of hairlines as seen in the pictures. The face reads FFANY& Co New York. The TI has been worn off. There are no chips or cracks in the beveled glass. The Gold finish shows wear. The back reads"Japy Freres& C" C de Med. D'Honneur" Made in France 90444. The clock is in really fantastic shape- clean with virtually no damage whatsoever. The only thing that I could find are several small chips to glasses. French antique brass skeleton clock with glass dome on ebonized black wood stand
You are bidding on a gorgeous French brass frame skeleton clock with glass dome. Made probably in 1860-1870 time period. It is marked on the back of the gear plate which is covered by the bell and I cannot get a picture. Most likely Henri Marc of Paris. Etched brass frame and has two trains, one for time and the other sounds the hour and the half hour on the bell. Pendulum is lovely and etched also. Pendulum makes the gears tick but I cannot guarantee it keeps time; probably will need adjusting. Measures 16" clock, 19" from wooden base to top of clock; 8" across at base of clock. Has key thats winds well, probably not original. Dome appears old and is original to clock when we got it 20 years ago. Bought at a Paris antique market. Has blue Roman numerals. A most impressive antique. Circa 1850's, Napoleon III, onyx case mantel clock with ormolu brass mounts. The ormolu dial has a center pierced rosette, fine with black numerals, flat beveled glass in brass door. The case front has two top corner ormolu cupid heads. It is in working order, the brass works marked: Japy Freres. It tells the time, coil chimes the hours and halves. The clock measures 19" tall by 11-3/4" wide by 7" deep. Very good plus condition: the lower back case onyx stone has been broken into pieces and cemented back, all other onyx stones without damage. Ormolu brass in original finish, glass fine in door. The first one: The brass weight is stamped 47271 and engraved" hA" There is also a makers name on it but it is so worn that I can't read it. At the top is a 2 pronged fork. At the bottom is the brass circular weight which can be lowered& raised by turning the wheel in the center, small screw at front, it mesures 2" in diameter, and 5" long. The second one: At the top is a 2 pronged fork. At the bottom is the brass circular weight, it is stamped 3568, it mesures 1.5" in diameter, and 4.25" long. Both of them are in good condition. No bends or splits. All my items are used and not new so please ask questions before bidding if you are not sure about an item since all sales are final and payment is expected within 5 days.

Rare French Perpetual Calendar Mantel Clock Signed'Cromey. Bristol' Circa 1850 Very nice gilt bronze French Perpetual Calendar Clock with marble base. Enamel dials and the case is glazed(glass) on the sides/rear. The c lock's movement operates properly and the clock is in excellent condition. The 14 day movement strikes the hours and half hours on a bell with a Brocot dead beat escapement visible through the upper dial and a compensated pendulum of brass and steel peculiar to Ellicott's design. The gilt engraved dial mask; the upper white enamel dial with blue steel'Breguet' style hands and Roman chapter ring; the lower perpetual calendar showing: day. Date, month, equation of time, and moon phase. The numbers on the calendar dial around the inner circle indicate the difference between solar and mean time. Which shows ... morethe'equation of time' This allowed people to set their clocks by using their sundials. The movement signed'Cromey. Bristol' and numbered 31945. The calendar movement numbered 31756. The case is glazed on three sides and open to the front; multi-colored gold ormolu on a white marble base; surmounted by a'ruffled pigeon' numbered 39703. William Cromey is listed in Britten’s as a clockmaker and jeweler in Bristol. 1842. As with many French clocks in the 19th century they were made in France but sold in England. In this clock the retailer, Cromey, probably commissioned the clock so his name is on the dial. Antique English or French fusee movement wall clock
DESCRIPTION Selling this original antique fusee movement wall clock. I do not know the manufacturer. As there is no maker mark on the clock. I am assuming it is English made but it could be Continental. This is an old, solid clock, built with a standard English style schoolhouse type wooden case, in excellent condition, with a spring clip retained hinged lower door. The clock case itself is built in two pieces. The front piece is the face, which is a lacquered paper glued to a solid heavy metal disk, with the works attached via standard lynch pins and posts. The back half is essentially a wooden box, which friction fits over two ribs on the front and is secured with two angled wooden dowels. The works are heavy, solid brass, and the clock itself functions well. The pendulum hangs on a two position pin, and frankly it is a bit of a pain to ... moreget the clock pendulum in position once the clock case is together. However, once everything is in position, this clock runs very well. The fusee movement is very smooth, and winds tightly. The case is a very pretty honey coloured oak, I think, and is in fine condition. The glass of the door may have been replaced, as it is flat and I would have thought it would be curved, but hard to tell. It has most certainly been re-secured in place at some point, as it is held in with clear silicon caulking which I'm pretty darn sure wasn't around in the mid 1800's! Note that this is a heavy clock because of the fusee movement and the face. So will need to be hung on a decent size hook-it weights a little over 12 pounds! I have quite number of pictures of the clock. But of course Ebay only allows 12-if interested, please contact me and I can email shots of whatever is desired. Antique Tiffany Samuel Marti French Bronze Cartel Wall Clock Not Running Note: All items in our store include NO sales tax to our US customers! Here is a great old French cartel wall clock for your buying consideration. Recently acquired it at an estate sale. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself. This clock probably dates to the early 1900s to as late as the early 1930s. Great looking patinated gilt solid bronze case on this one with a very nice gold colored finish. All the trim seems intact. I see no broken or repaired pieces. The top of the case has a bow on it. France" is inscribed on the back part of the bow topper. There is leafing on the metal case around the clock face. The finish on the clock appears to be original. Not redone which makes it more collectible and valuable. The clock face has a convex piece of glass ... moreover it that is intact in its' bezel. There is a hairline crack in the glass up by the roman numeral 10. See pic#8 to view. The bezel is still securely attached to the clock case. The finely engraved gold colored hands match and look appropriate to the clock. The enamel face of the clock looks great with just minor wear. Tiffany& Co" can be seen very prominently on the clock face above where the hands come out of the case and then"Paris" below the hands. Tiffany was the jeweler that sold this clock. Samuel Marti. Whom made the movement was most likely the maker of the clock. The roman numerals on the enamel clock face are black colored and the numbers are in black. The clock movement is French and made by Samuel Marti. It has the numbers"86" on the bottom middle of the movement. Has the Samuel Marti seal inscribed above this number with the award he won in a 1900 Paris exhibition for the movement. Made in France" is also inscribed in scroll on the back of the movement. Both of the springs feel sound when keyed. This is an 8 day key wound time and strike movement. When running. The clock will strike the brass bell once on the half hour and the

The wind up pendulum mechansim keeps good time and the time keeping can be adjusted if necessary by moving the weight at the bottom of the pendulum. Vincenti Clock 584 French Old Antique Movement Rare Vintage Watch Tool
Just found last weekend an original French Vincenti 584 brass clock movement works in great shape. I don't collect items like this so please write me at anytime with questions or more pictures. This piece looks just like the last Vincenti I just sold on Ebay last week however its not stamped with the name Vincenti. When I turn the the center shaft all the gears move smoothly. 3 1/4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches deep. 1 1/2 inches distance between the winding shafts. 1 inch between the winding shaft and center hour shaft. As Usual.No Reserve. Have a nice weekend. Sold as is due to the age!

Antique Friesian (French) Farmers Wall Clock. About 200 hundred plus years old.
This is an update as of Oct. 10.2012.I Purcase in antique shop in the Hague, Netherlands in early 1970's. I was told, at that time, the clock was over 100 years old. I received an e mail from an interested party indicating I was selling at too low a price. This week I had an Antique Wall Clock repair person come to my home to adjust and oil the clock. He told me the clock dates back to very late 1700's or very early 1800's. Face name is shown as F.RICQUE at top of face and below middle THE WORDS- a CHATEAUBERIAN. Clock face appears to be Porcelian, The copper relief surronds the face of the clock and also is the material for the Pendulum and the relief of both pieces are flowers painted and showing copper relief. Weights are iron and attached by heavy cord for winding. Clock comes with two KEY's to wind clock. There are metal ... moredoors on each side of clock box so you have access to clock moving parts. Clock is mounted at the back on wood and is painted black. I made a Cherry wall background to match the countour of the outline of the clock. The clock simply hangs on that Cherry 3/4 inch background wich attaches to wall. I show clock hanging on blank wall and on Cherry background. Because of advise from two people who seems to have knowledge about the clock I am raising the asking price. Buyer responsible for package/shipping/insurance.

Antique French Japy Freres Medaille D'honneur Figural Statue Clock. NICE LOOKER
Up for bids is this beautiful Antique Japy Freres. Medaille D'Honeur Figural Statue Clock in running condition, striking a Bell on the hours and half hour. 8 day time and strike. It's 17" tall with a 3 1/4" Porcelain Dial with a slight chip at the top of the Dial at the regulator square, hard to see, look at photo#11. Nice Alabaster in base of Clock. The movement is signed and the back of the case is signed also. It's been lacquered to prevent paint loss. The case is made of heavy Spelter with a heavy brass Bezel and rear door and has a nice convex Glass. Every thing about this clock is original except for the lacquered protection.
