ANTIQUE VICTORIAN TRIPLE SILVER PLATE TILTING PITCHER WITH FRAME - CIRCA 1870
This beautiful Victorian Tilting Pitcher was created between 1869 and 1876 by the Aurora Silver Plate Company. The pitcher is made of triple silver plate. Is double-walled for insulation, making it pretty heavy, weighing in at nearly 10 pounds. The bottom plate of the frame is removable to discard any water or condensation from the pitcher. The intricate Oriental hand-etched details are truly beautiful with floral patterns on the base. The main body of the pitcher is etched with a scene of Japan. Including stylized trees, a pagoda, and a sailing ship in the distance. There are many hidden creatures, rocks, and other treasures hidden in the intricate patterns. Also. There is a whimsical owl underneath the spout. DIMENSIONS: The tilting pitcher frame stands 21" tall x 11" in diameter. The pitcher itself is 12 1/2" tall x 11 1/2" ... morehandle to spout. CONDITION: Good to Very Good Antique Condition. There are a few subtle dents. As is expected from normal wear over 140 years, but nothing that takes away from the beauty of this piece. ANTIQUE ARCHITECTURAL DAY BED FRAME FIREPLACE SCREEN DIVIDER CARVED WOOD DRAGONS
We are pleased to offer this very unique. Architectural salvaged daybed frame. This old(mid to late 1800s) 2 section piece would make a beautiful and interesting fireplace screen, room divider, wall hanging or accent floor piece. It is very nice with a tall plant behind it. It is a constructed of solid wood(oak? panels with a carved, arched top section. The ends of each upper frame feature VERY DETAILED, carved wood, dragon heads. The heads have carved eyes, ears, nostrils and large incisor teeth/fangs. The two panels were, at one time, painted. There is some remaining OLD paint but most of it has worn and the wood is a natural color in these areas. The panels are footed. The original, front facing foot is the only"whole" foot as the others were side or back feet so they have a"sliced" profile. The original bolts, attachment ... morelock, brackets and hinges are still in place but could be removed. The unit is in good condition. There is some wear to the carved dragons, particularly to the ears as a couple of them have chipped. This is not distracting. This is a gorgeous piece. We have the matching unit available under a separate listing. It is the same except that it does not have a front"whole" foot. The piece can be displayed with a straight profile or it can be positioned as an"L" shape. The hinges(which are hidden in between the panels) allow for the unit to be folded. The frame measures 49" wide and 27" tall. IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY. Shipping via GREYHOUND with insurance provided for you. This is an antique purse frame and chain made out of solid German Silver. German silver is usually a silver alloy. Often combined with nickle but not always. This is solid and not silver plate. Originally a cloth or bead purse was attached. The frame has small holes all along the bottom so another purse the proper size can be sewn onto it. The outside is very tarnished and the inside still looks silver. I always leave cleaning up to the buyer so that I don't accidently effect the value of an antique piece. This is an Antique Wheeler& Wilson Treadle Sewing Machine Drawer Frame. It is for the left side but can also be mounted on the right side. All you need to do is relocated the stabilizing hook. The frame is solid. The finish is a little dry. There are some aged scuffs. Scratches and dings. The lock works and accept the square key. There is no key. The frame measures 5-5/8" x 9-3/8" x 13-1/4" deep. This will accept drawers that measure 4-3/8" wide x 3-7/8" tall and are 12-15/16" long not including the knobs or pulls. The drawer must have a notched guide on the bottom. It comes with 5 original mounting screws and a stabilizer hook. I can combine shipping with other similar sized drawers. Includes the original cast iron casters which all spin freely. No cracks. No chips and no repairs. All hardware is original. Miniature Brass Picture Frame Antique Vintage Oval Metal Beaded Edge Easel Small
This antique or vintage oval brass picture frame is 2 ¼ inches wide and 3 inches tall. And the viewable area is about 2 ½ inches tall and a little under 2 inches wide. It has a plain design with a beaded edge. And an easel back for standing. The back and glass just push out of the frame for inserting the picture. This is made from brass. Or a metal with a brass finish, I’m not sure which. The glass has quite a few chips around the edge which for the most part are covered by the frame. But there is one at the top that you can see if you are looking for it– see 2 photos with arrows of this one spot. It is more noticeable in the photos than it looks on the actual frame. AMAZING Antique 1920s BUTTERFLY & Botanical Display in Wood Frame UNIQUE!
One of a kind! This is an absolutely gorgeous antique display featuring butterflies and botanical specimens mounted on wool and framed under glass in a beautiful 1920s-era wood frame. Nicely designed. The display shows three butterflies above a collection of tiny flowers and stems with two arching grasses on either side. The tableau is set against a background of cream-colored wool fabric and the entire piece is preserved under glass in a lovely wood frame with raised floral decorations. Amazing! The back is covered in dark green felt and has little rubber feet on each corner. So it could be used as a tray. It also has a wire hanger, though, so it could also be hung and displayed. 1930's Vtg Antique 22 x 18 Picture Frame Unique. Plaster? Gesso? w/ alps print Offered is a unique 1930's vintage 22" x 18" picture frame. Frame is a cream color with beige accents in the rounded scalloped corners. A great frame to show off a special piece as opposed to the standard square or darker frames. Print is held in with nails and has wire for hanging. Backing has been taken off to check print. And taped back on. Picture shows exposed frame material which seems chalky. Print is signed"W.R. alps" in lower right corner. Frame is possibly plaster? gesso? from what the back looks like, but front of frame is a smooth paint type finish with raised decoration in the corners.
