4 Antique Corner Brackets, Screen Door or Picture Frame Support, Painted Brass
This is a set of 4 old matching corner brackets. These were used to hold together the corners of the screen door. Plus add a bit of decoration. These 4 are not magnetic, so are probably cast brass. They have been painted. The inside dimension of each side is about 2 1/4 inches, and the outer length of each side is closer to 3 inches.They are in very good condition without damage. These have a simpler design than some of the others we've seen, so would look nice with Arts& Crafts, rustic, or even contemporary design styles. These could also be used to hold together large picture frames.

This item was purchased from the estate of the previous owner who possessed it for 30 years. The family indicated that the engine and boiler were operational and in use when purchased but have only been on display for the past 30 years. We have run the engine on air and it functions nicely without problems. We are not steam boiler experts and have not fired the boiler and will leave that to the new owner. There are no logos. ID tags or markings on the engine that we can find. There is a piece of the engine mounting base broken and missing at a mount bolt hole and can be seen in the photos. The large engine oiler has had ... morea solder repair made and is shown in the photos. One of the side oilers is missing the drip glass. The governor belt is somewhat loose and not driving as it should. The boiler ash door is missing a hinge. We are not seeing any other problems so look at the photos carefully and we will be glad to try and answer questions or if you have information to provide, please do. The cart frame is made of 2-1/2" X 3-1/2" oak and measures 54" X 25-1/2" The outside width of the wheels is 32" and the front and back axles are 45" center to center. The front wheels are 8" X 2-1/2" and the rear are 12" X 2-1/2" From the ground to the top of the whistle is 77" and from the ground to the top of the boiler stack opening is 65" The boiler is 58" tall from the bottom of the ash box to the top of the stack opening. The boiler measures 18" X 44" and the fire box opening is 7" X 6" and the stack opening is 8" The boiler has 13 tubes 1-1/2" in diameter. The water pump piston is 1" in diameter. This is an exquisite antique 19th century family crest handmade patch. it is very large and has wonderfully ornate detailing. the two center pieces are made from velvet but have worn over the years. it is also trimmed with gold leather that is still in tact. has nice gold thread and is framed with a newer gold gilt ornate wooden frame. it sits over a maroon felt. the patch measures 8 by 6 1/4 inches. the frame measures 11 by 13 inches. rare patch. ANTIQUE FOLK ART OIL PAINTING DIORAMA NORWEGIAN WOODEN SHIP MODEL GOLD FRAME
OUTSTANDING This is an antique and most unique folk art diorama model and oil painting. Depicted is a three-masted Norwegian schooner flying the Norwegian flag. A name flag(which has come loose) called DERFLAP. And a third flag marked"HBT 1869" There is also an unmarked flag flying from atop the third mast. This is remarkably rendered by someone of significant ability. Talent and skill. Not only is the model superbly done but the oil painting is also very nice. All of the sails and ropes are done in relief and actually stand away from the background nearly 1.5" The boat is also detailed and well modeled. The diorama is about 2 1/4" deep and entirely painted in oil to create both the sky and land mass background. Please excuse the glare on the glass in the full scale photo taken in natural light. Window light is reflected. ... moreThe dimensions are as follows: overall frame: 21 X 30 1/2" frame& diorama total thickness: 3 3/4" front of frame to wall depth) glass: 15 X 24 1/2" diorama depth: ~ 2-2 1/4" schooner: ~ 12 X 19" to the tip of the front prow) The frame is a magnificent gold cast plaster on wood. It really is very detailed and in beautiful condition as the photos will illustrate. We believe this folk art work to be from the last half of the 19th century and it is apparently unsigned. There are two condition issues to note: there is an area where the oil paint is delaminating from the board(2-2 1/4" line as shown) It hasn't separated and fallen away but it is lifted some and is pulled away. Secondly. The ship's name flag, DERFLAP, has fallen off of the middle mast and is laying at the bottom of the diorama as photographed. The area where the flag WAS located can be detected in the oil paint at the top of the mast. Both of these conditions are reversible. This is a really beautiful elegant brass picture frame I ran across this past weekend at an estate sale. I have the privilege of living in a retirement mecca and am able to procure some very spectacular antique items from time to time. The photo had been removed from this frame and it was set back out on the dresser in the master bedroom for sale. I can't help but wonder what the photo was. This frame stands about 7 inches tall and about 6 inches wide. I would think that this would make an ideal picture frame for a woman to place a photo of herself in to share with her love interest. There is a fold out brass leg at the bottom center of the frame that supports it hand holds it upright. Antique Wood Saddle Form Primitive in construction.hand carved.very cool looking. Nice personality in the grain and knots in the wood as it makes up this saddle form. Measures 12" wide by 19" in length. In pretty good condition for a primitive piece after all these years! See photos for more info on condition. I tried taking as many different angles of this as I could and I took pictures in 3 different locations trying to get the best way to"show" this saddle. Photos 7. 8 and 9 are the bottom of the saddle when I flipped it over. On the bottom you can better see the primitive wood nails used to put this together. Photo#5 shows a cool knot in the wood that makes up part of the back of the saddle. I took a close up(photo 10) to show you the areas that the crafter of this saddle filled in with some type of wood puddy. There ... morea few such spots here and there where he did this. Antique proofing rule 225cm long in total cow bone with metal ends marked Loftus Maker 321 Oxford Street London to the side. Loftus made brewing equipment as well as mathematical and scientific instruments from the Oxford Street address from 1850 until sometime around 1940, I have seen one very similar to this dated c1860 so would think that this example dates to around that time It carries two sides of scales for use with a proofing device such as a hydrometer. On the top surface. The A scale runs from 6-30. The B scale runs 1-8. There is an unlabelled scale on the slide that runs 70-Proof(0) 70. On the other side all the scales are marked'C' The top C scale runs 300-60. The bottom C scale runs 100-20, the C scale on the slide runs 70-Proof(0) 70. Unfortunately it is not in perfect condition. It is warped at one end which means that ... morethe slide doesn't move in and out as freely as it should. There are also two small pink spots( picture five) on the top scale, some of the scales have'yellowed' more than others and there are minor marks commensurate with age and normal use. However, there are no chips or cracks and none of the bone is missing. The frame has a sticker on the back from the T. Eaton Co Limited of Montreal and a reference number(See pic) for the Picture Department. The frame measures roughly 12.25" long and 10.25" wide and is about 1.5" deep. In great condition for the age some scuffs and a chip off the bottom. Very solid and fairly heavy weighing almost 685 Grams.

A very nice and very heavy Antique wooden frame with a cross stitch inside featuring The Binding of Isaac scene from the Bible. I'm not 100% what type of wood the frame is but to me it does look like it has a wood veneer layer over solid wood. It is very heavy and quite thick(Roughly 2" with the rest of the frame measuring 19.25" x 15" Very nice gold trim inside a layer of thick glass. The back of the frame adds a lot of character with the thick slab wood backing and the old clippings of newspaper attached to the back. Also from the pictures you can see that it has been repaired a couple of times. The frame has the usual wear and tear aside from that with nothing else too major. Weighs just over 2.5 KG.

This auction is for a very old carved mahogany frame with the very old"wavy glass" over a pretty print from Scotland. The colors and details on this print is good for it being close to 100 years old or older. The Frame is the Star of this Auction. It has pretty floral carving on each side with the corners looking similiar to a Greek Key design. The frame is in Good overall condition but not excellent or mint. It has some scuff marks and scratches on the frame. But not that many considering it's age& travels. This is a nice group of six antique plaster intaglios. All in yellow paper surrounds with hand-written numbers on the side. These have been professionally mounted on a blue board set in a silver wood frame with no glass. It measures 8 inches wide by 22 1/2 inches long. These are all in very good condition. Antique Still Life Print in a Beautiful Oak Frame Arts and Crafts Era
This is an antique still life in a beautiful oak frame. The entire thing is 23.5" x 13.50" and the frame is 2" wide. The print is in good condition but it is just a slight bit wavy in spots. It is not noticeable behind the glass. The frame. Which is my favorite part was in really good condition, but when I was taking these pictures I noticed a little chip on one corner, not visible from the front, only if you look directly at it from the side. I am going to take a picture of it but I am having trouble with my camera right now. If I were to keep it I would cover it with a wood stain pen. I am quoting standard or parcel post because it is much cheaper but I you are interested in the picture and want it faster I will be happy to give you a shipping quote.
