Antique Alabaster and Metal 3 Way Floor Lamp Lighted Base Lrg 16 Glass Shade
This is a beautiful vintage/antique Art Deco Nouveau floor lamp with alabaster accents and lighted base in absolutely beautiful condition. The pictures really do not do it justice. Stands 64.5" tall. The base is about 12" wide. The lamp is very heavy and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Bronze tone heavy cast metal(not cast iron) ornate base. Stem and ornate shade holder with beautiful light toned cream colored alabaster accents on the stem and base with swirls of brown and red in them. The cream color glass torchiere shade is just under 16.5" wide and made of very thick glass. It is has a floral embossed pattern around the top rim. It is in excellent shape with only some slight chips around the bottom rim where it has rubbed against its fitting into the metal stem which is commiserate with normal vintage/antique wear. I’ve had this gorgeous lamp for many. Many years and always loved it, but now I’m downsizing so it has to go. The shade is a goldish color and is ½” thick glass detailed with embossed flowers around its perimeter. The interior is white. The shade measures 16” in diameter. 5” in height and weighs 5.4 lbs. The lamp body is made of beautifully detailed patina’d metal in a striking Art Nouveau design and the base is accented with marble. The height is 62” Not including the shade. There is a slight crack to part of the decorative metal collar at the base of the pole as shown in the photos, but this does not affect the lamp’s functionality…I’ve always turned the crack so it faces the wall. Antique 18th / 19th Century Ornate French Wrought Iron Candle Stand Floor Lamp
This listing is for a Late Eighteenth or Early Nineteenth Century adjustable height candlestand with ornate hand forged scroll work. It measures 50.6" tall. I think its from France due to the intricate decoration. I am unsure as to what type of candle holder would've been affixed to the hooks on the slider. Around the upper connection point of the scrolls. There are a few small spots of shiny brass metal where the scrolls are squeezed into the disk that holds them. The other disk above this is missing several small ornaments, and the candle stand sits somewhat crooked(I didn't want to risk damaging it by bending it back, but it could easily be bent straight) This candle stand has its rich original surface, and looks to be untouched- gorgeous color. Note that there is a little collar where the twisted section connects to the smooth ... moresection. The collar is tight, but I had to slide it up to see what was in there. It is a joint with two pins, and the two metal shaft portions are hammered tight, and actually forged together at the bottom of the joint. This is a beautiful vintage converted wood lamp post from the 40's! The wood is hand carved and the glass globes are etched! All original and very well preserved! There are a few scratches on the base to make it appear normal. It was purchased in Chicago and said to be in the home of al capone! I have had it in a non smoking environment for over 30 years. The beautifully sculptured wood has been preserved with a coating to keep it looking very high end and natural. The globes have never been broken scratched or repaired! Antique Wicker (original finish) Floor Lamp, Oval Shade
This lamp was stored away in one attic or another at least since the 1950's. Judging by the stype. I would guess that is from the 1920's. I have done nothing to it but wipe off the worst of the dust. As I am afraid any aggressive cleaning/refinishing might reduce its value. The wicker is in good shape, and the finish appears to be original. There is a cloth liner inside the shade which should be replaced. The wiring, of course, needs to be redone. There is a place for two light bulbs and two pull chains under the shade. There is no electric cord as someone appears to have cut it off at the base a long time ago. The shade is 28 inches long by 17 inches wide by about 11 inches high. The base is about 66 inches tall. With the pedestal about 19 inches wide. I suppose this could be shipped. But I think it would be better for it to be picked ... moreup, because it is fragile. I am putting down local pickup only under the shipping section. Fabulous. Unique piece of American Victorian lighting. This floor lamp should be seen to get the full impact of the massive and unusual base. This is not the ordinary stick type floor lamp that you may have encountered in antique shops or s een in lighting collections from the early 1900's. Although the shade is not original to the base. The lines of it are a lovely compliment to the lines at the base of the lamp. The shade has a crown piece which may be used. But I prefer the look without it. A couple of minor flaws with the shade are noted. These are in the bottom row of the stained glass. One piece is cracked. But secure in its location. Two small triangular breaks in the glass have been repaired. These can be seen in the photos. They are secure in their place and only detectable upon close inspection. Milcast Vintage Swing Arm Brass Floor Lamp Description This is a very ornate vintage art deco/ nouveau era bridge arm brass lamp that needs some TLC and NEEDS TO BE REWIRED. I will have to ship the post& the parts separately. I Have no box that will fit all the parts and it should be considerably less expensive to ship them this way. The heavy part will all fit in a Large Priority Flat Rate Box and the post I can fit into a poster type box. I am leaving the parts on the cord so that you will have no problems putting it back together. If you do not want the post I can ship the parts only and you could possibly find a post in a hardware store. I am including pictures of the lamp assembled so that you can see how nice it looks. The post just screws into the base on the bottom and into the arm at the top and everything just slides over the ... morepost. This is very easy to assemble and does not require any tools. The Lamp Details The square base has a foot on each corner that keeps it raised off the floor which also gives it room for the cord to pass through. I think the brand is called“MILCAST” and on the opposite side it has M G– 70 stamped on the bottom. The square base has flower in a square box above each foot. It has some very pretty designs on the top of the base and going up from the base about 7” it has a kind of cylindrical cone shape design. About halfway up 31” it has another decorative piece in a kind of footed floral design. Towards the top it has a spiked piece where the arm attaches to the lamp post. The two pieces that make up the major portions of the lamp post is in a square shape and these two pieces are made of a lighter weight metal, The arm is a very ornate piece with a lion situated in the center top. The cord comes out of the hole in the post and through the center of the arm where you can't really notice it. The socket that the bulb goes in screws onto the part of the arm that goes downwards. This item appears to be part of the bridge of an ornate antique floor lamp. It depicts a coat of arms topped by a plumed helm. With three mascules on a bend sinister separating two fleurs-de-lis. While this item is an excellent piece to use in restoring a bridge lamp. It would display beautifully on its own if attached to a heavy wood or marble base. It would also make an eye-catching finial for a large table or floor lamp. This item is in as-found. Uncleaned condition, and has a beautiful patina. I happen to know that this great company have been responsible for creating quality turn of the century receptacle fixtures since the early years of 1888. You can adjust the light socket to come in or go out with a turn of a toggle nut. The lamp is turned on and off with a slide at the socket. The cord is approx.142"long and come into the light socket allowing you to drape it around or through the lamp anyway you would like. The cord is not original to the lamp and looks fairly new and in good condition. Lamp is in very good condition. Works great. Base does have some White paint speckles on it. There is some scratches in the paint and base feet are just starting to show rust. Lamp is in need of good cleaning.

ANTIQUE EMPIRE STYLE CAST BRASS FLOOR LAMP BASE 11 PIECES
OK. I do not plan on shipping the rod which holds these pieces together. if you look at photo 3 you will see a plain area between two spacers, this piece is where the top longest rod connects to a smaller rod which holds base together, but it is completely rusted tight inside that plain spacer, I have tried just about everything I can think of to separate it but it won't budge.there is no decorative tube that slides over the top rod anyway. so feel it would be sort of a waste of time and extra money to ship it also. but if you should feel different I could do it. so the 11 pieces I am talking about are 5= short spacers, one decorative tube piece which is under the center piece, 2=wide base pieces that sit atop the marble and the very base, the marble looking piece which sits attop the Griffon piece, and the base which is what the tube ... moreactually screws into there is no nut it is built into the base. the feet on the base are round brass disc's. this is a very old piece and was a very expensive piece in its day. when I first got this it was very corroded and dirty. I cleaned it enough to tell what it was made of.but it still needs cleaning and restoring, there are some pits or dings etc. that will need possible polishing or whatever to restore, but I believe it is all possible.It is very heavy weights over 11 lbs by its self. which is why I said sending along the rod would only increase the shipping cost due to its length. but if you would prefer that it can be done.when all together the hole thing is 8 1/2" tall that is without the plain connecter piece, this will be a beautiful lamp, course I do not know what the top part would have looked like.I know I can fit this into a large flat rate box which will help with shipping cost. I don't seem to have a medium flat rate box available to check that also I cannot remember how wide the box is but will get one when I go to post office next and if it will work will change it to medium flat rate box. This is an Empire style piece.
