For your consideration is an electric floor lamp from the early-mid 20th century. It certainly has a vibe. I can see no evidence of how a shade would have attached or been used and it appears to be all original. The fixture does swivel and the switch/chain works really well. The power cord. As you can see, is short. The AC plug, and maybe the cord, has definitely been replaced; could be the original cord cut at a break and an end installed.the end is period. Painted Blue and Pink Opaque Glass Shade for Antique Arm or Floor Lamp Globe
This is an unusual frosted or opaque shade or globe. It has light blue on the top and bottom and flowers painted pink. It has a nice raised design with a fluted or lined design and a decorative raised border around the bottom. It is 5 1/4 inches tall. The top opening is 2 1/4 outside and 1 7/8 inches inside diameter. The bottom opening is 4 1/8 inches outside and 3 3/4 inside diameter. The bottom edge has 2 chips on the inside of the ridge. The outside of the glass is still there the chip is inside. This is a gorgeous Art Deco style Torchiere Candelabra floor lamp. The lamp is definitely at least vintage but possibly antique. The candlestick sleeves are all intact. With no cracks or breaks. They are definitely discolored but again it’s an old lamp. The torchiere shade feels like it's aluminum with a brown painted finish and the post has a brass patina but it definitely has magnetic attraction and it has a bit of finish wear. From an old Door County. Wisconsin, estate, the lamp appears to be unsigned but it is clearly well made and of a great design. Stands 60 inches high with a shade that measures about a foot long. The lamp is wrought iron with a multi-color variegated finish that is very old and may be original. The shade is comprised of shell ... morepanels which give a great look when the lamp is illuminated, as you can see by the image taken in the dark! CONDITION: The lamp base is in very good condition. One of the brazes where a diagonal support meets one of the animal paw foot legs is loose. But it does not affect the sturdiness of the lamp. The shade has a few small nicks in the shell and a hole in the shell where it appears to have been punctured by the leaf ornamentation on the standard while being moved or something. That hole is on the back side by the pole and does not detract from the lamp as it is normally viewed. As you can see by the close-up of the shade where the ring suspends it from the forged hanging hook, the old cloth cord is frayed and should be replaced to avoid the risk of electrical shock before plugging the lamp in. In fact. We may have to cut the cord in order to pack the shade safely within a separate internal box in order to avoid damage while the lamp is in transit. Antique/ Vintage Chrome and Slag Glass Torchiere Candelabra Floor Lamp This attractive floor lamp is in excellent condition. Not pitted or spotted. It appears to have been rewired with modern cord. I have tested the 3 candelabra bulbs. Which work, but I did not have an adapter to test the center Mogul bulb socket. That socket holds a larger bulb that can still be bought, or an adapter can be found at Home Depot or Lowes so it will take a regular size bulb. It worked when I last used the lamp, approximately 6 years ago. It’s been in safe storage since. 57”H. Base is 11” diameter. The heavy decorative footed chrome base is topped with slag agate glass. Antique Art Nouveau Mutual Sunset Table / Floor Lamp Metal Mesh 9 Sided Shade
This is an authentic antique perforated mesh shade from the Mutual Sunset Lamp Company. This very large metal shade features a beautiful Art Nouveau female design on each panel. The shade is a 9-panel design and measures about 8 inches tall. It's about 18 inches wide at the bottom of the shade and about 14 inches wide at the top. I took pictures of the struts where they are attached to the frame of the shade. It appears that some of them might have been repaired. The shade does show some signs of wear. Which should be expected for an item that's close to 100 years old. But I took pictures of all the panels of the shade so you can see for yourself that it's still in very nice condition. ANTIQUE TORCHIERE FLOOR LAMP DECORATIVE METAL ONYX w/ART GLASS SHADE
This is a fantastic antique torchiere floor lamp with many hard-to-find details; ornate baroque cut-out design top and base. Chip and crack-free beautifully marbled onyx over base. It uses the original large mogul(three-way) socket. Due to inquiries. I am not offering free shipping in the US disassembled. The lamp will be in 14 pieces and need to be rewired as the cord has to come out to take it apart. Of course local pickup is free in Brooklyn NY. The condition is very good. Normal wear and tear for it's age. It's been in my family for nearly a century. The onyx on the base looks excellent. The included bulb needs to be replaced. Very nice 1900-1920 Art Deco dream lamp! It has stunning sky scraper like stepping on the top of the pole and a wonderful Deco design on the base like we have never seen before. Extremely deep and detailed designs with no pitting or cheap molding. This was a good one in its day. The fit and finish is wonderful! The wiring is fresh and the ceramic mogul socket has been inspected and is clean and safe to use. It measures 59" tall and has a 14" long arm on it. The bronze bust piece is 13" tall. This one is in stunning condition. No bends. No major chips nor cracks. No surprises, good quality build. It includes a brand new oiled brass socket, one of the best ones we could get. New heavy gauge cloth cord. Oiled brass fitter and period correct Bakelite plug as well. All the rest of the parts are original. Up for auction is a wonderful original condition example of the 1930's Jousting Knight bridge floor lamp in perfect working order. This is a rare lamp and very ornate with details at every inch. The top is a fancy horse riding knight in full armor and at a fast gallop. The lamp pole is detail pattern pressed octagonal brass with a small rose colored marble ball at the center. The base is heavy cast iron with a fancy repeating curtain pattern and lion paw feet. I don't see any breaks or missing pieces in the fragile cast iron. I am offering two shade options. This is definitely original 60's or 70's It shows some corrosion on the chrome legs& some scuffs& scratches. I think it had a cover that was originally on the front of the light. The plug is the original& still works. The fabric around the cord is slightly fraying at the plug. The light can be adjusted from: 32 inches tall. Down to 22 inches tall. Both leg adjuster& light angle adjuster work great with no issues. I'm not sure the brand. NO REPAIRS, NOTHING HAS BEEN BEEN DAMAGED OR BROKEN. THE AGE OF THE LAMP IS A GUESS BUT I ACQUIRED IT APPROXIMATELY 50-YEARS AGO AND IT WAS CONSIDERED AN ANTIQUE THEN. THERE ARE NO MARKINGS ON THE LAMP TO INDICATE WHO MANUFACTURED IT. THIS INFORMATION MIGHT HAVE BEEN ON PAPER TAGS THAT HAVE LONG SINCE FALLEN OFF. THE ONLY MARKING IS A NUMBER ON THE HEAVY METAL BASE PLATE BELOW THE WOOD BASE. THE NUMBER IS 604. THIS METAL BASE PLATE IS NOT VISIBLE WHEN THE LAMP IS STANDING. RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH ART NOUVEAU IRON VINE IN BRASS EPERGNE VASE FLOOR LAMP 61"
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. And somewhat rare, antique floor lamp. This towering(61" lamp dates to the early 1900s and features superb details in French Art Nouveau style. The lamp features scrolled wrought iron with an opened, birdcage base. There are 3 blooms on the base which can be used to house taper candles. A large, brass epergne vase extends from the base to about mid point of the lamp. The vase is bronze colored with some muted golden highlights. Gesso accents are present on the vase as well, though some of the gesso has come off over the years. There are 5 tall, willowy vines emerging from the vase. Three of the vines have ribbed leaves and the two tallest vines have smooth leaves. The blooms on the vines house the sockets. The lamp is quite striking and very sculptural in appearance. It is not marked but it is ... moreof very fine quality. It is in good, antique condition. As stated earlier, there is missing gesso in some areas. The iron has a slight rusted patina in some areas. The wiring is very old and, while working, needs to be addressed. The lamp is designed for regular, 100w light bulbs(not the small, candelabra style) This is a beautiful lamp with graceful, elegant lines and form. The lamp is 61" at the tallest vine. Being offered for sale. Is an antique, floor lamp w/ glass shade made by" Artistic Brass& Brz Works N.Y.C. It is a beautiful. Ornate piece. There is some corrosion on the base of the lamp which I believe can be removed quite simply using the proper cleaning agent. The glass shade is in very nice condition and does not have any chips or cracks. The only thing that's worth noting mechanically about the piece, is that the beaded pull string seems to be stuck. When plugged in, the light immediately turns on, but I cannot get the light to turn off. Perhaps, this is as simple as applying a lubricant, or the pull string being rewound/ re-fastened. Whatever it is, I can't imagine it's too complicated to fix. At it's tallest point in the arch, the lamp measures approximately 57" tall. This is an old floor lamp by Sight Light Corp New York. It still has the old copper/porcelain light socket inside. It has been rewired. It was originally aluminum/silver colored. I painted it a gold color. It was looking kind of rough. I believe this is from the 1940s or possibly 1950s. I also think that it used to have a top shade. It stands about 39" tall. Vintage/Antique Italian Deruta Pottery Floor Vase/Umbrella Stand Lamp -Tuscany
Listing is for a vintage/antique Italian Deruta(majolica? floor vase/urn/umbrella stand? That has been made into a lamp. This piece was made in Tuscany and signed and stamped on bottom by the facility/maker. But I honestly cannot tell what it says. There's the"Italy, Tuscany" stamp, which is obvious. The there's something etched that goes 1/2 way around the entire bottom lip of it. There's also what appears to be 4 initials or a short name in the glaze on the bottom. I've researched and still come up stumped, but if you should have an idea, there's enough of it there I think if I knew what I was looking for, you can message me and Ill see if it matches whatever your idea is. I simply don't know any Deruta Pottery makers from the 1930's to 1950's which is when I believe this was made. There are 2 wonderful ... morelion heads which I initially mistook for suns. Lol. This piece is big. It measures about 18" tall by 9.5" at the opening on top. There are a few chips. Mainly on the top rim. The worst 2 Ive got in one of the pictures. Very nice early 20th century Art Deco dream lamp. This is a one of a kind! The 7 inch real Nautilus shell is spotless. A very stunning hand picked specimen. This is by far one of our best looking creations. The shell hangs from a 58 inch tall brass bridge arm. This lamp arm and base are in good condition and only shows minor discolorations assuring you of its old age. All this topped off with fresh cloth wiring and a period correct Bakelite plug.
