The casting on this piece was clearly done by a fine blacksmith. It is smoth and very skillfully done. It is a tall piece measuring 61" tall and is in exceptional condition. Old Adjustable Floor Lamp This is a wonderful old floor lamp with its original paddle switch socket. I love the Arts& Crafts style design on the piece above the base. This lamp is in the condition that I found it. The metal has a wonderful patina. The socket is marked Paiste 250W 250V. The bakelite switch has some wear and I can't make out a marking on it. There is a form number on the bottom that I have shown in a photo. I haven't been able to identify a maker. The base looks pretty good for its age with few blemishes. The lamp is quite heavy for its size. I tested this with a few light bulbs. It will flicker on at times so I think there may just be a loose connection at the socket or plug. The lamp adjusts from about 38" at the arc in the arm to 55" tall. The base is about 9" in diameter. The lady told me that she and her Mother had painted the base, top and middle section back in the 60's when she was a child. It has a nice tulip shaped shade with a rose pattern. ANTIQUE 1882 BRADLEY & HUBBARD PIANO FLOOR KEROSENE OIL LAMP GWTW ELECTRIFIED
We are pleased to offer for your consideration this extraordinarily beautiful PIANO FLOOR LAMP made by BRADLEY& HUBBARD sometime between 1888 and 1892. On the oil filler cap it is stamped"B& H" pictured) for Bradley& Hubbard and the brass burner is stamped in 3 different places"PAT'D MARCH 27 1888" JULY 26 1892" and"AUG 30 1892" It is a stunning lamp with a 3 legged twisted cast wrought iron stand which is painted black and it does have a few spots of paint lose along the edges. The cast metal post is adjustable which extends the lamp up to about 6 1/2 feet in heighth. Also on the center post is the 13" diameter black tray with a leaf type patterned designed edge. Note on the top of the tray is a stain which looks like it may have been from a cup or glass which I have not tried to remove ... moreand will leave for the new owner to deal with. The brass oil font is surrounded by a beautiful black wire metal scrolling and it has 6 cast wrought iron arms that match the legs. There is a float level guage in the oil font and it moves freely but unable to tell if it is accurate because the font doesnt hold oil because it has been drilled for electrical wire. The lamp has been electrified and it has a pull chain switch on the underneath side of the font to control the light socket. I am not a lamp repair man but it may be able to be returned to an original oil lamp without to much trouble if so desired? The lamp globe is a lovely pastel green with a shade of pink or salmon on the top and it has a bowl of 3 beautiful hand painted pink roses and rose buds with green stems and leaves on the front. The top and bottom rims of the globe have a few minor nicks from being placed on and of the lamp over the years and it has a small lightly faded spot about 1 1/2" long to the left side of the painted roses. The globe is about 10" in diameter and it has a 14" tall clear glass chimney included. The lamp stands about 70" with the chimney in place and of course as men

Antique 65" WOODEN FLOOR LAMP Hand-Painted JAPANESE GEISHA Scene +PAISLEY Shade
This is really an AMAZING working vintage lamp! The main painting on this lamp. At about belly-height, is of a Geisha. Seems to be 3-color, possibly 4. She is about 9" tall, 3" wide. There is also a 2-color design opposite her, but I don't know what it is- possibly marine life or aquatic fowl. At the bottom are 2 leafy designs with what might be bird footprints or possibly a Japanese character. And then there are some markings on the top portion of the lamp. Which might be some kind of maker's mark, or a random design- they look too similar and well placed to be stray marks. The paint at the base does look more likely to be stray paint or even a couple of moderate spills of paint, so you might choose to cover over that, but it is the same paint used in the art, and not markings made by a secondary owner. Very nice real and ... morethick wood! Several spots of nice craftsmanship on the wood. Includes the very nice lamp shade which has a 3-color design which is like an Asian-style Paisley on red cloth on paper. Has a metal finial. Lamp stands about 65" tall and weighs about 8 lbs. Shade is just over 12" tall. 9" diameter at top, 15" at base. Lamp is about 2.5" in diameter at widest point; base is about 12" diameter. Overall in very good condition. The finish is still nice. The structural integrity is perfect, the lamp works and you can see the intricate designs. However, there are little dings, dents, scrapes, and wear up and down, as you might expect. You know, probably from backing up chairs or walking into it, opening drawers into it, or kids, pets, who knows? Everyday kind of stuff. Not much of it affects the artwork, but then again, the artwork is probably only on 25% of the lamp, so I guess it equates out. It is also a little dirty- I will clean it as best I can before shipping but there will probably be some detailing that would need to be done to get it to the top level it could be. This lamp is a unique one of a kind piece. It is made from repurposed parts to make a unique design that is similar to something from Restoration Hardware. The main body of the lamp is a SS White Industrial Cast Iron Dental Drill Treadle. It has original paint and a unique patina on the cast iron. Steel and brass parts. The SS White Drill is nearly complete(only missing the belt and drill itself) which is hard to find. This body piece is from the turn of the century(dated 1870s to early 1900s) The treadle still works too! The turn wheel on the drill arm is a slate material that is slightly chipped. All piece of the arm still move up and down. The army itself can sit on a 135 degree angle from the base or it can sit at a perfect 90 degrees. It also rotates 360 degrees. This makes it very customizable and it can easily reach over a desk or ... moretable. A repurposed green lamp shade and brass lamp ring were used to keep the great design and look of an industrial piece. The shade is painted white on the inside and green on the outside and is aluminum or a heavy tin. The electrical parts are all new reproductions of vintage style. There is a new brass lamp socket(250W/250V) with a similar dark brass patina. Also there is a black inline toggle switch(3 amp industrial look) to go with the black cloth wrapped electrical cord. This is an antique floor lamp with an Imported Pedrara marbled onyx over base. The condition is good. Some flaws; the finish on the base is worn and there are some chips in the paint, but there is no pitting(shown in the photos) There are no cracks or other damage and the light works. Antique Large Wrought Iron Floor Piano Oil Lamp Early Cranberry Gas Light Shade
This is a Fantastic and very large Wrought Iron Piano Oil Lamp. This lamp is very big and very heavy it is also very old my guess is 1850 or 60s. It has a really great 5" fitter Cranberry gas light shade that has a floral pattern all the way around. I'm not sure what they called the way this pattern was applied but it was done I believe in the 1840s and 50s. What eve they did the application travels all the way to the top lip. It also has an interesting shape.The lamps base is 3 twisted bars up the sides os the center shaft the tree legs are also twisted bars with hammered feet. When you pull it to the top it has a button on the side to release it and bring it down. It heavy so the shade needs to come off when you raise and lower it. All the way down it is 61 1/2" to top of shade it raises up to 77 1/2" also to top of shade ... moreas I said it is very big! The total weight is 24.4 pounds. There are a couple of issues it was electrified at one point and the font has a small repair on the bottom. they also made a small hole in the font holder that has also been repaired and done well because I have a hard time finding it. It is a functional oil lamp it just needs a wick and some oil, and the chimney is not the proper size fitter it works but the fitter size needs to be a bit larger I just do not have one so it should be changed to a larger fitter at some point. This will need to be shipped in an over size box hopefully it breaks down a bit! It is the largest Wrought Iron Piano I have ever seen but it is fantastic and would look fabulous in a country style home. Thank you for your interest!
