A nice vintage"medium" size barn cupola from a barn roof in rural Syracuse. Nebraska. Measures 46 1/2" square and about 12 foot tall. Is attached and stands on four 4x4 wood lumbers. Some rusted out spots near crown, underneith, could be primed and stopped. About 10 bullet holes in total. The weathervane is present and removeable. Cast iron& copper weathervane. The animal from the fin of the weathervane is missing. But another may be attached. I supplied the two vintage blue glass balls. Antique MARITIME NAUTICAL SHIP LANTERN Red Glass Copper & Brass
Up for bids is a great marine piece- an antique ship lantern. This nautical lantern is made of brass and copper metals and a beautiful piece of red onion glass. It has a sloped top which keeps water and rain from the inside of it. The red onion glass is encompassed by protective brass pieces which prevent it from being damaged when it swings. This lantern also has both the top pivoting brass hanger. AND the bottom one. I see very few of these lanterns that were made with these, and if so they no longer have the bottom one. At some point someone has removed the kerosene drum/holder and started the process of making this electrical. I have not attempted to complete this. It is fitted with a very simple bulb holder and a turning switch which still turns and clicks. This has in no means detracted from the beauty of this lantern and will make ... moreit simpler to electrify if someone chooses to do so. This lantern is in fantastic vintage condition. It has wear associated and common with its age but overall really nice! If someone chooses to polish this it will shine like new. The glass is in very good condition. It has some wear marks. Rough spots, or minor chipping on the rims/edges but no breaks. The wear is only from where it is fitted into the copper ends. These marks are not seen or noticable when the lantern is put together. The glass itself has some air bubbles but only visible upon close examination. The sloped top has several small dents in it. The two copper caps look very good and I do not see any dents or tears in them. The brass hangers and glass protectors have only age patina to them but otherwise perfect. The measurements of this lantern is 25 1/2" when hanging from the top of the hanging attachment to the tip of the bottom attachment. The glass is approx. 6 1/2" high by 8 1/2" around. I've taken this apart to show the insides of the pieces and the area where the electrical work was started. Also. When I ship it will come separated like this. Very, very simple to put together and take apart

Very old and large Arts& Crafts Mission style candlestick made of copper and brass. This antique metal candle holder is eight-sided and stands 8.5" tall on a 2.75" diagonal octagonal base. And weighs 1 lb. 5 oz. The shaft is sheathed in copper and the top and bottom rims are brass with utilitarian rivets on four of the sides. The underside is covered in what appears to be old duct tape with the interior of the shaft filled with a material like plaster to give it weight. With each sleeve having a progressively smaller and smaller mesh further down the stack. All copper with heavy patina. It's two pieces: A top sleeve with a screen. And a bottom pan. It's in overall decent condition, but it has a few cracks on the bottom rim of the top sleeve(see photos) It's in otherwise good condition with only light wear. It's about 6 1/4 in. tall overall. I recently acquired a private and personal COLLECTION of COPPER ANTIQUE LETTERPRESS PRINT BLOCKS that I will be listing over the next few weeks. I have done some research on them and found that they are all related to an Ad campaign by INDIAN GASOLINE& OIL. TEXACO or HAVOLINE OIL. These Letterpress Blocks are done by highly skilled artisans/ Engravers and each represents a different scene and story line for the Ad. All were produced by"Syndicate Advertising Co. of New York who were the chief Ad Agency for Indian Gasoline& Oil in those days. Indian Gas& Oil's office at that time was also in Manhattan just a few blocks away. The Blocks were shipped in a small. Addressed envelope and accompanied by a 3 Cent Stamp for Postage. The Individual who all the Blocks were sent to was named HENRY S. BIR of LA GRANGE. INDIANA. I have ... morelearned in my research that Mr. Bir was a prominent business man back in the day. He owned a number of businesses including his"BIR GAS& SERVICE STATION" as well as the"BIR GARAGE HOTEL" In addition. Mr. Bir was head of the INDIANA BUSINESS EXCHANGE(a Civic Club for Businessmen) and was even active in the organization on a National Level. There are about 50 different Blocks in the collection. Each has a different scene and would have delivered a different Ad message. Originally. When mailed, the Block was accompanied by a small Paper/ Ad slick which shows a print copy of the Letterpress in the mailer and an accompanying storyline and Ad featuring the Letterpress. Double handles, ribbed pedestal base& lid. The silver Hallmark on the underside of the base is that of Theodore Starr Silversmiths. New York, New York. MEASUREMENTS are 10-1/4 inches high(with lid) x 22-1/2 inch diameter(not counting handles which add 3 inches) CONDITION The outside of the cooler and lid is shiny with no loss of silver. Great looking brass& copper vase from late 1800s or early 1900s stamped with Russian Imperial mark. Writing in Cyrillic- TULA. About 15 1/2 in tall. Top is about 6 3/8 in across and bottom is about 5 1/2 in.

Antique/Vintage Arts& Crafts Copper Hat Pin w/ Stylized Monogram(ON or OZ or NO or ZO) Description: A great antique/vintage hat pin from the Arts& Crafts era. The head of the pin is copper. And is in the form of a large hexagon shape with turned corners. Impressed in the copper is a stylized monogram, with a O and either a Z or N. The head is attached to a steel pin. The pin is marked on the back in small, hand-written black letters, the catalog number from a museum. It is part of the museum collection of hat pins that was recently deaccessioned which I am offering this week. Measurements: 10" long Head- 1 3/4" long x 1 3/8" wide Condition: Very good.
