Antique Rivited Copper & Brass Fire Extinguisher Guardene by PYRENE Vintage
You are bidding on a vintage/ antique Guardene Fire Extingushier. There are rivets holding it together down the back. So I think that this means it is older. It is non-metallic, and I think it is of brass and copper construction, but I do not collect them, so you may know more that I do. It was made by PYRENE Manufacturing Co. in New York. It's a 2 1/2 gallon, water filled model. It measures about 24 1/2" high. There is nothing inside of it when you unscrew the top, but there is some type of pressure bulb(shown) when you unscrew the top. The hose is included, but it's brittle. It was last Hydro-Tested in January, 1972, so it has to be well over 40 years old. Origin region is Middle East Qajar Persian. Islamic This is an original work of art. Not a cheesy reproduction. Solid Copper base, hand formed(you can see all the little hammer strikes when looking closely) and engraved with an array of intricate artwork typical of Qajar quality. A COPPER LUSTRE PITCHER WITH REAL PERSONALITY! HEY COLLECTORS! Fresh to the market this week is first time listing of a genuine early period 19th c English Copper Lustre Pitcher of goodly size with all the bells and whistles one could look for in one piece; highly lustrous shiny irridescent glaze. Applied polychrome tactile figures to the blue mid body band; beaded and ribbed body; a Mythical Face peering out from under the spout in relief, and overall, mint excellent condition. The pitcher stands five inches tall and three inches across the open top. It is unmarked on the bottom. Just more and plenty shiny deep copper overglaze as you can see from tilted picture, and true colors as taken on a recent spring day in natural daytime sunshine; what you see is accurate. On the blue band is a left and riight applied figural raised decoration of ... moremaidens in pink and orange gowns playing with spotted brids on a fence and central under the spout. Is a cluster bouquet of an orange, 2 lemons, and a pink morning glory flower with foliage. The beading twin rows is distinct and sharp, as are the ribbed rows along base for eye appeal, and the handle is slight ribbed. The under-face is just a nice extra touch and you can see the profile provided. The deep copper glaze wraps around to the interior cavity by two inches. Condition Report: Overall untouched. Unrepaired excellent condition. I see no hairlines or chips. For the sake of ulitmate accuracy, there is a white spot size of pencil tip on Pink Lady's shoulder of gown, may be a glaze flake or misfire, but been there the entire time. I carried this back from Florida on an airline flight having found it down there. Noting many good antiques go South with retirees saving the best for last, and then they come back North to make another Collector happy all over again! This listing is for an authentic vintage antique collector's sample of barbed wire fencing. This wire features a Joseph F. Glidden patent. Dated November 24, 1874. This wire is called"Glidden's Two-Point Steel Barb on Two Copper Plated Lines" by collectors. ref. Hagemeier 398-B) This wire features two twisted together line wires. Both line wires are copper plated. Barbs are two pointed, made from steel stock. Barbs are made by wrapping the barbing wire twice around one of the two lines. Wire sample is a minimum of 18" in length. It shows age and use wear, with moderate to heavy pitting of barbs. There are six barbs, well spaced, and cut is well centered. There is some bending of points, but no broken points. Portion of line wire has been buffed to show copper. Wire is in good used condition. Antique Copper and Brass Coal Bucket - Arts & Craft Look
This listing is for a g orgeous. Old, coal bu cket I bought at a charity sale a few weeks ago. It's copper with brass bands and has a definite arts and crafts feel to it. The interior looks to be tin lined. One interesting feature is the handle hinge in the shape of a leaf. It's about 10" high(to the top of the bucket) and 11" wide and in good condition for a very old item. I haven't touched the patina because I prefer it this way. The bucket would make a stunning vase for flowers. I'm happy to consider all offers.

This is a gorgeous old double frame! Has lots of wonderful thick and raised gesso designs! Floral and acanthus leaves in gilded copper on the outer frame. Vines and tree branch in gilded gold on the inner frame. Outer frame measures 3" wide. 19" across, 21" long. Inner frame is 2" wide. 14" across, 16" long. Opening is 10 1/2" across. 12 1/4" long. Inner frame needs to be reattached to outer frame in some places. Outer frame is gapping at the corners. Very little gesso is missing. Just on the corners of the large frame. She remembers seeing her grandmother wearing this bracelet when she was in her early teens. She does not know anything about the bracelet, but knows she cant keep all of her grandmother items. I removed and have sold my antique stair rag runner so up for auction a SET of 15 METAL COPPER FINISH STAIR CARPET RUNNER RODS with ROUND BALL FINIAL ENDS and LARGE SCREW EYE FASTENERS. These are just fabulous. Fresh off my stairs where they have lived for many, many years. Each heavy metal rod measures 30" in length X about 1/4" in diameter. These are heavy and sturdy with a great antique look. These are metal. Maybe steel with a copper finish, not sure. They have a lovely soft copper finish with original patina. The finish is scratched off overall from use and there is tape residue on many of the rods as they were taped together at one point for storage. This could be scrubbed off. I will leave that up to the lucky winner of this auction. Each rod has a round ball finial end. The rods are straight, one does have a bit of a bend ... moreto it and this is very slight and still perfectly useable. Included are the large screw eye fasteners used to attach each rod to the stair. There are 14 sets of large black screw eyes with 1 lone extra. The screw eyes have deep scratches and scuffs from removing them from the stairs but are perfectly functional. I do not know if these are old. This is exactly how I purchased the set over 30 years ago. Not sure if they are original to the rods, but they work beautifully. Antique stair runner rod sets are RARE and HARD TO FIND. Also VERY EXPENSIVE TO PURCHASE. If you know anything about stair runner rods. You know this is a GREAT STARTING PRICE. You are paying only $10.00 per rod! I am downsizing so need to sell some things. These will be fairly pricey to ship due to the weight. I make no profit on shipping. this teapot is about 10.5 inches tall. Was once silver plated and over the decades has been polished down to the brass body. There's the odd trace of silver plate including one near the bottom(photo 6) which will polish off easily when cleaned. It's better than average quality. Has an applied reinforced rim and stylish secessionist handles. For accuracy of description there's a small crack on the reinforced rim which won't travel any furthere as seen in photo 8. Brass and Copper Antique Samovar with Teapot- Russian origin?
Brass and copper antique samovar with matching teapot for auction. Items are in antique condition with one noticeable dent(shown in pictures) as well as a missing spigot key and missing top. We do have the matching teapot. However it is missing its spout and also has some fairly significant scratching and a dent in the rim of the top. Samovar stands approx 14.5" tall. 13" wide, and 11.5" deep. Item does have some Russian engraved on the top.
