And is in the form of a diamond shape. Impressed in the copper is a three leaf clover. The head is attached to a steel pin. The pin is marked on the back in small, hand-written black letters, the catalog number from a museum. It is part of the museum collection of hat pins that was recently deaccessioned which I am offering this week. Measurements: 9" long Head- approx. 1 3/8" long x 1" wide Condition: Very good. WELCOME! This is a no reserve auction for: A copper and brass embossed UNIVERSAL. AMERICAN FIRE EQUIPMENT Co. fire extinguisher made in BOSTON MASS. This includes the original handle, cover, internal“acid” bottle, bottle‘cap’ and hanger… all in good unrestored condition. I’m unsure if the hose is original as it seems a bit long… it is from the appropriate period though. This is approx. 20 inches high and 5-6 inches wide. The tank has quite a few dents. Most normal and a few larger as seen in the photos. Great set of original filling and maintenance instructions on the brass plate, as well as the UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES inspection plate. Even unrestored. This draws a lot of conversation and displays well in my home. Note- the cover. While I think its brass has a very nice copper tone to it…so I’m unsure of the metal used to cast this but ... moreit looks great. Overall. This pair of antique early Taisho period(c. 1914) Japanese chataku. Or teacup saucers, feature a form of artwork that is seldom made today. It is made of copper, which has been formed into a plum blossom design. There are several images, including the front of Meiji Shrine, an arch in the garden surrounding it, and the paulownia blossom that represents the imperial household. Written on the saucer in Japanese is"Meiji Shrine, Commemoration of Prayer Ceremony. These chataku measure 4 1/4" long by 3" wide(11 by 8 cm) Despite their age(over 100 years old) Having been in storage most of their life, with the exception of a rich aged patina and minor tarnish, they remain in excellent condition. 4 GE Novalux antique copper/brass spotlight floodlights
For sale is four GE Novalux projector/floodlight/spotlight for around 1929. The bell is made of copper and the arms are solid cast brass. These lights were sometimes used as a searchlight on ships or to light up the piers at night when the ships came in to be unloaded. They are becoming increasingly hard to find and are a very visually stunning piece once cleaned up. These lights are complete minus a small amount of wiring work. the light sockets are there but as in the one picture the cords were cut when they were removed so just add a plug and they should work. All the others I've seen the inner mirror is smooth where as these have a faceted mirror.There is some wear on the mirrors but they are solid as well.All the lenses are intact with no chips or cracks.Three of the lights are in the green patina and the fourth has had the green ... morecleaned off but needs polished. The last picture is one that i have restored and is ONLY A REFERENCE PICTURE to show what they look like finished. Although i kinda like them green as well. They take a 500 watt bulb but with a quick change of the socket they run on regular bulbs. The light is appx 30' x22'x 18' and the glass is about 15' and will be shipped separately from the light. This is 3 antique Japanese copper clad souvenir ashtrays. The small trays measure just over 4 1/2" in diameter. The bigger ashtray measures 5 3/4" in diameter and the top flips up to insert a lighter. We're not 100% sure that this is the lighter that goes with the set. But it looks as though it does. The bigger ashtray has a silver colored main gate to the shrine on the bottom and is covered with glass. The bigger ashtray is also much heavier than the smaller ones. Up for consideration is this copper hollow body Rooster weathervane. Nice condition overall. There are hacksaw cuts where the two brass rods intersect, It looks like someone was trying to remove it and didn't know what they were doing. This doesn't affect the stability of the weathervane it is still solid. Everything else is as it should be. Rooster comes with the stand in the pictures. Here is an amazing Antique Trotting Horse Copper Weathervane just removed from a central Illinois Farm estate where it has been since about 1890 or so according to the previous owner. This amazing piece of history has a beautiful patina and stands about 10 1/4 feet tall! The Base measures 30" x 30" and is 3/8" steel. The 3/8" steel base will most likely be too heavy to ship but the rest of the tower with built in mounting bracket can be partially dismantled for shipping anywhere in the United States. The horse measures 27 1/2" from its tail to its nose. This weathervane can be mounted on the ground or on a structure. Vintage Crescent Antique Silent Butler Silver Copper Shell With Glass Insert This Auction is for a Vintage Crescent Silverplated Over Copper Silent Butler with glass dish insert and wooden handle. It's in very good condition for its age but does need to be polished. There is a hallmark stamped on the bottom as shown but no model number. I'm not sure of the age but in trying to research it seems to be from around the early to mid 1900's. The only place that I've noticed the copper showing through the silver is on the short side shown in top middle picture. The glass dish insert is damage free and clean. The teapot handle is brass and is attached to the pot with decorative floral shapes. The pot has several shallow dents. The stand is brass and has beautiful whiplash and curved pieces. Both the stand and the pot have caning around their handles. A tiny piece of caning is missing at the end of the pot handle. The burner is copper. This is a Pair of Antique Ornate Wheeler& Wilson Treadle Sewing Machine Drawers. These are from an extension leaf table that would have a bonnet and dates from the 1890's or maybe even earlier. The frames are scrolled outer supports and the drawers have ornate copper pulls. The finish is dark and semi-wrinkled. The frames are dry. The frames and drawers are solid. There are aged bumps. Scratches and dings. The backs of both drawers are dark. The wood has a thin tiger stripe wood grain. It might be oak, but the faces look more like walnut. All drawer pulls are in good condition. The left drawer has a notch and metal bar used to support the drop leaf table top when extended. The top left drawer has some old small nails around the outer edge. The right side rear scrolled support is chipped just above the middle. The veneer under the ... moretop is chipped. I have pictured both areas. The top right drawer has a divider and small drawer inside. They are very old, but I do not think these are original. Each frame body measures 6-3/8" x 13-3/4" on the top and is 12-3/8" to the bottom of the supports. Each drawer measures 4-3/8" wide x 4-3/4" tall and are 13-3/4" deep not including the drawer pull. The locks accept a square key and work. There is no key. Three of the keyholes are missing the protective rings. They come with all original mounting screws. This is a copper-top halftone of an ADDING MACHINE from about 1928. This model was made by the KAL SAN MANUFACTURING COMPANY of DAYTON. OHIO. You can see the words ADDING MACHINE just by looking at it but the other words are hard to see iunless you print it. It measures 2-7/8" wide X 3-1/8" high. It is copper on type metal mounted on a wooden block. I have included a photo of what the actual machine looked like. There are apparently some still around and even people who collect them. Vintage Heavy Copper Maritime Boat-Signal/Fog Horn Found at a marina this old boat horn is in good.Solid shape.The horn has great patina,and is offered"as found"I have not scrubbed or cleaned it.The horn measures approximately 15"H,and 4"W.The horn does work,and quite loudly-At first I could find no mark on the piece,but did find'Japan' on the seam at the open end.The horn is a bit out of round,but still very sturdy,with no dents,scrapes or holes.No disappointments here.A nice addition to your collection,offered here today with no reserve and'FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING'
