Not sure this is Peresian Qajar but it resembles it. It appears to be hammered copper with a very ornated design. The handle could be brass or copper. I can find no identifying marks. It is 4" tall excluding the handle and 7 1/2" with the handle and 4 1/4" in diameter at the widest point. Total weight on my postal scale is 15 1/2 ounces. More pictures on request. This is a wonderful antique(pre 1910 see patent dates in pictures) 6 cup tin-lined Copper Bodied Samover handcrafted by Manning Bowman& Co. has turned wood handles on sides and lid. And a beautiful brass spigot with a wooden handle. The copper has a fantastic patina with a rainbow hue. As noted above the burner unit is missing the fuel tank filler cover and the internal wick mechanism. The fuel tank has some small dents on the bottom, but is not visible when it is assembled. The rest of this piece is dent free and is a fantastic display piece for your collection. The assembled height is 14" and the base is 6 1/2" across. Metal overlays appear to be cast copper with a pleasanr silvery gray patina. The motifs are Victorian in nature, clusters of flowers, wolf heads, and a women's face all with a beaded detail throughout. The interior is lined with a peach colored satin which is faded and discolored in spots. Exterior is in very good condition. Some metal overlays are slightly loose. Hinge works very well. Box is slightly warped when closing. Has a keyhole but no key is present. Slight wood loss just above the keyhole. An unusual and handsome box. This listing is for a beautiful piece of silver washed copper. This piece appears to be a form of prayer bell that would have set on a wooden dowel or base of some sort. I am not by any means an expert in this area. And brought this piece to a local antique dealer to clarify what it is. He informed me that it was his belief that it was a middle eastern islamic prayer bell. This hand hammered piece is engraved along the outside with nice repetitive patterns. This bell measures 5 and 3/4 inches in diameter at its widest point and about 3 inches tall. THe inner circular hole measures about 1 inch in diameter. This is a nice and obviously early piece. This is a lovely antique copper luster(lustre) milk or cream pitcher from the late 1800's.found in a local estate sale and fresh to the market. Clean and simple lines and wonderful deep blue in the colored band. Pitcher is 3-1/2 inches tall and 4-1/2 inches from spout to handle. Mouth is 2-3/8 inches in diameter and base is 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Overall in very good condition.base shows wear and small white area that appears to be leftover from a sticky tag. Minor wear on the copper lustre floral pattern in one area on the blue band. Otherwise. No chips, cracks or other blemishes on this sweet little pitcher.

Only love can inspire that kind of poetry. This is a copper and brass fire extinguisher. It has a few names on the gorgeous plate of typography attached to the front. The first is Underwriters' Laboratories. Inc. which is stated to have inspected it. This company, now known as UL, was founded in Illinois in 1894 to perform safety inspections on new emerging technologies and is still does safety testing all over the world today. Under that, it says"STANDARD MNFD BY MILLER-PEERLESS" Miller being the founder of Underwriters' Laboratories. The ... morefire extinguisher was the debut of UL's labeling practice. The rest of the plate of typography gives directions for use. The extensive example of typography is one of my favorite things about this piece- featuring several different fonts and font sizes. The extinguisher has a really magnificent natural patina, varying in shades of brown, black, red, orange and bright green. The orange/red color of the hose also gives it a nice pop. A fantastic collectible- some people talk and read about history, some people hunker down and surround themselves with it. Which one are you? Of course this item has a few telltale sings of her age- heck. For that matter, so do I! There is of course the variances in color and wear to the finish. There is also a small ding on the label plate. There's some oxidation in the bottom of the extinguisher. The hose, which appears to be covered in a manner of a material at least partially composed of rubber, has some cracking and a some small bits have flaked off at the very top. ANTIQUE 19thc NEPAL TIBETAN JEWELLED GILDED SILVERED COPPER RHINOCEROS FIGURINE
Description This antique circa 1900(the leopard in our other listing is much older) Nepal Tibetan figurine of an Asian rhinoceros, is hand worked in copper in a standing position. It has all over applied circular metal strip enclosures, set with mainly turquoise coloured glass cabochons, with a few black ones to the legs. It has white and black glass inset eyes and a carved horn horn. This lovely old piece is apparently unmarked. It has some dinks. One or two missing enclosures and a few missing turquoise cabochons with some damage to the feet, which we believe is partly down to the manufacturing quality, which is far less refined than the leopard in our other listing. Description This antique circa early 19th century or possibly earlier Nepal Tibetan figurine of a leopard. It is finely hand worked in copper in a standing walking stance with snarling expression. Its body and head are applied with circular metal strip enclosures with knurled upper edges and each containing red and black glass cabochons. It has borders and sections of spiral wound metal strips, also with knurled edges and has applied tapered tail, ears, tongue and wonderful whiskers, with white and black glass inset eyes with tiny white glass cabochons to the teeth. This fabulous old piece is apparently unmarked. It is in good antique condition apart from 2 missing cabochons from the body and 2 from the teeth. There is a crease mark in one front leg just above the paw. A little bit of wear to the gilding/ silvering on the lower legs. I am offering an ANTIQUE ARTS& CRAFTS PERIOD COPPER& BRASS TANKARD. This tankard is crafted of copper and brass in a classic Arts& Crafts embossed design. It has a mellow patina and was not overly polished. There are no makers marks or indication of country of origin. Condition: Very good- very small dents on the very top of the lid. Small dents on the bottom of the base- a shallow intentation on the body of the tankard. Measurements: 6 1/4" tall X 3 1/2" in diameter. Please study my pictures carefully.
