WP Cresson and Co. No.6(3 galls) cast iron cauldron pot with gate mark.possibly mid 1800's. It is marked on both sides with the company name and volume. The cauldron has 3 feet and 2 side ears. The dimensions are 9" tall x 11-1/4" diameter opening. The cauldron has surface rust and shallow pitting(interior) but is water tight and useable. The patina adds to its authenticity and is a collector's item. It can be cleaned and seasoned for cooking purposes but you can decide. It will be sold as is. See pics for signs of age. Ebay Listing Page Antique Staffordshire Asian Scene Blue Transferware Cup& Saucer I tem Description: Up for auction is a beautiful antique medium blue transferware cup and saucer manufactured in Staffordshire. England during the early 1800s. The cup and saucer features an Asian motiff, and the pattern is called Asiatic Temple as marked on the bottom of the saucer. Overall the saucer measures approximately 5 5/8" in diameter and the cup stands about 2 3/8" tall. Item Condition: The overall condition of the set is excellent. It is extremely clean and has no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas with the exception of a tiny flake on the bottom footrim of both the cup and saucer. The white earthenware is still very bright and the blue color is deep with nice contrast. The glaze is glossy with fine consistent crazing. I am selling my grandfather's pocket watch. I spent several weeks of researching the history of this watch as well as talking with other Waltham experts. Collectors and watch lovers about this beautiful collectors piece. This watch belonged to my late Grandfather who was born in 1894 and died in 1970. My grandmother kept the watch in it's little felt bag tucked in a drawer until I inherited it around 1993. I've never used it nor paid much attention to the detail of the watch. Only taking it out from time to time to look at it, just one of many things I've kept for sentimental reasons as I am the only immediate surviving family member. Now after many years of having no use for it and with no interest from my own children in acquiring it. I have decided to sell the watch and this is everything I know about it. It is an open ... moreface Waltham Royal pocket watch made by American Waltham Watch Company Waltham Mass. sometime between 1906& 1920. Because of the serial numbers often being assigned long before the actual watch was made and many early records were destroyed. It is almost impossible to get an exact date. The watch is 17 jewels original adjusted movement. Winds. Runs and seems to keep time beautifully. The casing, covers stem and outside shell are 14K gold. The case is made by Roy which is known to be of a higher end by watch collectors. The gold stem is a bit stiff when pulling to set time. Nothing has been done to this watch in years so it may need some fine tuning. After measuring according to pocket watch standards. This watch seems to be a size 14. Please ask any questions regarding measurements if needed. The weight is 101.3 grams. The white face looks to have a couple minor scratch marks through magnification but otherwise looks perfect. All numbers and watch hands in tact. The glass over the face is very scratched and would probably benefit from being replaced as it has no bearing on the rest of the watch. This fine French Louis XVI Influenced Antique Side Chair exhibits the highly embellished qualities of the Aesthetic Movement furniture. Crafted during the last years of the 19th Century, probably c. 1880-1900, this piece is a difficult form to find- closely adhering to the neoclassical spirit of the Louis XVI style, it's strict lines are softened by the deep swooping crest rail and the curves of the square back legs. Flanking the crest rail on either side are floral bouquets carved of the solid. Not simply impressed in gesso, beneath raised flame finials at the corners. The frame is molded with overlapping scales along the front and repeating carved teeth along the sides, ... morethe apron likewise embellished with carved rosettes at each corner over fluted and turned legs that terminate in original caster feet. The upholstery is in"excellent" condition, a soft and comfortable fabric with machine-embroidered bees. The seat is webbed for great comfort with a firm support and being in excellent structural condition with strength in all joints, it likewise is a great chair for regular use in the home. Beneath the seat rail. NO.63" is stained in ink, though the chair remains unattributed without further details on the firm. This is a treasure you will enjoy for a lifetime- a somewhat unusual form. Up for auction is a vintage to antique aged glass bracelet.my best guess is about 1930-35. It is 1/2" wide bangle with a flat interior and convex walls which have a rhomboid patterned exterior surface. It has an inner diameter for wear of 2.5" An outer diameter for stacking purposes of 3" and it weighs 1.2oz on a digital scale prior to packing. It is an agreeable green to blue green color and transparent- and looks to be in perfect condition. There are no nicks, dinks, scrapes or facet damages to this piece. It was sourced second hand at a local vintage wares market, purchased along with some silver Mexican bracelets, two of which are shown in the final couple of pics with this one. This is a very nice revolving tabletop shelf. It could be for small books or nic nacs. It is 15 1/2" tall by 12" wide. The cubby holes are 6 1/2"x6" In comes in two parts. The top shelves(photos 1 to 10) that swivel on the base(photo 11 and 12) I took different shades of the top piece to show how it was constructed and that there are two seperations between boards, but book case is very sturday, not loose. Up for bid is a Doe Wah Jack Round Oak topper for a stove. Range or furnace. Condition is as shown in the photos with the bottom end broken off. Despite the broken part, the face and lettering is really nice on this piece. This is the topper that the separate oak leaf wings I have for sale was attached to until the movers got ahold of it. Greetings! Today for your consideration we have an Antique Cast Iron Three Piece ORNATE Stove Humidifier? has hole on top piece to let steam out. dish underneath for water and then the base stand. The base piece 5 and 3/4" tall and across the center of the base 7 and 3/4" The next piece(bowl for water? measures 1 and 3/4" tall and 9" across the top center. The Lid measures 7 and 1/2" across center inside. All the pieces are very ornate and fit together perfectly. Very little rust. There is a makers mark on the bottom of the base but I can only make out a V and not the other two initials, could it be Virginia Metalcrafters? As I said I would love to hear from you if you have any information on this piece and I do have other cast iron items on this week if you are interested. Vintage Leather Doctors Medical Bag - Antique DR Brief w/ Brass Clasps & Handles
Up for sale is a vintage leather doctors bag. The bag has two very sturdy leather handles on top with two brass clasps and a brass button for opening the bag. The bottom of the bag has seven brass knobs and embossed on the bottom it reads"Warranted Genuine Leather" The bag measures 12 inches tall. 18 inches long, and 11 inches wide. The overall condition of this doctors bag for it's age is excellent. The clasps open and close as they should, the leather handles are in very nice sturdy condition and all the stiching on the bag is intact. The handle is secure but has had additional material added over years- not sticky or slippery like with old tape. There is normal scruffs on the leather, note there are 4 brass feet on each side of the case that holds it up when opened. This comes with many vials, again sadly some are missing. I did not open or change any around, the vials have several hand written labels and all have cork tops. I would suggest cleaning the vial and of course never mess with anything in these vials. The ingredients have been suggested as old candy since it was displayed in a now closed general store in upstate NY but I would dump and clean. I assure you whatever it is inside its way outdated. Antique 1/2 scale 1915 era tractor not hit & miss
A 1/2 scale model of a 1915 vintage farm tractor. The tractor measures 6 1/2' X 33" and weighs approx. 500 lbs. Powered by a 4 hp Cushman Binder Engine manufactured in the teens. The engine is connected to a modern day lawn tractor differential. It has one speed forward. Neutral and reverse. The engine has not been restored. But is complete, has great compression and capable of running well. Due to the liability issues that come with manufacturing a product, this tractor is being sold as a static display. There will be a block of wood placed in the crankcase disabling the crankshaft from rotating. Buyer will arrange shipping or local pick up. Antique J.P.L. JEAN POUYAT LIMOGES Teapot w Hand Painted 17th c. Lover's Scene Up for sale is a gorgeous. Antique J.P.L. Jean Pouyat Limoges France unique shaped blue porcelain teapot with a terrific hand painted scene of approx. 17th c. era lovers with the young man courting his girl by playing his guitar. The scenes with edge with a raised gold gilt design and there are more gold gilt accents throughout the piece. The handle is a"T" shaped and accent with a painted gold design. There is some light gold paint loss to the handle and rim of the teapot. There are no chips, cracks or breaks. There is no lid. The piece is 5.75" tall to the top of the handle and it's widest diameter. Jean Pouyat created pieces with this mark from 1891 to 1932 to the teapot dates to that era. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business ... moredays as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. Antique Vintage Lightning Adding Machine in Bakelite Case 1940s Estate Find XLNT
Here's a real working classic Lightning Adding Machine. Made as early as the early 1900s but this one's probably from the 1940 s as it has the enhanced"subtraction feature" lacking on the earlier models. It is a rare item anymore but a real delight to find one at a recent estate sale in such great condition. The logo is bright and clear on the lower right side as shown. Too. The only real patina was a bit on surface of a few of the dials; otherwise, fantastic. It is also in a burgundy tone Bakelite stand! It measures 13-3/4" long. 2"high and 4" wide as the case slants upward for easier view of the machine. It does not have the stylus which was used to dial the numbers in to total them, but the lever shown on the left was pulled out to clear the numbers back to 0. All of it is in working order. It's actually ... morein 2 pieces, with the silver dial section felt covered on the back which just tucks into the custom tray of the Bakelite case, which also has felt pads on each foot. It was well taken care of and it shows. This is a unique, rare and delightful piece of history, and sure brought lots of smiles and conversation about how they were used in the old days by those attending the estate sale. As always. Here’s an inexpensive piece of antique office equipment for your home or office décor. It is an F& E Series 800“Lightning” Check Writer manufactured by the Hedman Manufacturing Company circa 1920’s. It is serial# 1082984. The machine is not in operating condition. As you can see from the pictures. It has some rust and needs a good cleaning, but it has great character and a marvelous patina.
