Pair Of Antique Solid Silver Goblets, By Christofle
This is a pair of sterling silver goblet cups made by Christofle in France. I think they were made around 1930's based on hallmarks on the bottom. The cups also have a hallmark of a horse head with an O C and stamped Cristofle and France. They are the marks Christofle used for their sterling see photos. I even tested them with acid and they are solid sterling silver. They are vary old and they were used quite a bit. There is a residue build up inside the cups from use. Over all they are in excellent condition. The cups are 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. Stained and clear coated. The cast iron base has been disassembled. And completely sanded to bare metal. Primer then painted in a really nice satin black. Then clear coated. Same has been done for the brackets that hold the slats and seat. The chair stands a total of 32" high. The back of the seat is 16" wide. The seat is 14"deep X 16"wide. The height of the seat is adjustable with the turn of a bolt. It ranges about 13" to 17" Chair will be removed from the base for more economical shipping.

Up for auction is a collection of antique spoons that belonged to the grandmother of Anna Lugosi. The adopted daughter of famed Bela Lugosi(Hollywood's Original Dracula) These antique spoons, along with other items that are or will be for sale, were acquired from the estate of Anna Lugosi after her recent passing. Among the collection are countless prints, autographs, personal items and photographs of her father whom she adored and mysteriously obsessed over. The life of Anna Lugosi is as mysterious and tragic as the life of her adoptive father, whose role as Dracula defined his very character and deeply affected him. Also among the collection were voodoo dolls and other materials that might be considered"witchcraft" or of the occult.
