Antique White Alabaster Urn Form Lamp Estate Find
Stunning white alabaster lamp directly from a local estate. Very nice lines and proportions. Probably dates to the 1940s. Solid heavy stone with brass feet. It appears to be marked Italy on underside. Condition: It is in working order. The joint where the base meets the body shows some minor stress fractures. But no missing elements or pieces. Will display very well. 26" H x 6" W.

It is beautifully carved throughout and the faces are amazing. The round top opening does have dark discoloration and hairline cracks. However they do not go all the way through to the inside. I purchased the lamp this way many years ago and I assume it was from the heat of the bulb that created the discoloration but not sure. I always have this lamp on and have not had a problem with any further discoloration or cracks and I have a 100W bulb in it now. I have owned it for about 20 years. antique vintage alabaster marble table lamp italy early 1900s hand carved
Alabaster Lamp- Italy- Hand carved Circa 1900-1930 22.5" Tall- Lamp shade 12.5" We normally avoid alabaster lamps. However we made an exception for this one. Deconstructing it. It became obvious this is a very old lamp indeed, it shows not only tool marks on the alabaster but you can clearly see the stem has old welding(which I have seen on Italian Lamps) but also that at one stage it had two active sockets. It is now rewired with an on/off plug on the cord which was done quite some time ago. We also see a repair to a corner so this lamp clearly meant something to the previous owner. We thought the brass at the base was actually steel until we started cleaning it and it turned out to be 100% solid brass. So we finished cleaning it up. It now has a silk shade with it and it charming. Will be sent via FedEx.

Antique Alabaster (or Marble) Hanging Lamp Chandelier Unique Retro
This is most likely made out of Alabaster because the stone is a little softer than Marble. I believe it is from Europe and from the early 1900's. The lamp has been very skillfully upgraded with an LED Flood Light Bulb with 9 Watts. This is the very best way to show off the incredible color of the stone. When lit. It looks like the stone is on fire. The stone measures 16 inches in diameter and around 5 inches high. From the ceiling to the bottom of the lamp measures approx 41 inches. Adjustments can be made to level the stone part of the lamp and also raise and lower the light bulb. Look at the photos. No, you are not looking at a photograph of the sun, it is the actual photo of the lamp when lit up. It is truly an amazing and unique piece. The lamp/chandelier is supported by a"silky" or Satin-like Gold colored Rope(I am quite ... moresure it is the original) The rope is very slightly frayed. The Alabaster(or Marble) has no scratches whatsoever! It is rare to find something this old and in such excellent condition. Once again I have been blessed and have found several items that I want to place in my store. It just seems like I get busier and busier. But love what I do. My goal now is find enough time to photo, describe and add some more great items to my store. Please check back as I am always looking for the unusual to add to my store. This sale is for an antique Marble/Alabaster Ornate Table Lamp. With deeply carved detailing around the middle of the lamp base, and lots of deep colored veins, see picts. The base is square. With ... morea stair step smaller, but taller square set on top, see picts. The main body of the lamp has an urn shape, with a heavy band of hand carved leaves wrapping the body at it's widest point, see picts. The leaf shaped decoration is deeply molded, with carved veins down the middle of each'leaf' see picts. The leaves appear to be intact all around. I could not find any damage except for the roughage/nicks that you would expect to see around the edges, see picts. The jointed pieces will need tightened, but left alone as will be easier to rewire in it's original condition, see picts. These is considered normal wear and not significant damage, but pictures all around for your review. When I purchased this lamp there was a long piece of antique cloth covered double wiring wrapped around the lamp. Almost as if the original owner planned to use it to rewire this lamp, see picts. The cloth covered double wire appears to be in very good condition, but will leave it to the new owner to determine if it is up to code and could be used to rewire the lamp. Antique Hollywood Regency Italian Carved Alabaster Marble Urn Shape Table Lamp
Beautiful Hollywood Regency Italian Deeply Carved Alabaster Marble Urn Shape Table Lamp with beautiful Open Work Metal Trim. The bottom metal work between the foot and pedestal looks like twigs and the urn base has a leaf design. The top of the urn shape is deeply carved and the wide band has a row of what looks like flowers. Below that are vertical lines running down to the metal that holds the urn shape. The next area of marble is square and the bottom base is square. The lamp has the original finial. The lamp measure 32" to the top of the finial and 20" to the top of the socket. The lamp is quite heavy weighing almost 11 lbs. so it will be heavy to ship. The lamp works well and the wiring looks very good. I had two of these which I sold and one was damaged in transit. Measures 14 inches tall as measured from the bottom of the lamp to the top of the electric socket. I believe this is an old piece. I did not clean this piece for fear of damaging it. This Listing is for a 23" Tall Carved Alabaster Marble Table Lamp. The Lamp measures 23" to the top of the Finial. It measures 12 1/2" to the Top of the Socket. The Finial is 4" Long. The Cord measures approximately 132" The Lamp Works. There are Chips on the Base& other parts of the Lamp. I have tried to show this with my pictures. This is a beautiful vintage/antique Art Deco Nouveau floor lamp with alabaster accents and lighted base in absolutely beautiful condition. The pictures really do not do it justice. Stands 64.5" tall. The base is about 12" wide. The lamp is very heavy and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Bronze tone heavy cast metal(not cast iron) ornate base. Stem and ornate shade holder with beautiful light toned cream colored alabaster accents on the stem and base with swirls of brown and red in them. The cream color glass torchiere shade is just under 16.5" wide and made of very thick glass. It is has a floral embossed pattern around the top rim. It is in excellent shape with only some slight chips around the bottom rim where it has rubbed against its fitting into the metal stem which is commiserate with normal vintage/antique wear. NO cracks ... moreanywhere. The base of the lamp has a push button on/off to turn on the base nightlight separately from the top light. Flaws: There is one small chip in the alabaster on the base that is shown in the last picture near the on/off foot switch. There is also some wear visible around the upper on-off switch which is also pictured in the photos. The lighthouse looks similiar to sandstone rock but it is a most likely a sedimentary rock. Vintage Antique Orange Alabaster table lamp. works PARTS or REPAIR
Up for grabs is this really beautiful orange alabaster(I believe) and cast table lamp. I'm guessing its from the 40's~50's. But I'm not an expert. I just liked it when I saw it. Unfortunately, when I git it home, I noticed one of the little feet on the cast bast to be broken. SO, I selling it as a"repair/refurbish or for parts" only. I've tested the cord and it works(switch also) It definitely shows the age. I didn't see any other damage, but it will need a cleaning. Size: Over-all height 20" No finial. No shade. Antique French Late 19th Century Oil Lamp Bronze Alabaster Empire Style
Up for bids is this beautiful French 1880's oil lamp with bronze and alabaster base and stem in the empire style. This exquisite lamp stands 27" from base to top of the cranberry pink glass shade. This piece has never been changed over to electric at anytime. The lamp has a GORGEOUS cranberry/pink/rose colored bowl with an iridescent glow to it. Could use a good cleaning but I'll leave that to you. The wick mechanism has 15-777 POLAIRE stamped on it.

Antique Alabaster Marble Hand Carved Neoclassical Urn Table Lamp 26" Ivory Gray
Antique Urn Style Lamp Beautiful hand carved alabaster marble lamp with gorgeous ivory. White, tan and gray coloring Lamp is in very good condition there are a few flaws- some chipping around center band piece and two chips on the top edge of the carved design. Bottom did have felt attached but was removed to repair with the new wiring and top electrical parts. There is still some of the felt res idue on bottom. I was told the l amp was from around the late 1890's or early 1900's. I purchased the lamps many years ago from a women in her 60's and the lamps belonged to her grandparents. Measurements of the lamp it self is 14 3/4" tall. With l ight bulb socket and lamp shade bracket it is 26" tall. Bottom base is 4 3/4" square. I have another matching lamp that I have not listed. It has more chips and is in worse condition ... morethen this one but they do make a great pair. Please let me know if you would be interest ed in it as well.
