On the bottom of this one, in red letters, it reads"Made in Occupied Japan" It is 4 1/4" tall and 2" wide and in excellent condition. This woman would be a nice addition to your collection.

Pair Occupied Japan Vintage Tea Cup and Saucer Blue Willow Gold Gilt Design
PAIR OCCUPIED JAPAN Blue Willow w/gold gilt bands Cups& Saucers. What a pair of beautiful tea cups! Blue Willow design measures 2 5/8" tall. 5 5/8" across the saucer and 3 3/4" inches across the top of the cup. They are painted with Cobalt blue trees, fence, pagoda on a white background. The cup has a similar design around the outside with gold bands, and a little scene in the bottom. The rims of both are done in gold gilt bands on the edge. No chips or cracks, with little wear on the gold gilt. Both cup and saucer are stamped on the bottom in green IRONSTONE WARE, MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN. My best friend inherited a lot of vintage items from her elderly neighbors and these were among their things. We are trying to find new homes for their treasures so thanks for looking:

Plates Bowls Saucers - Flow Blue Pattern - Made in Occupied Japan - Marked - 40s
2 bowls or saucers and 2 plates. They all have the flow blue pattern- 2 are lighter than the other 2. The design is a beautifully designed scene of birds. Trees, houses and fences. Very Pretty. I do not know the history or age of these. I purchased them at an estate sale. Since 3 of them say Made in Occupied Japan, that they are likely from after the war- probably between 1942 thru 1952? One of them simply is stamped JAPAN so I can't guess on that one. I'll describe each below: Larger Plate- Very Good condition. It has a fading on one small area towards the edge. The overall blue is not as deep as the others. The bottom is stamped with Made in Occupied Japan with a Crown in the middle of the words. It measures a little over 7" in diameter. No Chips or Cracks. Smaller Plate- Very Good Condition. It has a deep blue. The bottom ... moreis stamped KAAUSA Ware above a wreath with a crown in the middle and underneath it says Made in Occupied Japan. 2 very tiny chips or nicks on the underside of the plate. They are white with rose bouquets. Each has tiny beads in the porcelain around the edge with gold trim. The cup measures about 1 1/2 inches tall. About 2 1/2 inches from edge of cup to edge of handle, and the cup is about 2 inches across. The saucer is about 3 7/8 inches across and raises to about 3/8 of an inch at the sides. The last picture is an attempt to show its size next to a Coke can. The cup and saucer are both marked in red: Yamaka Made in Occupied Japan. The set is in good condition for its age. There are no chips. ANDREA S bisque pair of figurines- only sold as a pair. These delicate bisque porcelain pieces were made in Occupied Japan during the late 1940's and bear the mark Andrea S. The pieces measure 7" tall with a 5 1/2" base. The details of each piece are very intricate. Including the faces, expressions, clothing, and stance. Although they appear to be reverse images, on second look small variations can be spotted; i.e. the tilt of the heads, number of folds in the lady’s skirt, the skirt ruffle, intricacies of the hairstyles, and the details of the men’s waistcoats. There are no chips on these lovely pieces. Hand-painting with added gilt outlines enhance the bodices. Sleeves, table, tea service, and base of each piece. Some drips from the men’s shoe paint are visible on the back of the figurine with the man on the left side. Both ... morepieces are in mint condition and have been well preserved; colors are bright. Hand-painted Occupied Japan Salt& Pepper Shakers-Excellent Condition- 1945-1952 This pair of hand-painted salt and pepper shakers was made in Japan during the Allied Forces Occupation and is an excellent example of the quality craftsmanship of the period. Each shaker has a Regular Hexagonal(six sided) shape that tapers from 1 ¾” top width to a bottom width of 1” The base is 1 3/8” in diameter. Each shaker is 3 ¾” tall. The shakers look identical. But since they are hand-painted, there are differences in the rose bouquets. Look closely at the photos and you will see that difference. A gilded cartouche adorns the center of each top. Notice the difference in the hole size when comparing one to the other. A thin line of gold gilt edges the circular edge of the cap, as well as the hexagonal edges of the top sides and the base. This is a hexagon shaped cup and saucer set marked Occupied Japan and has a mark that I'm not familiar with. The three footed cup measures approx. 1 5/8" across and 2" high. The saucer measures approx. 4 1/8" across at the widest point and 7/8" deep. The set is in good condition. With no chips or cracks, but the bottoms of the feet on the cup do not appear to have been glazed or the glaze has diminished over the years. The saucer is also missing a few small areas of gold trim in the bottom which is probably just from use over the years. These things are minor, but they should be mentioned and this set would be a nice addition to your OJ collection. Before bidding. Occupied Japan Hand-Decorated Bowl Blue Leaf. Gold and Red Trim Offered for auction: A beautifully hand-decorated Occupied Japan bowl. With a round red mark(and a blue Japanese mark) which I haven't been able to identify. This pale blue bowl is decorated with colorful darker blue leaves with red and gold highlights, gold berries(or fruit) with red borders, and a five-sided rim with gold trim. This shallow bowl measures 7.25 inches wide at the rim. And sits 1.25 inches high at the side. It is in very good to excellent condition, with just a small amount of wear to the gold rim; there are no chips or cracks and no signs of crazing. There are a couple of bumps and shadows in the glaze, original to manufacture. Marked 94 J.C. but it went together so perfectly with this old Kipp Ceramics piece I had to sell them together. This beautiful full size coffee/tea cup and saucer is an uncommonly seen pretty tulip design. It is a floral chintz with pink. Lavendar, yellow, green and blue colors. Both cup and saucer are marked on the back Ucagco China made in Occupied Japan. The saucer has a scalloped edge. Inside the cup is one pink tulip. It measures 3 5/8 inches across the rim of the cup(not including handle) and 5 1/2 inches across the saucer. The cup is a little over 2 inches high.
