Well. It's a long story. I got this hybrid bass/guitar setup from someone local and have been selling the parts off it. It was a MIM Jazz Bass mated to a slightly-butchered Starcaster. You are bidding on one unusual clamp-on style filter adapter ring& retaining ring as pictured. Both are unmarked. The adapter ring is a clamp-on style. With the little setscrew as shown, and inside diameter of the adapter end with the clamp retracted is about 42.6mm. That would be the largest size it would fit over. The retaining ring is threaded. And screws into the adapter with threads that have an outside diameter of about 39.6mm as measured with calipers. The filter or glass size can't be any larger than about 39mm, and would fall through the adapter if any smaller than about 37mm. The adapter is made of aluminum. While the retaining ring is made of something heavier. Condition of the adapter& retaining ring is very good. Vintage Harmony H425 Mandolin- Unusual Shape - NO RESERVE
Vintage Harmony Model H425 Mandolin NO RESERVE Up for bids is an unusual looking old Harmony mandolin. This is a model H425 and I believe it must be from the 1960's or so. It features an odd body shape. Segmented f-holes, and a sort of'bat wing' shaped pickguard for a eye catching look. As you can see this one has been played a bit but I think it has lots of life in it. The finish shows some small nicks and chips here and there. The binding is lifting up a bit at the waist on one side(see close up photo) And there is a hairline crack at the treble side f-hole. On the plus side the neck is straight and the action is comfortable. Frets show a little wear but there's no buzzing or problems. The bridge is probably a replacement but it works as it should. The headstock veneer is shrinking a little at the edges, but that's pretty ... morecommon on old Harmony stuff with this kind of overlay. The mandolin plays and sounds fine, though it could really use a new set of strings. No case but it will be well packed for shipping. Best of all, I'm listing it with NO RESERVE. U. S. Pair of large Pin Cushions, possible industrial type, Vintage, Unusual
Presenting a pair of large pin cushions. Each of them ha s a spring-like attachment on the back. I'm not sure what these attachments were use d for. But I am guessing they were for industrial use. The cushion parts are made of dark brown velvet with a decorative collar at the base. The material inside feels like crate straw. They appear to be well made and in great condition. There are no tears or repairs. Only the slightly worn spots mentioned above. The metal brackets show a small amount of rust. The word"PATENTED" is printed on both of them on the metal brackets. Size: No.1 is 4" dia. by 3" thick. No.2 is 3 3/4" dia. by 3" thick. The metal spring-like pieces are 10" and 8" long.

The colors are very pretty shades of blue pink and white/cream. I seems as if the colors are the original I don't see much fading. It feels like the fibers are wool. I don't know much about old textiles so I'm really not sure. Anyway. This is a pretty coverlet. It has some thin spots throughout and it needs a good cleaning but would be useable for a bed or to fold in a cupboard. The measurements are 72 inches wide and 86 inches long. Up for bid: I picked this instrument up at auction many years ago. This is some sort of scientific instrument that originally was designed around the Intel C4004 microprocessor family. Sorry the C4004 chips are not included in this auction. This is a really interesting piece. It appears to have a printer assembly and over all is in good shape. This is a rare example of early 4 bit microprocessor instrumentation and would make a fine museum piece. Again the processor and peripherals are not included. This item is a very unusual brass door knocker entitled"The Old Oast House" Which bears the number"18303" on the reverse. This is presumably the Registered Number of this design and would date the knocker to the latter part of the 19th century.The Oast House part of the knocker is hinged, whilst the top part shows the inside of an oast house. It measures approx 100mm in height with a width of approx 55mm. It bears tarnishing on the back. As to be expected; otherwise it is in very good condition

Unusual Antique redware Eleven-Hole Ocarina Black and Gold Coloring
Antique Redware Black& Gold 11-Hole Ocarina Made in Austria? For your Redware or Musical Instrument Collection Details Description: Very interesting and unusual piece of glazed redware. Here is an Ocarina. An ancient flute-like wind instrument. Variations do exist, but a typical ocarina is an enclosed space with four to twelve finger holes and a mouthpiece that projects from the body. This particular Ocarina has 11-holes and the mouth piece does project from the body. The piece is colored in black and the finger holes are numbered and lettered in gold coloring. The piece is also decorated with gold coloring at the two ends. The Ocarina is also stamped with the letter"G" and the number"9" near where the mouth piece meets the body of the instrument. The piece does give a beautiful sound when you blow into the mouth piece ... moreopening and you can change the tone by covering various finger opening. Very interesting. There are two ovals on the body of the Ocarina. Both are colored in gold, one has the name of the maker and the words Mad in and a word we believe maybe saying Austria, but we are truly unable to ascertain it. The other oval is blank and looks like two intersecting circles. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Uncertain. Possibly early 1900s or earlier. Origin: Uncertain but most likely somewhere in Europe. Possibly Austria. Size: ~7" long. And ~4" high including the mouth piece. The piece weighs over 10 1/2 ounces. Maker: Unknown Marks: Has what appears to be a makers mark indicating who the maker is and where the piece is made within a gold colored oval. However. We are unable to decipher the words or letters. The piece also has the letter G and the number 9 stamped into it. You are bidding on one Wilco Sunshade clamp-on style metal lens hood or shade as pictured. It is marked"WILCO SUNSHADE WILCO SPECIALTIES LOU KY PAT APPLIED FOR" and has the f-stops as shown. The entire base. Which includes the f-stop pointer and the clamp, can rotate relative to the rest of the shade, so that the pointer can be moved to any f-stop you choose. There is a little forked arm, best shown in the 3rd picture, which moves with the shade and not with the base. So if the base is clamped onto your lens. Rotating the shade changes where the pointer is pointing, and at the same time changes the location of the arm. I don't know what camera this was designed for, but if you had that camera, I would assume that rotating the shade would in turn rotate the f-stop lever on your camera. If you are interested. Crude but great lines and it is an old one which I've never seen before. Seat height adjusts from 22" to 27" Back may be adjusted for both height and depth. As you see the chair now it is 23" tall at the seat. 34 1/2" tall at the back. Seat is 16" wide by 11" deep. Unusual 1920's Dayton Steel Tennis Racquet . "The Cadet"- Very Nice
This is a nice Dayton Steel Tennis Racquet circa 20'30's. This is a"Cadet" model and is in fairly nice shape. These racquets were very early metal racquets made in the 20's and beyond. This particular racquet has one minor chip out of the metal paint about the Dayton Logo. Otherwise just show normal wear. The handle is in nice shape and the butt cap is very clear and easy to read and shows the Dayton Steel information. The racquet has steel strings and has no broken strings. Part of the red string on the upper portion of the racquet is broken. This is a nice racquet. The racquet is 26 7/8" x 8 7/8" in size.

1870 UNUSUAL Northern Plains Cree Indian Metis Beaded Beadwork
You are bidding on a very unusual and outstanding piece of Northern Plains Cree Indian/ Metis beadwork dating to c. 1870's. I have showed the piece to several museums in my area and all are agreed on the period of the piece but are baffled on exactly what it is. It has been suggested that it is possibly a childs glengarry style hat or cap. Some think it may be some type of shallow pouch or bag that may have had a specific purpose, but no one is really sure. The piece measures approx. 8 1/2" in length, about 3 1/2" in height and 2 1/4" wide at the bottom. Beadwork is done on deer hide. The beadwork is in great shape on the main panels, there is some bead loss along the open edge, overall condition is very good, it is lined with fur trade era cloth. This auction ends the evening of Wednesday Feb 27th Up for auction is a Interesting Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Duck Form Wine Pot. The Pot is a very interesting example. And I have not seen another one like this. The Pot has a great early Chinese archaic design and duck figural form. The Pot is richly gold gilt throughout, with a dark old patina. The Pot has fine cloisonne enamel work throughout. The Pot shows wear mainly to the gold gilt work, and could use a good cleaning, but we like to leave everything in the untouched condition as we receive it from the estate. But overall the Pot is in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, holes, dints, enamel loss, or repairs. The Pot is an amazing display piece measuring 8 ¼ inches long, by 3 ½ inches wide, and stands 7 inches tall. A Great and Truly Unique piece. Unusual Petite Early 1900's Antique Vintage French Mantle Mantel Shelf Clock
Please read ALL of the text and view the pictures carefully. We will gladly answer any questions as best we can. Please ask questions before you bid or buy. Please scroll to the bottom of the pictures and read the terms under our last picture. This is another clock from the estate of a collector that we have been selling for the last 6 weeks or so. What makes this clock different is the petite size. It measures 13 3/4" wide. 3 1/8" deep and the dial is only a 3 1/2" diameter, including the case it's about a 5" diameter. Cute as a button! This is a French clock in a mahogany case. The movement is signed"Made In France" has a lion stamped on to it and just to the right of the lion are the letters" H& H" There are other markings on the clock but I think those are from the repairman. The dial is ... moremarked France as well. The dial may be porcelain and is covered with a bevel glass convex glass bezel. The movement is sitting a little crooked inside the case as the 12 is not centered as shown. The solid mahogany case is nicely scrolled but there are dings and scrapes which should be clearly evident in the pictures. This clock rests on little brass ball feet. I cannot get this clock to run. I do not have the key so I took a pair of needle nose pliers and carefully wound the clock a little to check to see if it runs. Sitting Monkey Nodder Vintage 4" Tall Unusual Mechanism Unknown Maker/Age
Let me start out by saying I don't know anything about this figurine but will try to describe it as best as I can. If you have any questions or comments on this monkey. Please feel free to contact me. This is a monkey nodder which measures approximately 4" tall. He is sitting, reading a book. The nodding mechanism is very unusual to me, looking very vintage. The head has a metal pin or wire run through the neck with a metal wire coming out of the bottom and a weight fasten on the other end(as seen in the 2nd picture) I'm not quite sure what material the monkey is made of; ceramic, bisque? But the jacket appears to be porcelain with lots of checking from age. There is something written on the bottom, by hand, but can't read it(seen in 6th picture) There are a few VERY small nicks or rubs, but I see nothing major. Hope I was ... moredescriptive enough. Unusual Antique Bronze Chinese Foo Dog and Pup Vase
This winsom e vase with a th ird dimensional foo dog thrashing abo ut in an attempt to get to her pu p who is trying to r each up to her at the bottom has en chan ted us for y ears. In fact we have found it so joyful that it is one of those pieces we keep moving about in various rooms and places so we can easily gla nce at its compelling imagery. The mother foo dog appears a l ways in motion as she follows her mater nal instincts to gather her pup up to her. The pup, as you get to know him. Seems quite aware that his mother will prevail as he stretches to meet her reac h. All in all th e slender and undulating shape of the vase itself is quite grand. Even the base is co mpr ised of four elephant heads whose ears meld gracefully into the base itself and tru nks perform as delicate feet be ne ath the little outstretched tusks. We always believed ... morethe vase to be a master work. There is something supreme about the quality of its artistry as well as the execution in its entirety. We hope to be able to think back happily as we enter our retirement and know this beautiful artifact is resting joyfully in its new home. The patina is mottled with green here and there but we have enjoyed it as it is all these years and never polished it. From an examination of its interior. It may be that it once had a completely dark patina and through the years it was polished to a bright state. We don't know. However we are true antique buffs and just love the character of this wonderful creation as it ages and unfolds even further. Size is 11-7/8" tall. 5-1/2" wide, and 5-3/8" deep.

Vintage Unusual Porcelain Hydrangea Dish with Twig Handle At first glance this dish is quite stunning. Very unusual with delicate leaves and two hydrangea flower heads. Bottom is marked 1736 EBS with blue anchor Unfortunately several leaf tips are chipped off. The dish itself has only 3 or 4 small chips on the edge. Appears that handle was glued back on at both ends. Despite it's flaws. It is still a lovely piece. Delicate cleaning will be left to the buyer. Please see photos for detailed description. Possibly Egyptian and dating from the latter 19th century or early 20th century. Pierced decorative frieze around top. Unusual and Charming Small Victorian Silver Plate Pitcher, Creamer
This pitcher is a true find for all the pitcher collectors out there! It is made by the Middleton Plate co. Which was in business from 1864 through 1899 and was then bought out by the International Silver Co. So truly a Victorian treasure. It is adorned with lots of embellishments(notice the scroll work near the bottom) and has an interesting pouring interior. The lid closes nicely and covers the cream/milk from outside pollutants. It is in excellent shape, with one small dimple and a bit of discoloration near the handle. Measurements are: 5 ½" tall and 3 1/2" diameter. Handle adds another inch.
