Tama Superstar birch floor tom Cherry Wine finish 16" high X 18" diameter 1980's I bought this drum new with a kit in the 80's. The cherry wine finish is still in beautiful shape. This drum has barely been out of the house. And when it did leave home it was mostly to play at church. The heads are original- Remo CS on top, original mirror head on bottom. This is a great floor tom, but it could easily be converted into a bop size base drum. There's one scratch. And a few minor nicks in the finish. Please look at the photos to see how little it is. Rolling hills with autumn leave trees and a few buildings. This has been used and stored. There are various areas of wear- small chips to center of painting, some larger on the edges but overall this is in good pre-owned condition. A few pins are missing on the hinges(have only 6 for the 10 hinges) Owner is trying to find the rest but these might need to be replaced. Back side is blank. Painted cream color and there are some handling/dirt marks on it- could be easily repainted with another scene or a different color! Some age but I don't think this is more than 20 to 40 years ... moreold. No history and the painting is not signed. Very heavy- each panel weighs 14 lbs. for a total of 84 lbs. No feet on this piece. I have had the two main springs replaced by a professional restorer and this unit plays great and will play great for years. This is a well cared for machine and works great! Winds quietly and plays loud. Nice storage in the lower area. The finish is in very good condition with only minor surface scratches. Two very small veneer chips in the hood that could easily be filled. Beautiful carved feet. Auto-stop works great! This phonograph has four incredible front doors that are"booked" mirror images in veneer gorgeous tiger oak! NOTE! This comes with its original printed owners manual/brochure. Replogle 32" Diplomat Floor Globe - Circa 1965
Model IL3205. Replogle's flagship floor/library globe, produced from 1958 onward, this globe dates to 1965 according to the serial number(6554) and the status of the countries inscribed. Quintessentially a"snapshot" of the Cold War status of our ever-changing world. A similar example has enjoyed a permanent home in the White House for many years. The cradle/base is"hand-carved mahogany" approximately 30" wide x 41" wide with a full-ring thick brass engraved meridian. The meridian receivers are also solid, inlaid brass. The globe/orb is translucent molded plastic with coated paper gores and cartography by"Gustav Brueckman" with revisions by"LeRoy Tolman" There is a single, simple incandescent light bulb with a cord switch which illuminates the globe.
