I can mail in a plain envelope for $.50. I just aquired a bunch of vintage tokens. This one is 22mm across and made of copper. It's quite old and says Pear Street Exchange. Good for 5 cents in trade on the back. The picture makes it look like iron but that's because I had to lighten it enough for you to see the detail. It is in fair condition with a dark natural patina. Plate is also marked with impressed"Pearl White" Plate measures about 9 1/8" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few clusters of tiny bumps in the glaze. Done in the making and only really visible when viewed at the right angle in the right light. It appears to have had only very light use. Copper lustre decoration is in excellent condition, not worn. The variation of the lustre decoration from reddish to shiny copper in photos is just a function of lighting. Featuring an organic spray of leaves each of which is inlaid with mother of pearl. The box sits on four brass feet- these look to have had pads of rubber perhaps. Which are now lacking. I would date it to the late 19th Century. Ca 1895 The box measures of approx 37 x 19 x 8.3 cm. It is in good used condition with wear and marking in line with age and use- see pictures below. This magnificent bowl measures 1 1/4" tall 4 1/4" wide and features one imperial 5-toed dragon set on top of clouds and overall cloud repeat background.ottom of bowl. One Imperial Dragon inside of the bowl and two Imperial Dragons chasing the pearl on the outside of the bowl. The body of the bowl is copper. It is in very good condition with lovely satin feel surface and no exterior losses. You will note some scattered enamel losses(some associated with its making) inside on the underside of the rim where they are largely unseen. This is an awesome Concho handmade belt buckle with a lot of bling! It's certainly the top of Ebay of this style. Inlay TURQUIOSE. CORAL, Mother of Pearl and what looks like copper hand engraved INDIAN CHIEF in full headress. Awesome! You want to have bling& high quality then This is the one for you! The buckle fits up to a 1 5/8" belt. The back is unmarked the acid test results included at minimum.500 silver based on my acid results but certainly no expert. It was purchased from a high end estate sale where a lot of custom made jewelry was found both sterling and other like this one. It would have to be verified by a jeweler to be certain. This is one of several vintage pieces I am listing for a friend from her mother's estate. She was 89 years old when she passed away- some of the pieces were from HER parents and I will try and note the approximate age of the pieces based on the owner's approximate age. Two pair have somewhat flat half dome shapes- one pair with screw on backs is marked Sterling- need polishing and fake pearl part has wear. For sale is an extremely detailed little Antique or Vintage silver colored bowl that has tiny little Mother of Pearl chips or pieces on all 4 sides that make up 4 different scenes- 2 people talking. One person next to tree, 2 people again& a garden scene. Bowl measures just over 2" across the top and is 1.5" tall. Another site lists this style of bowl as a wine bowl. On the bottom is written in red paint"res.1911" or"reg 1911" I do not know if this was done at the same time as the bowl was made. It seems to be more of a registration or inventory mark, as it is not in the same style as the bowl. I believe the bowl may be silver enameled or painted copper, as some copper color is showing through the silver at the edges, but I do not know. Antique Copper Rectangle Mother of Pearl Push Through Cufflinks
About a year ago my grandmother died and we had to go through her house to divide everything. She had kept all of my grandfathers things and in them there was a box of cufflinks which no one knew what to do with so I asked if I could try to sell them on ebay. I liked the fact that there are so many different types and that they are jewelry made from many different metals. Plus easy to ship. These stackable trays used hammered metal in a pattern that held glass marbles around its circumference. The marbles were made by Akro Agate(or Vitro. Depending upon which site you check) We have seen them with 1939 World’s Fair emblems in the center. The bottom of this tray is marked“Fisher Jewel Tray” and“Pat 99857” It measures 3-1/4” in diameter and is in good shape. There is some wear to the finish. Especially on the bottom, and a few tiny green spots on the copper top. The copper has developed a nice patina over the past 70+ years.
