PEARL MASTERS Series MCX Bass Drum 22 x 18 All Maple Great Cond Chestnut Fade
This is a Pearl Masters Series MCX Bass Drum 22" x 18" diameter x depth) The color is Chestnut Fade. This drum is about 4 or 5 years old. In great condition. All original factory parts except for batter head. Tom receiving mount works perfectly. Legs work perfectly. There are some cosmetic flaws/imperfections: Pic 2 shows logo badge in normal daylight taken almost 2 years ago. Pic 3 shows current flash pic, it has slight'age-spotting' if seen close up. Pic 4- Batter hoop shows slight'imprint'wear on the top where a cowbell was mounted. The bottom of the batter hoop shows very slight wear(much less than the top) from where the bass pedal was attached. I always used a piece of thin cardboard to keep hoop from getting pedal damage. Pic 5- there are a couple of very light scratches near the lug that is located at 2 o'clock ... moreon front side. They are about 1 1/2 inches long and are very hard to see without bright light at a certain angle Pic 6- Was taken when i received this drum a couple of years ago. The lacquer was raised up along the seam. Over time, this strip of raised lacquer came off the drum(Pic 7) Not very wide but going along the seam the color difference is noticeable, and the absence of lacquer leaves this small bit of wood exposed. The flash makes the color contrast and overall appearance look very eggagerated. This flaw is not visible in normal set up, as it runs along the bottom of the drum. Some of the lugs show slight spotting. But no rust or pitting. This will not show up in pics. Comes with factory Pearl Logo Front Head. And Evans GMad Batter head that has been customized with the outer ring being removed and a felt ring from an Aquarian Superkick head glued to the perimeter. This batter head still works well. Fresh. Only played for about 6 months, loved the sound when I first bought it, decided to move to another kind of wood. Its got nickel plated Die Cast hardware and hoop, a Powerstroke 3 w/center dot on top that has plenty of life, and an Ambassador Hazy on the bottom. I swapped the snare wire for the 20 strand custom pro by Pure Sound, and a Trick throw off. it has amazing pop tons of body, and great response. Everything but the top head is in near mint condition. kept in a soft case or on a kit.

Beautiful Antique Chestnut Store Display Shelf. It came from a country store that opened in 1931and this shelf was in the store when it opened. I'm of the opinion it's much older or was constructed from older wood as the Chestnut tree was designated as extinct from the Asian Chestnut blight of the first quarter of the century. Antique Chestnut Glass Door Display Cabinet, was in Country Store since 1931
Beautiful Rustic Piece from a small town Indiana country store. This piece was put in the store when it was opened in 1931 but no one is sure if i's older or was made for the store. I would think it's older because of how scarce Chestnut was at that time. For anyone that doesn't know American Chestnut is considered extinct. They were killed in the first quarter of the cenury by an oriental blight that it had no resistance to. When they say extinct for a plant. There are still a few Chestnut trees but in such small quantities. This glass door cabinet is:15 1/2" wide X 13 1/2" deep X 65" tall. It is solid wood construction a combination of Oak and Chestnut, no plywood used in the making of this piece. It is in good and complete condition for its age. I see just one tack head missing, please see close up pic. The seat I believe is made of leather, but I am not postive. It is also in nice condition, no rips, no tears. THE BED: A crest of star burst carvings extend the entire length of the headboard beneath this is a slightly curved panel with incised carvings of leaves and flowers typical of the Eastlake period. The foot board has the same star burst and beehive style carvings on the legs. The rails have triangular shaped ends. The rails have been repaired and have been reinforced with metal braces on the inside. They are sturdy and this does not present an issue~see photos. The measurements are: headborad 74 inches high, footboard 32 inches high, 56 1/2 inches wide and 78 inches long. The mattress area is 53 1/2 inches by 73 inches. The weight is about 30 lbs. THE DRESSER: Offering ... morethe same carved top as the bed. The dresser also has the original beveled mirror which can be tilted down if needed. There are small holes on each side of the mirror which have been plugged at some point. All of the drawer fronts have the wonderful incised carving, original pulls and key escutcheons. The locks are intact but we do not have a key. The wood top is in excellent condition as is the entire chest. The measurements are 80 inches tall, 43 inches wide and 20 inches deep. The mirror is 23 inches tall and 29 inches wide. The weight is 50 lbs. THE WASHSTAND: This piece offers great storage with the same original pulls and incised carving. The measurements are 28 inches high. 30 1/2 inches wide and 17 inches deep. The weight is 25 lbs. This is a very nice sturdy set and at some time has been slightly white washed which can be seen if you look closely at the pictures. It's a good design for a factory, but bad for a table. So. We fix the rocking by adding an improved set screw to each end-wheel and ship a wrench with the cart so you can adjust the table just the way you want it. GREAT 1800s CHESTNUT MILKING STOOL ~ HEAVTWEIGHT CHARM and PATINA
Description: Here is an amazingly solid piece that is close to 200 years old and I can believe it because of the color and patina of this stool. It came from a farm in Cheshire County. New Hampshire that was only owned by three families since 1800. The man said as far as he knew it had“always” been on the farm and was in use until the late 50s when the farm sold its dairy herd and switched to hay and sweet corn. Since then the stool has lived in the farmhouse which probably helped preserve it in such great condition. I have sold a lot of small stools and crickets but few have as much character as this piece. Please look at all my pictures to judge color and condition for yourself. The stool top was made of a solid slab of chestnut and the legs are through mortised for strength and stability. The legs and stretchers are all thick and solid ... morewith some simple turned decorations that were most likely done on a spring pole lathe. The stool measures about 15” long X 10” wide X 9” tall and the seat is a solid 1 1/2" thick. This nice stool has EVERYTHING going for it and will make a nice addition to any collection and will probably still be as solid in another 200 years as it is now. Four wooden Barn Beam Pegs. Made out of American Chestnut wood. These pegs have been in my family for generations. My ancestors tore down a barn in the 1800s and used these wooden barn pegs to build a replacement barn. Since then that barn has been rebuilt and these wooden pegs were saved. They are in excellent condition. A great piece of history. The barn these came from are in South Central Pennsylvania. They are still dirty from when removed from the beams. They measure 1" wide. Vintage Japanese Chestnut Collapsable Table Stand
This is a small collapsable chestnut wood table with beautiful wood grain on top. Black lacquer on the sides, the legs and the bottom. The legs completely fold under the table. The metal locking bars underneath pull back and lock into the metal loop close to the side. When the table is on it's legs there is a bit of a wobble to the table. So it's not perfectly stationary. But we've pushed on it back and forth and as long as the bars are in their grooves the legs are locked in place. It looks like one of the wood braces may have been replaced as the wood is different and only half of it was painted/ lacquered. We thought it looked alright that way so we made no changes. It is structurally sound. This is perfect for when you want to put something out, display it, then later put it and the stand away without its storage taking up ... moretoo much room. Description This vintage circa 1920-30's Arts& Crafts chestnut roaster. Is hand worked in copper with lily leaf shaped dished bowl with a pattern of pierced holes. It is attached with copper rivets to a plain iron shaft with wrought end tapered and curled to form suspension loop or hook. This lovely old piece is not the best quality we have seen but it does have a great look to it. It is apparently unmarked and is basically in good condition with old marks, dinks, scratches and some rust marks to the handle, all consistent with its age and use. Length 54cm, width 20.7cm. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK / CHESTNUT FRAME w/ BEVEL GLASS MIRROR - GOOD CONDITION
ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK/ CHESTNUT FRAME WITH BEVELED MIRROR IN GOOD CONDITION. Frame is circa 1880’s. Outer measurements of the frame are approximately 24 ½ inches by 28 ½ inches. With an opening for the mirror of 16 inches by 20 inches. Frame contains a bevel beveled glass mirror. With about 1 inch of the bevel visible on all 4 sides. The mirror glass is in good condition– maybe not the original one in this frame– probably replaced many years ago. The oak/ chestnut was refinished many years ago– if you see photo of back you can see the dark original color. The finish is good– a nice dark honey color. Which shows off the graining of the wood. There are a few small chips in the oak– see my pictures. There is a narrow line– crack in one of the inside sections of the frame– about 3 inches long. And you probably won’t even find it. There ... moreis a narrow row of gesso carving on all 4 sides. The original gold tone liner is around the opening for the mirror. But there are some chips in it that were covered over when the gold was retouched. Looks good on the wall, but up close you can see the touch-ups on the gold. See my pictures. Frame with contents weighs just about 12 pounds before any packing materials. Old cardboard backing for the mirror. Frame is good and solid– corners are tight. No wiggle. ALL SALES FINAL. Early Chestnut Bottle Just a simply beautiful early to mid-19th century freeblown bottle. Aqua, 10 1/2 inches tall. Crude applied lip with a 1/8-inch chip on base of lip. Body is clean with a couple minor scratches and a potstone with no cracks. Base has good age wear and a pontil in the center. A well-kept bottle.

Beautiful New England Chestnut Flask. Only 5.5" tall. 3.5 to 3 5/8" wide Small dimple or indentation in one side which adds to its charm. Light wear on bottom from sitting on shelves for 200 years. The glass is in great condition a tiny. Tiny chip about the size of a fine point pen tip in one side. You have to look very closely to see it. Applied mouth ring with no damage. The pictures do not do justice to the color of this late 18th century New England chestnut bottle. IIt's a very transparent light olive green. With very little brown in it. Totally bubbly with mostly small bubbles, striations, some debris, the whole ball of wax, er, glass. Nice brown-olive color, with very visible striations and a good kick-up base. Appears to have two sand type pontils, one within the other- most unusual. Nice string lip. This is a beautiful piece of industrial history. The cart in this auction was taken apart and refurbished by the previous owner. it has a gloss finish. You can actually roll this cart on a white rug without it leaving a rust mark or stain. Roll it from one room to another without worry. It's solid.I use it for a coffee/dinning table. It's surface is smooth enough so no splinters grab you or your cashmere sweater. But the holes nicks. And years of use were purposely left alone. You see them But they are preserved. 1700s Freeblown Forest Glass Chestnut Flask Open Mega Pontil Mint Gourd Bottle
This auction is for a 1700s side flattened chestnut/ bladder shaped flask/ bottle/ gourd. This bottle is freeblown with an irregular sheared and re-fired lip. And an applied tooled V-shaped string rim. The shallow kick up base exhibits one of the crudest pontils going. Having parts where surprisingly large lumps of glass seem to have been ripped out of the base metal, and yet another place where a lump of added glass is stuck on. The light"aqua" green" glass has afairly even distribution of smallish bubbles of trapped air. And where the neck has been drawn out elongated bubbles have been stretched up to 1.5 inches long. Condition: Absoluteley no cracks or stars or chips or even fleabites. Apert from the odd light surface scratch. And light base wear, this bottle is mint. Some small faint but regular horizontal wear marks to ... morethe body indicate that this bottle spent most of its life in a protective wicker covering.
