Originally purchased in Santa Monica. California, this Sea Lamp is actually a reproduction, although you would never know it to look at it. It has an incredible copper patina on the lamp housing, and the tripod is the latest style in lighting. What’s old is new again, I guess. This has very few hours on it, so the electrics are perfect. Mah ogany shell with 30 degree bearing edges measures 18"x16" The Blake Flake wrap was discontinued in 2009 and looks very similar to a black diamond pearl wrap. Al l hardware is in great condition. Some signs of use on the floor tom legs. Wrap is on tight with only a couple of scuffs that are too hard to picture. LUDWIG concert tom trio sized 12"13"16" Used but not abused. They do show wear on the open sides. 12" tom has 3 rivets holding the seam& somebody crinkled up the badge. Sn#1604745. This drum is missing two tension rods. Both versions of mounting bracket on the rack toms. Grey sprayed interior on all the drums. The 13" also has a subtle lifting right comer badge. Sn#1604708 this drum also has seam drama. Silver dot head ripped through damn kids. 16" floor tom has had the dampener removed& is missing legs. This seam is lifting but still has a straight edge. Up for sale is a Gerald Thurston for lightolier. Sometimes mis-attributed to Mathieu Mategot. This is one of the earliest models judging by the power plug. A very early Gerald Thurston floor lamp standing 56" tall with a 23" diameter shade. A highly sought after Floor lamp with minimal footprint as an alternative to the Thurston tripod lamp(the model I'm selling is taller) It is capable of being tucked between furniture whereas the tripod model requires larger footprint area. This model has a very heavy poured 12" ... morewide ingot at the bottom stamped with model number and Lightolier's manufacturer mark, with the ingot itself having 6 feet as part of pour, resulting in the lamp being raised 1/2 above the ground. Above this rests a 12"metal curved thick plate cover, and above this a 7" white thick metal plate that contrasts the 3 poles that rise to the lamp diffuser and shade. The light socket is a three-way switch meaning three power levels can be used with an appropriate bulb providing the right lighting at various times from a soft glow to a full illumination of a room. Typically a 150 watt bulb is used. The white perforated metal sections disburse the light with concentration on downward and uninhibited up ceiling/wall washing. With a very large wide shade of 23" that does not blind you when being viewed, yet due to it's size provides a large amount of light. Modern Floor Lamp, Mid-Century. Kovacs, Sonneman, Laurel style, Marble base
Nice mid-century floor lamp with marble base. I have seen this attributed to aforementioned designers/manufacturers but really have no idea who came up with this. Approx. 51" tall as photographed. Taller if swivel lamp head is pointed upwards. It's a satiny gold finish cylinder with a more brassy(perhaps actual brass) neck. The base is a lovely carrera marble. Pretty heavy overall. There are a few flea-bites in the black inner paint on the outer edge of the cylinder, but that is an easy fix with some flat black or just polish down the outer edge. Overall, good vintage condition. And looking at it from a couple feet away, it looks great! USA only please, no exceptions. Thanks!

RARE PAIR OF VICTORIAN AESTHETIC STYLE FLOOR STANDING OIL LAMPS.
Unusual pair of Victorian Oil Lamps. Now converted to electricity. These aren't really in my field of knowledge. They are either floor standing or have stood on a large refectory type table. Feel free to guide me! I just liked the Aesthetic style detailing. The hexagonal column with twisted supports and square section legs with Aesthetic style dot detailing and diamond shaped feet. The lamps themselves are simple brass things with a hole drilled through the shade carrier for the cable. So could still be used as oil lamps. The shades are no part of the original lamps, they've just been used to hide the bulb. Having said that though. The shades are nicely etched and have a value of their own. For your consideration is an outstanding vintage medical floor lamp. Is metal with cast iron and white porcelain base measuring 11" diameter. Heavy. Solid, study. Lamp is adjustable in a variety of positions. The main stand is 30" tall, the middle extends to tallest height of 59" The very top arm is 9" long and articulates 90 degrees. The attached shade is 10" long by 10" diameter and also articulates 90 degrees. All adjustments are made with neat large vintage wing-nuts.
