Up for sale is a fabulous wicker floor lamp from the 1920's. I'm cleaning out a 90 year old ladies house and this is one of her prized possessions. Hard to find small sized floor safe dating from the 1880’s! This easier to handle small version floor safe measures: 21 inches tall by 13.5 inches wide by 15 inches deep. The door opening measures 11.5 x 7.5 inches. Weight: about 175 pounds. Condition: The outside of the safe was painted numerous times with the last coat the light green color. The combo is available and the locking mechanism works perfectly, the center of the brass combo lock is printed with“Pat’d Oct 2, 88- 19556” the interior is clean and in very good shape: the interior of the door is stenciled with 7 patents dated from the 1880’s, the key is missing from the inside small door- but it is open. Antique Ultra Small Cast Iron Floor Safe Very old. Charming little cast iron safe. Original paint and stenciling have seen better days. But the graphics on the door have won the battle against time. Holding onto its age old character with pride! The interior is generic and functional. And the two shelves are just simply resting on top of the supports. They are snug. However, against the sides of the safe so they won't flop around during shipment. Three number combination works perfectly and will be included with safe. What's interesting and unique about this safe is that it has a full size. 3" dial instead of a tiny. Small diameter dial typically found on a safe this size. The dial is smooth and turns effortlessly and is numbered 1- 100. The door opens and closes freely and seats perfectly into the body of the safe. Although ... morewhen locked. Is just slightly loose(about 1 mm of play) This is due to wear on the inside of the safe behind the rim where the door pins deploy. Again. Classic handmade Wool floor runner area rug. Needlepoint persian style, 8' x 2' exact size is 8' by 25" all edges bound in black, the area next to the binding is black also with some brown in it, used condition-clean and in very good condition. There are no labels with this rug so i don't know for sure that it's wool but it looks and feels like wool, I do not know where it was made, or how it was made. The pics show the rug accurately, no holes or stains but it is used and a little matted down although it probably could benefit from a cleaning. It's very pretty and weighs 10# unpackaged. Gorgeous Art Deco Floor Lamp w Reverse Painted Shade-Works Too
Here I have a gorgeous Art Deco floor lamp with a beautiful embossed. Reverse painted glass shade. I tried to get the lamp shade in different lighting to show you how beautiful this shade is, way better than just a diffuser. Design and lovely color, soft satin color on the outside a fresh on the inside of the globe. It is 4 1/2" tall, 6 3/4" across the top and 2 1/4" opening at the fitter. These opening measurements were"outside" measurements. I feel a tiny dip on the inside of the shade, thought it could be a chip, but it has the same shiny sheen as the rest of the inside shade, so this must be a manufactures flaw. It is not noticeable unless you are running your finger around the opening. The lamp is working and quite heavy, cast iron is my slightly educated guess. It is a numbered lamp, C267, on the underside of ... morethe octagonal base. See last photo, at about 7 o'clock on the base, it is embossed but a bit difficult to see. The lamp is in excellent condition, standing at 49" tall without a shade in place. The design has plumes and fan like spreads, the very top of the center pole looks like a fancy hairpin from the 20's-30's but also mimics a woman in a dance form. A very artistic lamp with movement standing still. Stunning patina too. The arm is 12 1/2" from end to end. The base could use a better cleaning and there are a few little drips of a room paint. Why the lamp wasn't taken OUT of the room when painting I can not even guess. See the top of the base in photos 10 and 11. It is 11 3/4" across the middle, no rust anywhere. A little bit of paint remover and just a tad of elbow grease is all that is needed. The electric cord is supple with no exposed wire, original Bakelite plug, which is non polarized. Wiring should be replaced at some point for safety sake. The cup that holds the shade and bulb housing is 3 7/8" tall, and just under 2 1/2" across the top. Antique Deco / Nouveau Bridge Floor Lamp-Works Needs a Little TLC
Here I have a beautiful Deco/Art Nouveau bridge floor lamp for your consideration. The lamp works. The bulb socket can be adjusted for light right where you need it. See first two photos. It is a very pretty lamp with a gun gray center pole and shiny, in spots, copper toned top and spacer in the upper half of the pole. The round base still shows a lovely flower design but has some old, dry rust, this is where most of the TLC comes in. It needs some good old fashioned elbow grease type cleaning, and perhaps copper cleaner unless you enjoy an aged patina. In either case this will end up a charming addition to your home. Standing at 57" tall. The base is 9" across and the beautiful arm extends 8 3/4" across. The cord is pliable with no exposed wire, it appears to have been rewired in the not so distant past. It has a non polarized ... moreplug. There are miles of cord, and some kind of metal hook with black tape around the base, see photo# 9. My guess is this is where the owner held all that excess cord( I did not remove the tape, I will leave that to the new owner. Pre packaged weight is 7 pounds. There is a piece that has broke off over the years on the front. The outside dimensions are 9 3/4" wide" x 13 3/4" tall, will fit into a 8" x 12" opening. The grate was removed from a house in Upstate New York. The louvers open and close freely. The paint is black along with paint chipping and very slight surface rust. The top light swivels up and down and from side to side and the center joint allows this to swivel almost 360 degrees around and also allows it to fold up and down. Both have their original mounting bracket which also swivels, just takes 4 screws or bolts to mount these. Stretched out, each one measures approx. 49” long, the square steel tubing is 1 1/2” square, the ... morelight housing is approx. 9” long overall by 8” across the front of it. With such range of motion on these lamps, they can be used on a wall, ceiling, floor, or even a table application if needed. These use normal 110 wiring and light bulbs, the wiring which is in good condition. Both are in good used condition with just some finish wear and normal age paint chips. Vintage Hollywood Meazzi 16 x 16 Floor Tom Drum Red Sparkle Rare Italian
Vintage Hollywood Meazzi floor tom. Measures 16" x 16. Red sparkle finish. No extra holes. Missing both hoops. Legs, 1 lug, 1 tensioning arm(which corresponds to the missing lug) and foot pedal. Hardware has some light pitting and oxidation but would clean up nicely. Nice bearing edges and interior with a couple of very tiny dents on bottom edge. Bottom edge shows slight separation in plies in one spot(about 4 inches) Top of drum has reinforcement ring while the bottom does not. Nice condition overall. Great project drum.
