First of all they are 17 ¾ inches by 15 ¾ inches(outside) 9 ¾ inches by 7 ¾ inches(image area) They are in very nice condition, but not perfect. They do have some rubs, minor nicks, and some discoloration in the gold areas. These were purchased at an estate sale. They do each have glass in them, with a wood backing, ready for you to add your favorite photo or painting. The outside frame itself is 4 inches in width and 3 ¾ inches thick. It is actually 3 frames together, the inner frame being the gold gilt. You have a nice 1 ½ inch black carved portion, setting off the two gold frames. Wonderful pair of antique pictures in frames with curved glass
This is a wonderful pair of antique pictures. I can't find any signature on them. They are in timber frames with curved glass and the original backing. I have tried to show you the curved glass in Photograph 7. They measure 13.5cms wide and 10.5cms tall. They are in very good antique condition- although there is a fox mark on the top left of the one with the man sitting on the left. Antique Pair of Eastlake Victorian Black Forest Picture Frames with Bird Prints
Up for bids we offer this pair of antique. Black Forest picture frames with no reserve. From the Victorian period, they are made of black walnut with carved surfaces that resemble crisscrossed tree branches. Each of the frames overall measurements is 10 5/8" by 8 3/8" and each has an opening that is 6 5/8" by 4 3/8" They are well-built and still tight and sound. Both are in very good, overall condition but one does have a 1 inch crack in the glass in the upper right corner and the other is missing a small piece of wood in the back which isn't visible when hanging on a wall. They currently have matching prints of birds, one a Scarlet Tanager and the other a Downy Woodpecker. I am guessing a bit at them bei ng French but i do know they are from Europe. Amazing burled veneer that i believe is walnut but could possibly be elm too. Out stan ding condit ion with no losses to the veneer and a beautiful golden patina. Each frame has three rosette de corations at the bottom. A metal ri ng at th e top and a half round leaf and berry accent p iece on each side. Solid lap joint const ruction. They are both marked PAT APR 24-94 on the back of the frames very clearly with a matching number(possibly style number) near the patent markings. The marks are engraved on the backside of the frame. They are in good shape with some signs of age and also still have the glass with the frame. The edges of the glass are rough cut. The frames have a lovely. Leafy design. These are large frames and has the original patina in good condition and measures approximately 9" across and 12" tall. Each weighs almost 2 pounds. They would make a nice addition to a collection or would also make a lovely touch to any home on any Vanity or Dresser. Very fancy with deep flower and scroll work. But otherwise they are in very good condition. They're a really pretty pair of frames. With wonderful detail. The inside section is partially gold gilded and partially painted gold. The exterior section is molded gesso over wood with copper and bronze color metallic leaf. Popular during the anesthetic movement period. Just out of a local house is this very nice pair of antique wall hung picture frames that were used for framing Daguerreotypes. They have flowers and ladies faces on an ornate scroll design frame. They both have their original decorated glass inserts and remnants of their paper labels that were marked Daguerreotype. I have seen this called Napoleon III frames. The frames measure 9 7/8 inches high and 8 inches at its widest. The frames are in good condition with some cracking. Small chips, and wear to the finish. The glass insert in one is in excellent condition but the other insert has some of the black reverse paint flaking. See photos. Pair Floral Needlepoints in Antique Deep Walnut Frames
This is a pair of hand-stitched needlepoint floral compositions. Each framed in a matching deep walnut frame. The outer measurements of the frames are 12 inches wide, 14 inches long, and 2 1/2 inches deep. The needlepoints have been stretched over wood and when framed extend the depth by 1/2 inch more. There is glass above the textile, so there is a bit of glare in the photos. The frames have a gilt lining and layers of black painted wood that contrast nicely with the walnut. There is one small fissure in one corner of a frame, shown in the photo. The conition of the frames is very good, with minimal signs of age, and the textiles are in excellent condition. We did not find a signature, but did not remove the needlepoints from the frames. Up for sale is a Ornate pair of Antique Victorian Gesso on Giltwood frames. These frames were likely manufactured between 1870 and 1890. The gesso paint appears to be all original. These frames are in great and hangable condition. There is some very light age appropriate wear. And one spot(pictured) of gesso loss that is easily repairable and difficult to notice. These frame are meant to hold a 20x24" piece.The back opening is exactly 20 1/4 by 24 1/4 inches with a 1/8" lip all the way around the inside on which the picture or mirror can rest. Pair Of Antique Art Nouveau Gold Picture Frames. This is a Pair Of Large Antique Art Nouveau Gold Gilt Convex Oval Wood Frames With Pictures. The dimensions are: 25 inches by 19 inches. Captain Joseph and Hannah Juliand settled in Hornby, NYS, now known as Greene, NY. Their son, Joseph Juliand, along with his wife Cornelia, opened the Juliand House in 1810. This inn is still an ongoing business in Greene as a successful bed& breakfast. These early framed pictures were taken out of the bed& breakfast. We have been unable to find photographs of Joseph and Cornelia, but logic would suggest they are of the Juliand House originators.

Antique Victorian Pair Large Oval Black & Gold Wood and Gesso Picture Frames
This is a stunning pair of antique Victorian era oval picture frames that are identical and in very good condition. All of the floral gesso designs on the frame are complete and intact and the wood is excellent. The paint is all intact(a few scratches have been touched up but they blend in well) The black is still glossy and not faded and the areas of floral gesso have gold accents. There is no glass included for either. And the photos that are in the frames are rough. There are screws on the back with wire attached for wall hanging, but the wire will probably need to be tightened or replaced because it seems to be too long. The frame dimensions are 21" W x 25" H. PAIR ANTIQUE GESSO& GILDED TRIANGLE FRAMES Up for your consideration is this PAIR OF GESSO& GILDED TRIANGLE PICTURE FRAMES. Each side measures 40.5" long. And from top to bottom they measure 35.5" ht. Each side of the picture opening is 22.5" long. There are 4 different layers of wood covered with different designs of gesso(plaster) They have the wood backers and glass still in them. They have a little gesso missing here and there, but overall look very good. This is the first pair of these frames I have seen. I have seen the triangle flag shadow box type, but not picture frames. They are beautiful and they certainly are unique. Please look at my other items I currently have listed. I try to list 60 to 80 new items every week. I combine shipping, pack items right, and ship them out upon payment.
