Vtg. Art Deco Bird Glass chip over-layed on metal frame Tramp Art Unique
Antique Tramp art Bird made with metal body with small glass chips over-lay. I am not positive of the exact composition of the bird's body. But feet and tail are metal with a brown material between the metal and the glass chip overlay. Body is very hard and solid on the outside. Bird measures 12 inches from beak to end of tail. About 8 inches tall, and 3 3/4 inches across breast. Due to the age of the bird. Many of the glass chips are missing and coming loose. The loose glass chips will be sent along. I have up for sale a very nice vintage original Antique circa early 1900s gold or brass toned metal Ribbon Top bubble glass oval picture frame. The frame including the ribbon top measures approx 22" top to bottom. The oval approx 20" top to bottom by 14" wide. The inside measurements for the photo or picture would be approx 19" x 13.5" The frame is made of metal- it magnetizes and has a gold or brass tone plating. The top ribbon section does not magnetize- not sure if it is brass or not. The frame is in Excellent Original Condition and comes with the original rope twist wall hanger accoutrement. It looks to be in good displayable condition. The little metal tab on the back is missing but could be replace d with another piece for wall display. It has the raised convex/bubble type glass. Very unique and I can tell it's vintage. Maybe 1930's? but. Not sure. It measures framed approximately 5 inches top to bottom and approximately 4 inches side to side. For the age. Old Antique Vintage Bubble Glass Religious Diorama with a metal frame
This antique piece has a very nice frame. The frame is metal with the flowers having the original green and pink coloring added to it. The edge is a hammered gold color. The metal back is secure although one of the metal flaps have dislodged but it does not effect the back staying one. There is a piece of wire for hanging. The frame can also be hung the other way. There is a hole in the frame for hanging vertical as well. The picture inside is of the last supper and is in good shape. The picture is framed with a wire and white/pink thread design that is very nice. The dried flowers has maintained their color nicely. 2 vintage round framed dried flowers under bubble glass. I don't know how old these are. Total size- ribbon length- approximately 17" Frames are 4 1/2" in diameter with convex bubble glass. Frames are made of metal and have a rope design on the front rim. Both frames have a metal? wicker basket. One picture has dried pink and yellow flowers and the other has blue and yellow flowers. Background I think is brown paper with stippled design in the basket area. Both frames are attached to an old brown satin ribbon with a bow on top that has a little metal circle to hang it up. Glass is in great condition- frames have very light wear to the finish. Ribbon is alright but does have fraying on the ends. The designs with flowers and wicker basket are all in very nice condition. Vintage very heavy metal wall hanging picture frame inset with rounded glass measures approximately 13 1/2 inches by 10 inches. The backing is felt and there is a tag that says made in Italy on it. The felt shows some wear and there is a hanger at the top. There is a small area on the bottom of the elaborate scroll where the metal is separated on each side but it is very hard to see unless you look closely. This is a very nice solid piece.
