ANTIQUE BLUE VICTORIAN PERFUME BOTTLE DOUBLE ENDED WITH SILVER LIDS
This is another perfume bottle from my 96 year old Mom's estate. This is an exquisite antique double ended glass perfume bottle with repouse decorative Sterling( Silver lids. One lid screws on and the other is hinged. I believe the end that screws on was originally used for smelling salts. Where the other was used for perfume. The hinged lid has what looks like a 4 leaf clover and the other lid has a intricate design of what looks like a flower in the middle and leaves surrounding it. Both lids have a firm and secure fit and there are no dents. The silver tops do not have a hallmark. So I am not sure if the tops are sterling or not. Many of these early Victorian pieces were unmarked sterling. The bottle is in very good condition; the glass part has diamond shaped facets with no cracks or breaks. The only thing missing is the tiny glass ... morestopper which is not usual since they usually didn't fit securely in these perfumes. This perfume bottle measures 4" long and approx. 15/16" in diameter. This is a quality double ended Victorian perfume bottle in great condition. THIS WILL BE A NICE ADDITION TO SOMEONE'S COLLECTION. This auction is for an antique victorian style flower rhinestone soft pink atomizer perfume bottle. The item is in good condition. No chips or cracks to the glass. It does spritz liquid however it is missing the inside extender tube to reach liquid at the bottom of the bottle. It is replaceable by just snagging one off of a bad or old bottle. Has a thick and heavy decorative glass base and the metal part is made of brass. The flower top is made of glass rhinestones& frosted rhinestones. Large 8 3/4 inch ANTIQUE, VICTORIAN BRASS FILIGREE PERFUME BOTTLE.
This is really a beautiful piece. Please check my pictures as they are part of my description. As you can see. The glass applicator is broken but most of it is there and with a dot of glue, it's an easy fix. There is a couple spots of minor tarnish that I didn't try to clean but I'm sure it could be cleaned.It stands nice and strait but the base is possibly pushed in ever so slightly. As you can see in the pictures, It looks great. On one of the BEVELED glass panels, there is a small area where the metal doesn't fit tightly to the glass but when I look with a jewler's loop, it appears that it may have been that way since it was made because the only thing keeping it raised is brass solder. The few flaws are very minor and when this is on your dresser, all you see is beauty.

Gold is marked on the inside of cap: Crown hallmark(inside a circle) DILLER" above crown, a curly line below crown, within another circle. The inside of the cap has glass, covering the hallmark. This glass has a concave center, with ground edges. Made by Thomas Diller, Born c.1807- Died 1871, London. Hinged cap. Push button to open. Both the hinge, and button are in good working condition, snapping open& closing good. Thick, heavy cut crystal glass bottle, is round in shape(7 sided) with a flat front& back. Displays nice laying flat, or will stand upright, a little to the left, or right. Inside glass bottle is not clear, and has milky white spots. There are 4 flea bites, which are all on the edges. Antique Victorian Stearn Perfume Bottle
This lovely creation was made by the Frederick Stearn and Co. of Detroit. Michigan during the late 19th Century. Established in 1855 it was one of the leading pharmaceutical and perfumers in the U.S. This gorgeous example is made of heavy glass with faceted stopper. The bottle is in Good Condition with one tiny fleabite on the lip and bubbles and imperfections in the glass made during it's creation. The stopper is also in good condition with a few nicks in the very bottom, one fleabite on the top of one facet, and one nick at the top of the base of the stopper. Antique Victorian hand blown gilded glass tear catcher or perfume bottle
This is a mid-Victorian. Hand blown glass bottle. Bottles in this shape were sometimes used for perfume and sometimes for mourning as a tear catcher or lachrymatory bottle. It's said that a widow would collect her tears in the bottle and empty them on the grave of her husband on the anniversary of his death. This bottle measures 5" and. Remarkably, still has its original stopper. It retains almost all of its gilding on the top, bottom, sides, and stopper, though it has rubbed off in some places from being handled. The sides are etched with crosses for grip. No chips or cracks.

Antique English Double Ended Ruby Red Perfume Bottle - Victorian Sterling Silver
A really pretty and charming perfume or scent bottle in a fabulous rich ruby red colour. This is a slightly more unusual example of a Victorian double ended bottle. This one having a cylindrical form rather than the more often seen faceted type. The lids too are a little more unusual, again made from sterling(unmarked as most of these bottles were not) silver with a pretty floral embossed decoration. One end is hinged, with the little glass stopper intact and the other end is a screw-top with the cork to the inside of the lid to keep the liquid from evaporation. The"Rubina Verde" refers to the combination of the Rose and green colored glass. The glass has been twisted and then pinched to make"feet" at the bottom. All this is done while the glass is still hot and it is a very difficult process to get everything formed before the glass cools too much. The glass on the bottom is very thick in order to accommodate making the feet. So you will see a few circular irregularities in the glass when looking at the bottom. These are not cracks or damage but instead are a normal part of the manufacturing process and have been there since it was made. They are actual voids in the glass. An amazing perfume bottle. This is a true antique! Made of very heavy, thick glass in candlewick style, it makes a statement at 7.5" tall! It has some dried pine needles inside that could be cleaned out(I think when I was about 4 I wanted to save the smell of Christmas: but I did not want to'wash' it incorrectly because of its age-I will leave that to you. This bottle is coated in what I believe to be brass filigree that is adorned with some'jeweling' in red stone or glass( that is also in the crown of the stopper. Impressive cut glass perfume. Cologne or after shave bottle, English made, hallmarked on both lid and bottle neck, silver from first part of 1800, Victorian. Weight: 600g = 21.164 oz. Height: 6 US-inches(150 mm) Condition: a flea bite on the inside of the neck(see photo) and unfortunately the first owner has made some dents and scratches on the dome top(see photos) The thread is perfect.
