VINTAGE ART DECO HOLY WATER GLASS BOTTLES VIALS CATHOLIC LAST RITES Up for auction are two VINTAGE HOLY WATER BOTTLES. The larger one is ART DECO. Circa 1940s with classic lines and measures 4 1/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches. The cross and decoration look to be baked on white enamel. It is marked K inside a shield, 3 and 194 on the bottom. The smaller bottle measures 3 3/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches and has a convex relief cross and raised relief words Holy Water. Both of the tops appear to be and smell like BAKELITE or Catalin plastic and consists of two parts- the little center piece screws off to reveal a little opening to sprinkle last rites. One has a cork insert and the other one has what looks like a plastic insert- both have a little dirt. The lid has a cork inside to keep the water from leaking but I havn't tested it. The lid has a little spot on each side which looks like a little flaw. Italian Marble Font - 1944 - 7.5" High, 10" Octagon Shape
This font is engraved to Helen. Italy, 1944. It was brought home from Italy by an American soldier. The top of the font is octagonal in shape. And measures 10" the height is 7.5" Under the top piece is a small octagonal shaped piece, then a small column, another octagonal piece, and finally, the base, which is 6.5" in diameter and about an inch thick. The pieces appear to be held together by epoxy or some strong adhesive, there is no evidence of screws or bolts. It weighs approximately 17 pounds.

Welcome to Antiques& Moore! This listing is for a wonderful antique French Holy Water Font. C. 1900. Beautiful heavy chased silver metal plaque with Jesus giving Communion to a child. Design in high relief with gold accents. The plaque is marked"Tairac" on bottom edge. The plaque is mounted to a polished piece of white onyz. Crystal font was probably made of Baccarat crystal with gilt bronze decorative band. Silver content of plaque has not been tested. Measures 5" long. 3 1/8" wide with the bowl being 1 1/2" deep(front to back) We find no flaws on the silver plaque and it has nice patina. This is a very high quality item and you will definitely be pleased. The onyx has some rough edges and a couple of dings on the corners(see photos) but is still in very nice Estate condition. Vintage Church Brass Double Candleholder with shell shaped holy water font
This vintage brass double candleholder with a shell shaped holy water font is probably from a church or chapel. Perhaps it was used in a home chapel. We are not sure if it is solid brass or a combination of solid brass and brass plating. We do not think there is any gold or brass colored paint on it. With the exception of the short flat center vertical support where there might be gold paint on the back side( specter? The inside of the holy water holder does have a white painted finish. We have owned this piece for many years, and we have not touched its patina(i.e. we never polished it, but, of course the new owner is free to shine it up) There is only one small break/ crack in it that was there when we got it. As you look at it. Just to the left of the leaves at the center, there is a small crack at the top of the"arm" just as ... moreit curves out from the center. Also at the lower back edge of the round base, there is a rough spot and it is difficult to tell if it was a manufacturing"flaw" or if it is an old repair. The details of the grape leaves and of the shell are quite nice. The beautiful shell is the main reason we purchased this years ago. The diameter of the round base is 5" The total height is about 7 1/2" The width is about 10 1/2" Whether you want these for ecclesiastical or secular use. This beautiful piece will fit into many collections- of brass, candlesticks, candleholders, candelabra, holy water fonts, shells, shell shaped dishes, grape leaves, etc. This double candleholder certainly originally was the base for a Crucifix(Christ on the cross) which is obviously no longer in the"holder" in the center. Madonna blue holy water glass bottle & stopper 14" vintage Mexico
14" tall bottle. Including stopper. Crudely made vintage bottle with large pontil mark. Embossed Pier 6251 and Guadjalmex. Info on similar bottles on ebay indicates vintage and made in Mexico. This bottle is larger than most listed and only one with stopper. Bottle found with stopper, not guaranteed to have come with stopper. Does fit very nicely and match, see pic 4. Vintage Crucifix Jesus Dble Candle Holder Font Sacred Heart Anchor Shell Thorns
Vintage Crucifix Jesus Font Candelabra Item is cast heavy metal with an aged silver gray color. Jesus on the cross with two ornately detailed candle holders and shell shaped font for holy water. Each side of the square bottom with different symbols including the sacred heart; cross. Anchor and heart; cross with crown of thorns and an urn or jar. Bottom marked Made in U.S.A. Has minor paint loss throughout and the tip of the cross is bent as shown in picture. 1/8" crack at the bent but no movement to that area. We've taken off most of the candle wax but some is still present. Measures 10 1/2" tall by 7 1/2" across and 3 1/2" deep at the square base.

This is an antique porcelain china holy water wall box font. It has Jesus on the Cross at the top. It is white china and has a raised pattern highlight with gold guilt highlighting. It has no chips. Cracks or scratches but much of the gold guilt has been worn away(see photos) It is about 6 1/2" high and about 3 1/2" wide.

Vintage Victorian Bisque Catholic Holy Water Font Altar Icon Holy Family Plaque
Hello everyone. I'm listing in this auction a beautiful example of a vintage holy water font, I believe that the font is German but I can't find a makers mark. The font is a rare primitive design find. It's a white bisque porcelain with gilt details. It measures about 8" tall and the condition is wonderful considering the age, it has no chips, no cracks and no repairs but there is wear to the gilt trim. Expect the signs of wear for something that's true vintage or antique. I haven't cleaned it, but I will tidy it up before shipping, and it will be a great addition to any collection or to use and display. Feel free to ask me any questions. Our Lady of Lourdes Old Holy Water Font Ornate Heavy Cast Metal - Made in France
Our Lady of Lourdes Holy Water Font This is a lovely. Ornate, old holy water font. It is made entirely of cast silvertone metal. It depicts Our Lady of Lourdes as she appeared in the grotto. Around her head, inside the halo, are the words Je suis l'immaculee conception. The area behind the Blessed Mother looks gold in some of the photos. But it is actually silver color. Mary's halo is the only part that has a gold tone. The decorations include roses and other flowers. Measures about 9 1/2" tall. There a hook for hanging on the back, but it can stand on its own. Says Made in France in two places on the back. There is tarnish inside the water font. On a small section of the halo, and on the right side and front of Mary's dress. They appear as darker areas that I hope you can see in the photos. There are other small bits of ... moretarnish here and there. I have not attempted to clean this. I believe the water cup, the statue. and the back were cast separately and assembled together. Weighs over a pound. Overall, very lovely. No cracks or missing pieces. An old piece, but I don't know its age. This belonged to my mother, who was born in 1919. Please pay via PayPal within 3 days of auction close. I can usually combine items for lower shipping.
