Unique and Beautiful Mid Century Modern Sectional Danish style sofa couch
This is beautiful. About 5x5 2 parts. The story I was told is that this was custom made in Asia in the 60's for an affluent ship captain. I can't confirm any of that but no one I have ever showed it to has ever seen anything like it and it has no markings. Very well built and in excellent condition. It has teak trims. There is a storage compartment that comes out like a trundle. The cushions on the back hook on yo the back board in a very unique way. There is storage behind the bent cushion. seat cushions may need cleaning. Smoke free animal free home You will never see another one like this. Message me with any questions before bidding. Domino Mobler Teak Sofa Couch Wool Oatmeal Upholstery Danish Modern
Domino Mobler sofa. In very good condition considering it's age and use.is approx. 72" wide x 30" tall x 30" deep. The fabric(wool. I believe) is in great condition with very little wear at all, no stains, tears or bad smells.one cushion has original tag attached and I have no reason to believe the upholstery has ever been replaced. Oatmeal color with a nubby texture, and since it's wool, yes, it's a bit scratchy.so if you're sensitive to that please don't buy a wool sofa! Appears to be a nice, heavy fabric that will wear well. There are a few"pulls" in the fabric but they are minor and hard to see with it's texture. The area around the screws that attach the cushions to the frame are a bit worn and dirty. I do not know if this sofa has been in a smoking enviornment, it doesn't smell like ... moresmoke. I do have cats but they have not been on the sofa ever, I do not know if the sofa previously ever had pets on it but I do not see any sign of that. The wood frame(teak) is in good-very good condition. The finish is in good shape with no discernible fading. There are scratches, most of them pictured, in the following locations: base of the legs has the worst scuffs/scratches/marks, including some that are quite long. Some of this may be surface and removable, I've made no attempt to clean or refinish the wood. There is a small nick/scratch on top of one arm, pictured. There is a scratch on underside of one arm, and some on the front rail under the cushions. The front top of the posts have some light scratches, and there are heavy scratches and wear in the areas where to cushions attach to the frame's hardware. Please note that almost all of the worst scratches, etc. are in locations that are normally either not readily visible or hard to see. The left side posts and rails are coming a bit detached from each other, this can be easily repaired.you can see the slight gap in one picture. Each sofa measures 55" wide(110"when together) 34"deep, 28 1/2"tall. These are a vintage set. So some minor scuffing on legs and wear to cushions and fabric is to be expected. Previous owner added one small leg reinforcement on the undercarriage that is 100% sturdy and not visible unless you lift sofa and look under. The couch was reupholstered in the 1980s and the foam is soft. Could use a surface clean, there is one spot on the back right side of the sofa where the pillow sits, but otherwise minimal wear as expected from use and age. Fresh out of a smoke free estate, the couch and chairs look great and feel great as well, I am not into this style of furniture(we normally buy primitives for our store) but when we seen this on a house call me and my wife knew we had to buy it, all three items are in excellent condition, no staining at all that we can see, no rips or tears either( I can see only one pinky size tear in the webbing underneath one chair) some of the legs have tape brown electric style tape wrapped around them I didn't take this off I think this was done to protect them from scuffing. The legs are slanted and they are all very tight, no wobbling. The cushions on the couch are the same design front and back while the chair cushions have the same green look on one ... moreside and on the other it has a 1960's patio furniture floral design(it is a cloth style fabric) the items all have a maker badge of"International" We had sold this couch a few hours initially after listing it last week, the man who had bought it realized it was not going to fit down the hallway of his apartment, so here it is again for sale. Update to comments in RED.I've since disassembled this end of the sofa and found at some point someone glued these pieces together causing the separation(I think it was dong long ago as the glue was old and dried out)I(carefully) disassembled this end and removed the old glue. Then reassembled it. So now the gaps are much tighter and it looks better. I did notice that some glue had gotten on to the finish and so add that to the list of scratches, etc. that you may want to remove.I didn't attempt it. Domino Mobler sofa. In very good condition considering its age and use.is approx. 72" wide x 30" tall x 30" deep. The fabric(wool. I believe) is in great condition with very little wear at all, no stains, tears or bad smells.one cushion has original tag attached and I have no reason to believe the upholstery has ever been ... morereplaced. Oatmeal color with a nubby texture, and since it's wool, yes, it's a bit scratchy.so if you're sensitive to that please don't buy a wool sofa! Appears to be a nice, heavy fabric that will wear well. There are a few"pulls" in the fabric but they are minor and hard to see within it's texture. The area around the screws that attach the cushions to the frame are a bit worn and dirty. I do not know if this sofa has been in a smoking enviornment, it doesn't smell like smoke. I do have cats but they have not been on the sofa ever, I do not know if the sofa previously ever had pets on or around it. The wood frame(teak) is in good-very good condition. The finish is in good shape with no discernible fading. There are scratches, most of them pictured, in the following locations: base of the legs has the worst scuffs/scratches/marks(i.e. old paint bits) including some that are quite long. Some of this may be surface and removable, I've made no attempt to clean or refinish the wood. There is a small nick/scratch on top of one arm, pictured. Metropolitan Post Modern Metro Loveseat Sofa Couch (Brian Kane?)
Beautiful vintage loveseat/sofa most likely post-modern. Created by the Metropolitan Furniture Company(Metro) out of California. This petite beauty measures 55" across. 27 tall and 30" deep. It weighs roughly 75-85 lbs. Structurally the couch is fairly sturdy and sound. The upholstery has some fading from the sun which is more clearly seen from the back of the sofa. There are around a half dozen small stains and a small 1/2" hole as shown in the pic. The hole unfortunately is in the middle of the seat. I have no evidence of the designer but do know that Brian Kane was part owner of Metro for a time. Buyer must make ALL packing and shipping arrangements. Thank you.

Two pieces can be positioned together to make one long sofa or used any number of ways. Each piece measures 51" long. 28" tall at the back and 34" deep. Wood legs and edge detail are in great shape. Mid century modern Kroehler sofa in very good vintage condition. Fabulous fifties nubby texture fabric has no tears or odors. A few small areas of light staining are depicted in the photos. I will leave it up to the new owner to decide whether or not to spot treat. I would imagine that this piece would clean up beautifully with a good steam cleaning. The fabric on the front left arm has been tacked up with 6 very small staples(see photos) I'm not sure why as the fabric doesn't appear to sag in any way. Perhaps there was once a piece of cardboard or cloth attached to deter a pet's attention. Mid Century Sectional Modern Sofa Vintage Couch Milo Baughman Eames Wood Veneer
This is a vintage. Mid century modern low profile sectional sofa, probably from the late 60's-early 70's. Not sure who designed or made it, but its very similar to some of the Milo baughman pieces from that era. It's a 3 piece sectional. The largest piece has the attached side table. And measures approx 83" long. Then 2nd sofa piece measures approx 66" long, and is approx 26" deep. The 3rd piece, the connecting wedge, or"triangle" Adds an additional 44" of length to each side. Giving all 3 pieces an overall length of approx 127" on the long side(with the attached table included) and 110" of overall length on the shorter side. The frame is well built. And quite heavy. The wood grain is a dark, chocolate black colored synthetic veneer, and the legs are solid chromed steel. Also, the fabric ... moreon this piece is a beige microfiber, but since it was custom designed to be removeable, it is extremely easy to wash. And if you wanted to get it reupholstered. The beige microfiber cover can be used by any upholsterer as the pattern to reupholster the sofa in any fabric or color you want. This makes it easier(and less expensive) to reupholster than any other piece like it. As you can see, the actual sofa fabric under the cover is in pristine condition! This is really an amazing piece. We purchased it from the original owner about 2 years ago. And built our entire aesthetic for our home around this sofa.
