This is an antique picture frame of oak with 2 sets of the gold gesso trim around it. Frame width is 3 1/2" Overall size is 22"x26" with glass size of 16"x19" Comes with the original wavy glass. It looks to be in good displayable condition. The little metal tab on the back is missing but could be replace d with another piece for wall display. It has the raised convex/bubble type glass. Very unique and I can tell it's vintage. Maybe 1930's? but. Not sure. It measures framed approximately 5 inches top to bottom and approximately 4 inches side to side. For the age. Again, it looks to be in good. Displayable condition. It does show what I would consider to be normal. Displayed wear and age related wear. It's a silhouette of a Victorian couple. This is a framed old print. Copyright 1909 by Frank W. Williams of the"Blue Anchor Inn behind glass. The stunning antique Victorian frame has the original gold paint with raised gesso detailing. It has a nice curvy shape and pretty sprays of Lillie's on all four sides with lots of other gesso details. It is in very good condition with expected wear. There is some missing gesso and hairline cracks. There is some missing wood pieces on the back and some of the veneer in the back has separated. One eyelet does not grip the wood anymore and will need to be moved for hanging. The print is covered with cardboard and held in by old nails. There is no damage to the print as far as I can see except for some dirt/marks. We are selling this framed print as found, in it's original state except for a light dusting. Antique 19th Century Victorian Wood & Gesso Picture Frame Gilt Gold with Glass
Antique Victorian picture frame made of wood and gesso. It has an ornate design with some gilt. The frame measures 14-5/8" x 17-3/4" It does come with glass that is held in by nails on the back. The glass portion measures approximately 11 inches by almost 14 inches. There is a wire attached to the back for hanging. Overall this frame is pretty good condition with most of that gesso in tact. However it does show signs of age and wear. There are some small cracks in the gesso And some old green paint along the top. The glass does have one scratch. There os a picture. This framed piece has a story behind it that I could only imagine! I found it at an estate sale. In a box, wrapped in bubble wrap. It had been missing quite a few of the tiny nails in the back that secured it's contents. What was left of the paper backing was removed[in order to have the nails replaced] and what I discovered is what you see in the photos. The photo of the child was a replacement for the original photo of the man& woman. Which would explain the loose and missing nails in back. The frame is magnificent! Made of wood that I am unable to identify. Sorry. The glass is thick and other than needing a cleaning is in great condition. What you see in my photos is what you will receive. Excellent condition. But does have some very fine scratches from polishing and age. The outer edge of black has some paint missing. See pics. Oval frame measures 23" tall. And 17' wide. Picture opening is 18 3/4" long, and 13" wide. The back of the frame has one spot about 1 inche wide where the nail tore through. It was repaired many years ago and you cannot see it from the front. The picture is of St. Teresa of Lisieux?Avila? and is in very nice condition. There are a few ripples at the top and a few nips off the edges.See pics. Inside the photo which we opened from the back we found a postcard dated 1942 from St. Paul Minn to Fairmount Minn. I will include this with the picture and the frame and documentation of its age. Antique large oval charcoal painting and bubble convex glass with gesso wood frame. This is a beautiful victorian 1800's charcoal painting of young. Lady. The face is made of very tiny dots. The talented paintist. Shows facial expression. On the left side of the painting very smal piece, 1/2cm has a fold line, very close to the frame and it is hard too see. This antique oval and large frame has gesso work of beautiful roses and bowes. The frame is rimmed in black and also has a black rimm around the area immediately around the glass and in between is the gesso work on the wood. The large convex bubble glass is intact. This charcoal painting frame is in perfect condition. Measurement: 231/2 inches height. 171/2 inches width. Painting: 19 inch height. 13 inches width. This piece is highly collectable.

Antique Metal Picture Frame Bubble Convex Glass Ornate Victorian
This picture frame is absolutely gorgeous. It is an estate find and comes with the old picture in it. It is about 9.5 inches tall and has convex glass. I think the metal maybe brass but I am not sure. The frame is very ornate and has a ring attached to back for wall hanging. The frame is in very good antique condition.
