Vintage Antique tilt swing wood art deco picture frame with sailor picture
This is a vintage antique Art Deco tilt swing wood and composite picture photo frame. It is of muted browns and gray tones. Some gild as well. It is 13" tall to top of decoration and is 12.5" across the bottom stand. The glass measures 9.5" T x 7 3/4" W and has a very handsome photo of a sailor which comes with it. It has felt on the bottom. It is not missing any parts but does have some nicks of paint(see photos) It swings/tilts great. At one time. The back was sealed but someone(not me) has opened it so if you want to change the photo. You can. I am listing a smaller frame and as always happy to combine items for shipping to save postage. Antique vintage 1920s 1930s era ART DECO silver & black picture frame w/ cupid
For your consideration is this antique Art Deco silver and black frame with a black and white sketch of a cupid. The frame is metal and the"matting" that one sees that is black and silver is painted. I have not attempted to open the back of the frame not wanting to disturb anything inside. The frame itself measures 6" X 8" and the inside measurement for the photo that would show is 3.5 X 5.5 inches. The frame and the paint are in excellent condition with the exception of an extremely small divet in the upper right hand corner of the frame itslef which I have attempted to photograph in the third photo. Vintage Antique Wood Swing Swivel Tilt Picture Frame Art Deco
Very detailed swivel picture frame. Opening is just a little less than 8 x 12(just shy on both height and width) This is more ornate than most other antique frames that I have seen. But still has the art deco look. It's in great condition, but I can't tell if it's actually old or possibly a reproduction. The back looks like it had paper covering it but it has been removed to change out the picture and cardboard nailed in to keep picture secure and tight against glass. Beautiful frame!

Another one of my estate sale Relics. The outside of the frame measures approx 29wide x 21in tall without the pediment.And with the pediment its 24 1/4in. The frame has rounded corners,and the inside would hold a picture that measures 17 1/2 x 25 5/8in,and the lip measures 3/8ths in wide. The ornate part is cracked where the pediment meets the frame. There are also a few missing pieces in this general region. The piece could be repaired fairly easily for a person with some knowledge on Mold making. The frame is a gold radiator paint color,and has multiple layers of old paint. There is a one inch long chip on the right side,and a few smaller chips along the frames edge,a little sanding would remove the chips. The piece needs a little TLC and a cleaning. The frame is what they call Tramp Art. Over a 100 years old, hand made folk art. It's a really neat frame and definitely is old. All wood with inner Gold trim. It's in really good shape. The front has very little wear/tear, it looks like there was an additional leaf on the other top left corner, but not positive, It's solid and complete. The inside trim is gold and shows some wear. The back has no wire, Will need to be replaced. It has just about all it's nails on the back to hold the picture, very rustic backing with one split and a crack so the back piece will also would need proper repairing, there is one chunk out of the back left corner of the ... moreframe(see picture) still has the eye loops for wire, no glass.this is a great piece for collectors. The picture is an old print of the residence of Alvin Buck Esq. Co.unfortunately someone wrote $2.00 on it. The only thing that is wrong is that it has 2 holders to display with and the wall hanger is there, but the tripod is missing and one of the levers is broken(most likely why the tripod is gone. Antique Vintage Shabby Paris Gold Wood Swinging Picture Frame With Pink Rose Art
Up for auction is this wonderful antique vintage wood gold washed carved swinging picture frame. I found this at a estate sale in North Louisiana near the Arkansas state line. The glass was missing. But I really didn't mind as I love vintage shabby things with flaws. The frame has a couple of slight nicks, but is otherwise in great shape. The back part of the frame more than likely had nails holding in what ever photo was in it, but I found it with the tape on the back and I'm sending it out to the new owner just the way I purchased it. It would be the perfect frame for an old photo or I even considered putting a mirror in it and using it on my dresser. But.I need a magnifying mirror. So that wouldn't work. You could of course paint this frame a soft shabby pink or cottage white.I've enjoyed this great piece for several years ... moreand am now passing it on to a new owner.
