Vintage Hawaiian Surfboard Picture Frame -
this auction is for one picture frame. I have two for sale. if u buy both of them. The second one rides piggyback for free.wait for invoice before checking out. in beachside shops. They sold these to sunburned tourists on winter vacation. they're a little dinged up. Mostly on the back edge where it will meet wall. theres a little discoloration to the front. See pics. the discoloration i bit more on frame on the left. probably due to them being stacked together for a while, with that one on top. the one on the right is being sold first. They're banged up just enough to show age and use. they are 23 1/2" inches long and freekin awesome. This auction is for an antique oval brass picture frame. It is dated Pat. May 19. 1908. The frame is 4" 3 3/8" It has some scuffs as seen in the photo. No glass pane, I do not think it ever had one. Metal back just slides out for placement of picture. Someone had added the velvet piece, could easily be removed. Vintage Antique Oval Wooden Picture Frame Bubble Glass 23" tall
Large wooden frame is 23X16 and about 1/2" deep. Painted two shades of green with oval bubble glass intact. It had been reversed painted and the previous owner has started to remove it with I think he said acetone. Sure it would be fairly easy to do. The frame itself is about 2" wide around the front and glass opening is about 19X13. Really a nice piece waiting for a new picture.

Today they brought in this: Set of 3 vintage victorian convex fabric pictures in ornate metal frames The larger of the two of the woman and child measures 6"x 4" and the 2 smaller ones have images of victorian looking women and measure 3-1/2"x 2-1/2" They are fabric and do not have glass over them. The frames are unusual as the tops are turned up. The larger one does have a small pale line in the fabric. BEAUTIFUL GOLD ANTIQUE VINTAGE ROSE PATTERN PICTURE FRAME 8X10 PHOTO PORTUGAL?
WOW! What a beautiful old picture frame! I think is from Portugal. I say this because I have a huge mirror with the same decorative style border and made from the same gold colored brass(or bronze) material. It has a sticker on it that says where it is from. I have looked this frame over and over and find no mark or such sticker. I figured they had a sticker on it(like my mirror does) and the sticker is just gone. Anyway. It is for an 8X10 photo but the actual measurements of the frame are 13X11. This is such a pretty frame, and in really great vintage condition! No damage I can see. Lovely Roses adorn the border all the way around. Each rose has a heart around it. How sweet! There are two rubber tips on the feet to prevent furniture scratches, but these can be removed if desired. This is a handmade frame and that is obvious with close observation. ... moreIntense detailing, even on the reverse side of the frame design. Velvet backed slide out piece. The only flaw is with the old glass. One corner is broken and it is pictured in the last photo. Now when the glass is in the frame- it covers the break and you do not see it. If you look at the photos it looks like there are several cracks in the glass, but there is not! What you see are lines on the cardboard backround, NOT cracks in the glass. Except for the broken edge corner, the glass is in really good condition for the age. Very clear with few scratches. I have other frames and things for auction now so please check out my other items.
