Vintage Antique Oval Wooden Picture Frame Bubble Glass 23" tall
Large wooden frame is 23X16 and about 1/2" deep. Painted two shades of green with oval bubble glass intact. It had been reversed painted and the previous owner has started to remove it with I think he said acetone. Sure it would be fairly easy to do. The frame itself is about 2" wide around the front and glass opening is about 19X13. Really a nice piece waiting for a new picture.

I have up for sale a very nice vintage original Antique circa early 1900s gold or brass toned metal Ribbon Top bubble glass oval picture frame. The frame including the ribbon top measures approx 22" top to bottom. The oval approx 20" top to bottom by 14" wide. The inside measurements for the photo or picture would be approx 19" x 13.5" The frame is made of metal- it magnetizes and has a gold or brass tone plating. The top ribbon section does not magnetize- not sure if it is brass or not. The frame is in Excellent Original Condition and comes with the original rope twist wall hanger accoutrement. This antique convex glass photo is of an elderly farm couple. The coloring is still beautiful. With some greens, light pinks and enhanced black, gray and whites. This picture and frame are in original and good condition. The photos above show. LARGE VINTAGE ANTIQUE OVAL BUBBLE CONVEX GLASS PICTURE FRAME BRIDE WEDDING PHOTO
What a handsome couple and what a lovely frame. This is a metal oval frame with brass finish and molded. Pierced decorative metal mounts top and bottom and on each side. The overall length of the frame is 23 1/2" overall width is 15 1/2" The measurement of the actual opening is 13" by 19" This photo was in this frame when we bought it so of course I had to see if anything was written on the back. This frame is very easy to get into- brass tabs on the back hold the metal dust cover in place. Written in a scrawling hand on the back of the photo is a date"Aug 24, 1929" and a last name that might be"Benczar" or"Benazar" The pretty bride is fashionable in her short"flapper" style gown and immense veil and bouquet. Her groom is matinee idol handsome. The phjoto is sepia with just a bit ... moreof hand coloring on the fern fronds of the bouquet and a bit of the backdrop. THere is a faint ring of wear on the photo from the frame. The glass is original and in nice condition, there is wear to the gold colored finish on the frame. Up for bid is an old bubble glass for a picture frame. It is 11.5" by just under 8.5" It does have a scratch on the front. About an inch across, that is pictured above. However, the camera did not pic up on it very well. It's a whiteish color, about 2 inches up from the bottom, or top depending on how you set the frame. I did lower the price because of the scratch.

This is an antique picture of 2 guys in navy uniforms. The frame is a gold color wood that measures about 12" tall and 18" wide. The glass on the front is curved or bubble glass. antique oval art nouveau bubble convex glass brass copper picture frame 24 x 16
This is for an absolutely gorgeous antique picture frame.Found this at an estate sale that was at an old church in east aurora.N.y.Its in excellent shape for its age.Considering the art nouveau stye I would date it between 1880 and 1920.I have done nothing,it is as i found it.I like to try and note all defects so here is what i see.There is some loss of patina around the rim(see pic)I can also see that someone took the back off(probably to clean/make sure there was no valubles)and didn't line up the tabs correctly.Its still working just fine the way it is.They also left some what looks to be soap on the inside of the glass(upper right side)Should clean right off.Also there is some wear marks on the glass which i also pictured.and that is pretty normal for a 100 to a 130 year old picture frame. All these are unobtrusive and its still a ... morebeautiful piece of artwork.Just look at the pics. It measures 24 1/2 x 15 7/8ths to the ends of the ornate designs and the frame has a 1"thickness.The glass is 19 x 13 1/4 as measured from the front. shipped in a box 38x18x6 with a weight of 8 pds from zip 14213.
