This is a vintage antique Art Deco tilt swing wood and composite picture photo frame. It is of muted browns and gray tones. Some gild as well. It is 13" tall to top of decoration and is 12.5" across the bottom stand. The glass measures 9.5" T x 7 3/4" W and has a very handsome photo of a sailor which comes with it. Antique vintage 1920s 1930s era ART DECO silver & black picture frame w/ cupid
For your consideration is this antique Art Deco silver and black frame with a black and white sketch of a cupid. The frame is metal and the"matting" that one sees that is black and silver is painted. I have not attempted to open the back of the frame not wanting to disturb anything inside. The frame itself measures 6" X 8" and the inside measurement for the photo that would show is 3.5 X 5.5 inches. The frame and the paint are in excellent condition with the exception of an extremely small divet in the upper right hand corner of the frame itslef which I have attempted to photograph in the third photo. The larger on es are for 8 x 10 inch pictures and the smaller one is for a 7 x 9 inch picture. None of them have glass. I am con stantly amazed at the s tuff i come across. T hese are a n excellent pair of c1930 possibly French Art Deco burled walnut or elm vene ered frames. I am guessing a bit at them bei ng French but i do know they are from Europe. Amazing burled veneer that i believe is walnut but could possibly be elm too. Out stan ding condit ion with no losses to the veneer and a beautiful golden patina. Each frame has three rosette de corations at the bottom. A metal ri ng at th e top and a half round leaf and berry accent p iece on each side. Solid lap joint const ruction. Vintage Antique Wood Swing Swivel Tilt Picture Frame Art Deco
Very detailed swivel picture frame. Opening is just a little less than 8 x 12(just shy on both height and width) This is more ornate than most other antique frames that I have seen. But still has the art deco look. It's in great condition, but I can't tell if it's actually old or possibly a reproduction. The back looks like it had paper covering it but it has been removed to change out the picture and cardboard nailed in to keep picture secure and tight against glass. Beautiful frame!

Antique peacock metal picture frame art deco early 1900s
This art deco picture frame comes from a Florida estate and is a gem. A real rare find! It measures about 5 inches across by 7 1/2 inches long, and it holds a picture that's about 3 inches by 4 1/2 inches. The peacock on the front is about 2 inches high. It appears to be made out of some kind of dark metal, and the only markings we can find is the number 8416 on the back. There are some nicks in the paint, although nothing major, just normal stuff from about 100 years of existence. I would say it is in very good condition. Please feel free to ask any questions. Antique Vtg Mountain Landscape Print in Gold Gilt Art Deco Floral Gesso Frame
This is a charming vintage gold gilt rounded and curved rectangular picture frame with gesso flowers in the middle of each side. And a mountain landscape print with glass inside. The frame is in good condition with some scratches and scuffs, and spots that were touched up with paint, but no gesso is missing. The print is colorful but a little faded, and there is no signature that I can see. The paper is intact on the back and there is a wire for hanging. The outer dimensions of the frame are 21" W x 17" H, and the print measures about 18" x 14" I will pack it very well, double box it, and insure it during shipping.

Antique Art Deco Sterling Guilloche Picture Frame This is a lovely Art Deco picture frame that has been in my family for over 90 years. It was made in France by the Charles Gouy Company which was in operation from around 1879 to 1921. It is fully hallmarked for Charles Gouy and addition has the Minerva hallmark which denotes that the silver is.950 instead of.925. The guilloche enamel is in excellent condition; there are no chips. Cracks or other concerns. The measurements are: 6 1/4 inches high by 4 1/2 inches wide. The inside measurements are: 5 1/4 inches high by 3 1/2 inches wide. The back is made of leather. There are scuff marks in various places( mainly around where it fits into the frame) and there needs to be a connector to make the easel more stable. There are two ribbons. One on the easel and the other on the main part of the back, ... morebut something needs to be added. The frame is also in excellent condition with the exception of a small area that is slightly bent. The front part of the inner portion of the backing is made of silk taffeta. It has a few light stains. I have not attempted to clean this as the fabric is delicate in nature by itself. And it is old. If you have any questions. Please contact me prior to purchase.
