All pieces are very old and authentic and they are been kept in my family for many years with love and care. This auction is for a lovely ALVIN sterling silver overlay& Crystal perfume bottle. The Alvin Manufacturing Company was founded in 1886 by William H. Jamouneau in Irvington. New Jersey. The company moved to Sag Harbor, Long Island in 1895 and later changed its name to the Alvin Silver Co. in 1919. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was known for making fine sterling silver. The Gorham company of Providence, Rhode Island acquired the Alvin Company’s dies and patterns in 1928. It measures approximately 3 3/4" with original stopper. There is a monogram. In script, on the cartouche. It is marked" 999/1000 Fine" with the Alvin hallmark and numbers" 3 111" The Sterling overlay on this lovely bottle bears the hallmark of the Alvin Manufacturing Company. Which became Alvin Silver in erlay 1900. The art nouveau silver whips and swirls around the inverted tear-shape of the bottle. Forming flowers and stems. The condition of this bottle is near mint. The only problem is that sometime in the last century the stopper was bumped and has a slight chip and two small crack inside bottle neck(doesn't show when it is on. It sits properly and doesn't take away from the beauty of this bottle) Please note in the photos I show how the bottom of the bottle and the bottom of the stopper have matching etched numbers: 18. They have been mates since the day they were made- the glass in the stopper was ground specifically to fit the neck of this bottle. Very rare piece! I accept PayPal. It is very unique in its shape and size. ... moreI believe it is called 8 lobe or clove shape. The overlay is done in a draping floral pattern. The only marks I could find are on the outer rim. They are sterling and 151 I believe. Overall the bottle is in good to great shape. It does not appear to be missing any overlay. There are no repairs. Breaks, chips, or fleabites I could find. There is a couple dings to the sterling on the top but nothing major. It comes with what I believe is the original matching stopper. I wish I could say the condition was the same as the bottle but I can't. It appears to have been dropped a long time ago. There is a tiny corner of overlay missing that is small enough you can barely notice. I say dropped because the base of the stopper has a fairly good size chip all the way up. The edges are smooth leading me to believe it is old damage. It did not affect the beauty end of it though. It measures just under 6 1/2" tall with the stopper in and just under 4 3/4" without. The stopper itself measures about 2 5/8" long. Overall, even with the chipped stopper, it still displays beautifully and would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I am in no way an expert and try to describe things the best I can. Everything I sell is sold in as is condition as it was found. Please look at all pics for a better description. As I buy things to resell from different places. I cannot guarantee them to be from a pet/smoke free home. If you have any questions please feel free to ask before you bid. Up for auction I have a really beautiful Art Nouveau period sterling silver overlay perfume bottle with stopper. This unmarked perfume is from the 1900s. It has a wonderful overlay of scrolls with a leaf like design in center. It is finished with hand chasing. The neck is also sterling silver. The stopper is hand cut crystal and free of damage. Darling Perfume Bottle with brass crown stopper. I do not know if the stopper will come out with the cork. It does turn. But I don't want to risk breaking the cork because of it's age and dryness. I cannot guarantee that the cork will come out in one piece if the stopper was removed. That is customer risk. This piece has one flake on the left side of the leaf to the left of the rose bud and a chip on the leaf which is to the right side of the bud. When looking through the magnifier, the white edge on the left leaf(right side of that leaf) to the left of the bud is an absence of glaze; it is not a chip. Beautiful, Art Nouveau lines. Art Deco Nouveau Rare Lalique Les Fleurs D'Orsay Perfume 5 Bottle Testor
I have been asked to list this lovely piece from a fine estate with many beautiful antique decorative items. This item is a rare compartmental perfume bottle presentation piece with five separate perfume testers made by Renée Lalique 1925 for Les Fleurs D'Orsay perfume. There is another name embossed in a top corner that I have not made out as of yet. It is a gorgeous piece and it has etched across the front the words Dorsay in an ornate French Art Nouveau writing. There are just 2 or 3 teeny tiny knicks on bottom edges that are too small to measure. Less than 1/16" 2 bottom corners have a very very slight roughness. There are several small bubbles within the glass. Two stoppers are in excellent condition but not original. They aren't quite as snug as the originals and though they have a slight floral form it is different ... morethan the 3 original flower form tops. The other 3 original stoppers are in excellent condition and have the numbers on the daubers"1, 3, 4" Their tops are petaled frosted flowers with the word"Dorsay" and a scent name embossed on each! There is a minor amount of perfume residue in the bottom of 2 or 3 bottles. It displays beautifully. It is 8 3/4 inches long. Beautiful Moser Glass intaglio cut. Emerald to clear perfume bottle or decanter, created in the early 1900's. Wonderfully hand cut with a floral motif. Possibly a peony or poppy. Moser Glass is well known for their quality. They have been in business since the 1800's and still produce fine glass today. This beauty stands 6 1/2" tall and is 4" across the ground base. The stopper is missing. Yet, the bottle itself appears to be in very good used condition, no obvious chips or cracks, wear to the base as expected and a slight cloudiness to the interior on the bottom from an unknown liquid. Up for bids is an antique Art Nouveau style perfume bottle. It is made of glass with sterling silver overlay. I believe it is called squat shaped. The overlay is done in a very beautiful floral/leaf pattern. Overall the bottle is in good to great condition. As far as I could tell there is no loss of sterling. Repairs, or cracks/chips/breaks to the glass. The only mark I could find on it is Sterling. There is some minor residue inside from whatever was in it years ago. Also the sterling has a couple minor dings on the rim. It has a place for a monogram that is clear and ready for your personalization. It comes with its original matching stopper. The hand blown stopper would be in great shape if it wasn't for the one chip as seen in the pics. Gorgeous Multicolor French Art Nouveau Marny Perfume Bottle Ca. 1924 Mkd RLB
This is a gorgeous multicolor French Marny perfume bottle ca. 1924. The design appears Art Nouveau to me though the age is close to the Art Deco era. Pictures very well show the condition of the bottle. The bottle is marked Marny. France, and the maker whose mark is the letters R L inside a B. I could only find one reference showing the Marny name and it gave a date of 1924. The design is about as beautiful and grand as I've ever seen in a perfume bottle. The bottle just recently turned up and does not have the bulb or the upper gold plated screw down attachment. This isn't surprising as most of the fancy rubber bulbs cracked from hardening over the years and were thrown away. I don't believe it would be hard to find a newer replacement though an older one might take some looking. The bottle is 6 3/4" high and the base is ... more2 1/4" in diameter. There is a little old perfume residue in the bottom of the bottle that can be seen in a picture. I've looked the bottle over and there are no chips, nicks or cracks in the glass. The design stands out beautifully without any noticeable fading of vivid colors. I do not see any scratches or scrapes in the design. Also the tiny beaded dots are all there unblemished. This is a near antique bottle and it's in wonderful condition though a little natural aging to the glass may show as these were not bought at the store new yesterday. This piece would have been around in the Roaring 1920s, gangster& bootlegging times. There are no bubbles or broken bubbles anywhere in the glass that I noticed. Actually think the glass is awfully nice. The gold plated top of the bottle shows some discoloration inside as seen in a picture. Upon closer examination this dark area is actually the underlying metal where the gold plating has worn off over the years from screwing/unscrewing the bulb attached mechanism. Vintage. Amber Glass, Bulb-less Atomizer, Perfume Bottle Made in West Germany and Imported by Irving W. Rice Company(Irice) This is a very light weight amber glass perfume bottle/bulb-less atomizer. It has a lovely amber color stone at the top which may be glass but I am not 100% positive of its material composition. It does look very pretty with the amber glass bottle. This stone is surrounded by non-glass beads(some type of plastic? The top screws onto the bottle easily and securely. The stone and beads combine into a beautiful flower top with delicate metal holding the top amber color stone in place. Measures approximately 4 inches in height(with top on) and just about 2-1/2 inches in width(at center point) Atomizer pumps air easily but I have never put perfume in it. The overall condition of this vintage perfume bottle is very good. It ... moreonly has a little dust deep in the beaded top because I dust my vanity items very lightly due to their delicate nature. Original blue foil/paper label is attached on the bottom. It indicates that it was imported by the Irving W. Rice Company(New York) and that it was Made in West Germany. My research found that Irice bottles made in West Germany. With plastic daubers, were made around the 50's. I have loved it for its beauty and simplicity and just learned more about Irice recently. I envision this little bottle being given as a gift or perhaps they saved their hard earned money just to buy this one special bottle- what joy they must have felt. It is very pretty and can now be a part of your vintage perfume bottle collection and maybe find a home on your vanity tray. Art Nouveau silver overlay glass perfume bottle and stopper circa 1910
This is a good example of the decorative perfume bottles being made during the early years of the 20th century in the Art Nouveau style. Please note there is some corrosion around the stopper and a small chip shown in the 3rd photo. The silver on the bottle needs polished but I will leave that to the buyer. Stands 6.75" tall with the widest diameter of the bottle at 4.5" Really a beautiful piece. Florida residents please add 7% sales tax.

Art Nouveau Green Glass Perfume Bottle with Silver Overlay Hopkinsville
Beautiful emerald glass perfume bottle with silver overlay that spells out Hopkinsville. I assume Kentucky, considering how close it is. In fair shape, with scuffs to the silver, especially on the top ring, an odd ding on the top and a ding on the silver on the stopper. There also appears to be some damage to the inside glass neck, which must have been done during manufacture, since it's under the silver. There seems to be cracks or crazing, but I can't get a picture or even a good look at it. There are absolutely no marks, though it seems to match those made by Alvin and Gorham. There is either a g8 or 98 inscribed into the bottom of the stopper. The bottle it 2 3/8" high without the stopper, and 3 7/8" with the stopper.

For sale an Early 20th Cent. Art Nouveau style Sterling Silver and Glass Perfume Bottle in excellent condition. Item comes from my Great-Grandmother's estate. She was the sole owner of this lovely artifact. Stands 5' x 11' at it's widest point, this gem has not been cleaned or altered in anyway. I have posted a number of pics. per the maker's mark; there are two sets of characters. The first is either"06HM" or"OGHM. The other appears to be two different characters however they are rather worn hence difficult to read. I have had a local expert here in Napa Valley inspect-it, she believes it to be British or Czech made around 1900-1920. Ships for free to U.S. Customers.

French Art Nouveau Era Art Glass Perfume Bottle
This offering is for two beautiful scent bottles that were produced in France during the end of the Art Nouveau period. I have seen identical bottles described as having been produced by Rene Lalique. This is simply incorrect. Nevertheless. These exquisite bottles certainly could have been produced by one of the numerous competitors of Rene Lalique. The size of the bottles are 4 ¼” high, with a circumference of approximately 8 ¾” at the widest portion. The bottles have a frosted base, a decorative garland/band of clear and frosted flowers and foliage, and a tapered top of curved intersecting lines. The tapered stopper carries out the vertically striped design. The bottles still have their“Made in France” paper labels on the bases. The bottles are in perfect condition.

Description: Early 1900s Alvin.999 Sterling Overlay Glass Perfume Bottle 4677-2. Art Nouveau Very elegant perfume bottle with sterling overlay. Monogrammed AMG. This bottle is marked faintly along bottom edge of overlay with: 4677-2, 999/1000 Fine, and the makers mark for Alvin Manufacturing. It is also marked 468 on bottom of stopper; and bottom of bottle with SG 468- possibly for Steuben Glass. It measures 5.25" x 3.5" diameter base) and weighs 7 oz. The perfume bottle is in very good condition- no chips/cracks/breaks. It does have some wear and tarnish. Inside of bottle has some old perfume residue.
