I have not determined the maker but my thought is perhaps Bohemian-any help appreciated. The glass is bright blue decorated with enameled daisies and painted gold foliage. This piece is 16 3/4" high overall. 7" across at the crimped and ruffled top rim, 11" across at the bowl and 5 1/2 at the base. The bottom has an open pontil and is signed"8" The end of the horn is marked but hard to read. The epergne is in very good estate condition with no chips, cracks or restorations noted. There is some minor roughness on the end of the horn and a bit of leftover soil at the bottom(should be an easy clean up)see enlarged photos to evaluate. Although much of this decorated glassware is called"Bristol" glass. It is very difficult to actually attribute where it was produced as this style of glassware was made in many different countries including Czechoslovakia, America, France etc. It has a beautiful finely detailed. Enamel floral& scroll design in dusky pinks, cobalt blues and on a sky blue ground. I would describe this mould blown glass vase colour as an opaque white. Which is over painted with quality raised enamels. The base is un-marked and show sign of age base wear scuffing. This would make a wonderful addition to any Victorian art glass collection. PAIR OF VICTORIAN BRISTOL BLUE GLASS VASES: No Reserve
I am pleased to offer this superb pair of 19th century art glass vases. Hand-blown and in the rich"Bristol blue" colour. I am not sure where they were made- possibly Bohemia, Italy, or they could be English I suppose. They are decorated with beautifully hand- painted flowers and foliage in white enamel, and this is thick enough to give an"embossed" finish. Each vase measures 7 1/2 inches high and the bases have the usual pontil mark. Where the rod was broken after the glass blowing a shallow sliver of glass was also removed from under the base of each piece. This minor damage does not affect the display at all. There is some very slight wear to the gilding but otherwise condition is excellent. Thanks for looking.

Some enamel has worn from the stem and there is a flat sliver missing at the rim above blue bell. The rim has been cut and has a nick or two that are over gilded. The Silver portions are not marked, but do test as being Sterling Silver. The Center section also shows traces of being Gold Gilt on the outside and is still richly Gold Gilded on the inside. The Bottle is in very fine all original condition with some small dents to the one end but no chips, cracks or repairs to the Glass. The one end features a hinged top with the tiny Glass Stopper inside and the other a screw off end with a Cork liner inside so it never had a stopper. The Bottle is a great size for use or display measuring 4-1/2" long. Pair of elegant. Victorian, art glass shades. The color transitions from a creamy opalescent base, to blueat the squared, ruffled top. They are 5-1/2" diameter on the side, and 8" diagonally. approximately 4-1/4" deep, and the opening at the fitter rim is 1-3/4" diameter. A Superb Antique Victorian Bristol Blue Claret Wine Jug-Ornate Handle & Stopper
This superb Antique Victorian Bristol Blue Claret or Wine Jug dates I believe to around 1880 or thereabouts. It has a Silver Plated Handle. Collar and Stopper, which over the years the Silver Plate has become worn, but this is still beautiful as is, with the detail crisp. The Glass is in wonderful. Undamaged condition, free from chips or cracks and with the only signs of wear commensurate with age and use being some remnants of Silver Plate cleaner to the inside and a few very minor air bubbles which were present during the production process. The Handle and Stopper are attractive and ornate. The Claret Jug stands approximately 10.5 inches high to the top of the Stopper and it measures around 5 inches across from the lip to the back of the handle. The Jug weighs approximately 641 grams.
