No hairline breaks on the stick vases and the base has no damage. The bottom of each narrow stick vase has water spots and just below the rim has a very faint water ring. Any flaw mentioned does not distract and is mentioned for accuracy. 100+ years old. Measures 6-7/8" tall. The base is 3-1/2" diameter. Listing includes one vase. These are very consistent with some of the more decorated Japanese floats. The person I got them from actually said that their father likely brought them back from Japan. As he spent 3 years there. The beautiful blown glass grapes are amber in color and are HUGE(they look like small figs) They range in sizes of 1¾" down to 1¼" in length1¼" across. The leaves are amber and clearrange in sizes of 2¾" in length to 2" in length and 2" across, one amber leave is broken which is shown in pictures. These are attached to wire wrapped stems. Victorian pressed amber glass figure of a dog
On offer is a small(10cm high) hollow pressed glass Victorian glass dog in amber glass. Although these dogs have not been definitively assigned to any maker as far as I know. It has the look and feel of Thomas Kidd in my opinion, although any of the North East makers(Sowerby, Davidson, Greener) may have made them as a side line. These dogs were cheap decorations in their day. And this is shown in the rough base(which is"as made" and the small glass seepage on the mould line under the dog's chin resulting in a small(5mm x 3mm) fin of glass crest(the opposite of a chip! There are other flaws, but no cracks. All in all, this is about as good as these dogs get. Any international buyers- please contact me for p7p costs. Happy bidding

I can remember this being in house since the 50's the exact act could be earlier. Each grape is about almost 2" across each one has bubbles inside. There are scratches on them. Antique Hand Blown Amber Glass Bottle/ Flask/ Decanter with applied handle This is a handblown bottle or flask made of light amber glass. It has an applied handle at the neck and an applied rim- the shape of this suggests an early nineteenth century date. There is a high kick in the base. The surface is slightly irridescent and heavily corroded and pitted as this piece has obviously been buried somewhere damp for many many years. There is no damage to the bottle other than this surface corrosion( which I think adds tremendously to its interest) A wonderful tactile object. Late VICTORIAN Glass RICHARDSONS TULIP Vase Uranium Green & Amber
On offer is a late Victorian glass vase in the form of a tulip. The tulip head is in amber glass with alternating streaks of opal/ white glass. The stem and base are uranium green(see the final photo below. Taken with a UV lamp) It was probably intended to to be a table-top toothpick-holder. These pieces are usually attributed to the Stourbridge firm of Richardsons. Condition—Unfortunately two of the three leaves which are intended to"grow" upwards from the base are missing; they've been snapped off at the level of the base. No other damage. This lovely bowl stands a full 11cm/4.5ins tall on an hourglass stem and has a foot measuring 7cm/3ins across with a smooth. Ground pontil. It is in good condition for its age with just a small ground out chip to the rim(see photo 4) Please note that as from April 1st 2013 Royal Mail have increased their pricing yet again. Beautiful antique Amber Glass Epergne from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is in perfect condition! There are no chips or cracks. There are a few bubbles and variations that are common with mouth blown glass. The bottom part of this 2 part vase is 8" tall. And together, it measures 14" tall and 9" wide. The top vase sits in the lower vase. But it cannot be used alone. It is ground glass and it's wobbly. You have to turn it. Til you find just the right spot where it will sit firmly. Antique Victorian Pressed Amber Glass A GOOD GIRL Footed Cup EAPG? Sowerby? Antique 19th C Pressed Amber Glass Nursery/ Child's Mug or Footed Cup"A Good Girl" Offered for sale with no reserve! Here we have a lovely example of pressed glass- an amber coloured mug or cup with the words"A Good Girl" with floral sprays and a floral wreath on the reverse. I have seen similar pressed glass described as by Adams and Company of the USA- which would make it a piece of EAPG or early American pressed glass. However. It could have been made in the UK by a maker like Sowerby, Bagley or Davidson. The mug has been produced in a two part mould and there is a distinct mould line down either side. It measures 3 1/2 inches high and has a base diameter of 2 3/8ths inch. It is in very good order with just one tiny chip on the mould line ... morenear the rim. This could date from manufacture. It weighs 208g. This is a great example of 19th century pressed glass and ideal for a collector. Would also make a brilliant Christening or gift or Christmas stocking filler. Lovely applied rosette flower with stem and leaves is blown of light pale blue glass. In the center of the rose is an applied amber button. The leaves and petals also have a pressed pattern. Applied handle is also blue and is of the same matching colour found in the applied floral decor. Rim is cut and no pontil on the bottom of the very low footed base. No chips.
