The door is 1/4 rd oak with the desirable beveled oval ... morewindow. The exterior has large fluted columns finished with carvings and dental crown molding on top. Huge. The door is almost 5" thick at top of molding. Below is raised panles with heavy carved moldings. The original door bell is present along with door knobs and plates, no hinges or dead bolt. The door bell handle is solid brass and has cast iron mech with nickle plated bell. The interior of the door is super clean with recessed quartered oak. The door is 36" wide by 82 1/4" tall x 1 3/4" + thick moldings. The door is old, used and although not perfect, it is in super condition. My best guess is it looks like the original finish and possibly topcoated if at all. I am listing the door for pick up but sure it can be shipped without any problems. The door is over 100 lbs and should be packaged correctly and insured. Truley a awesome one of a kind door. Please ask questions if need more info. Thanks for looking and have a great day. It is a stunning piece of antiquated Judaica pottery that dates to at least the 1600s. This incredibly richly colored turqoise bowl is most likely Turkish or mid-Eastern in origin. The traditional Jewish symbol of the Star of David is clearly the highlight of this antique bowl. Swirls completely surround the piece as part of its wonderful decoration. Pilgrimage shadow box from Jerusalem circa 1900-1930. 9 1/2" tall x 8 3/4" wide approx. Depiction of the Last Supper under glass. Fabulous object but missing some mother of pearl. These boxes were made and brought back from pilgrimage visits to the Holy Land. Somewhat rare and fragile as the glue gave way and surface pieces fell off. See all photos but also last photo where I circle or point to missing areas. The bare wood has been painted off white to camouflage the loss. I found this in a house sale as is displayed on a dresser with other religious items. It still looks very beautiful in spite of the mother of pearl losses. DESCRIPTION: Intact. A late Roman pottery oil lamp from the Levantine region. The lamp is mold made and composed of course. Buff to pink clay with traces of a surviving slip. The lamp has a large central fill hole, small wick hole and slightly carinated body resting on a nearly flat unmarked base. The squarish nozzle is decorated in faint low relief with a palm leaf design between chevrons. A faintly discernible chevron pattern also appears on the thumb shaped handle. On the lower half of the body on one side is a partially discernible inscription in low relief Greek letters. The surface and interior are partially covered with limestone calcium deposits. With a sharp carination at the shoulder, and is composed of orange clay. The piriform body has a large central fill hole around which is low relief decoration of swags and dots. The lamp is decorated over its shoulders with radiating parallel lines and has a thick, bifurcated zoomorphic handle, resembling the head of a feline. Between the fill hole and wick hole is as simplified palmette design. Jerusalem School Mother-of Pearl Orthodox Christian Last Supper Icon Up for sale is a vintage. Antique carved mother of pearl religious icon depicting'The Last Supper' set in a shadowbox form. From what I can find. I believe this very detailed and beautiful piece might be from the 1940's. The only marks I can find on the piece are both inscribed handwritten words that say"Bethlehem" at the top) and"Jerusalem" on the bottom) see detailed photos) From the information I've found. These were handmade for Christian tourists to being back from their pilgrimage to the Holy Land in the mid 1900's. The colors are amazing. Especially when shining in sunlight and the piece really must be seen in person to truly appreciate it and overall it's in really good condition for its age! The underside having an elongated design following the the lines of the body of the lamp. Holy Land Antiquity Replica'QUEEN OF THE NIGHT' BURNEY RELIEF' Marked on the bottom SKP This is an antique clay/ceramic replica of the terracotta plaque with relief decoration showing a naked goddess. Probably Ishtar, with wings and bird claws for feet, purchased by Sydney Burney in 1936. Three theories exist as to which woman this relief is to represent; Ereshkigal. Ishtar, or Lilitu(Lilith) This REPLICA is made from clay. And as one point may have been painted reddish brown(to duplicate the terracotta) black, and red to mimic the coloring of the original plaque. Currently. Only the reddish brown and some of the black are easily seen and traces of the red. This plaque was hand formed. As one can see all the imperfections and flaws- the plaque is not square(meaning even) the size and design of the owls are not uniform. A dent ... morein the back, and evidence of tools marks. On the bottom. There are the letters SKP. SIZE: It is approx. 5.5" H x 4"W. Depth varies as this the shape is not uniform CONDITION: Has discoloration and wear/fading of the coloring/paint. There are surface chips and paint chips throughout. Either from mishandling, improper storage, or normal wear, on the facial features and on the edges and corners. There is also some marks/lines on the back of the plaque, may be pencil? There are not any cracks. This plaque is quite rare. And would be more than an asset to any collection. Questions are welcome.
