Nice Ancient Holy Land Middle Bronze Age Bowl Canaanite ca. 1800 BC_ 100% Authentic and Ancient This nearly 4000 year old Canaanite bowl is unique in that it it has what appears to be ash sediment in the interior. It is not a pottery glaze but is black and has a gritty. Sooty feel to it. It was possibly made for dual usage as either for household cooking or an offering bowl. The nubs on either side were used as finger handles and one was cracked but expertly repaired. There is also a small chip on the rim. This bowl would be a valuable addition to any collection.
