I have owned these frames for over 25 years. They are in excellent condition. Most of time they have been in storage as I didn't have room for them. All six have matching doll themed prints in them. But you could easily change out print it you wanted to use just as frames. Prints were done(stickers on back) by company called Image Arts out of Noblesville, IN(they are no longer in business) Wooden carved frames are very unique PLUS the beveled/concave glass adds an extra special touch. One picture does have damage to the wood carving on inside edge- see picture- ALL OTHERS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION with no damage. You can see sealing of pictures and back are in excellent condition as well.

BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE WOOD FRAME FLORAL CARVED AND GILDED IN GOOD CONDITION- OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS from the front corners are 11 ¼ INCHES by 13 ¼ INCHES. MEASURED FROM THE FRONT) Frame is circa 1940’s. Maybe earlier. Frame is wood with applied gesso carving. Gold tone finish is almost like a glaze. With a dark background contrast that really emphasizes the floral carving. Original gold gilt on the frame. Condition is good– no pieces of the gesso carving missing. Frame has glass(opening for the glass is 8 inches by 10 inches) and old wood backing. A few remnants of paper covering that must have been on the back. The frame could be used vertically or horizontally. The opening on the back of the frame that holds the glass and backing is almost 3/4 of an inch deep– deep enough to hold a wood stretcher if you wanted to put a painting in the ... moreframe. Frame is almost 1 inch deep. Measured from the outside. Some discolorations to the gold tone finish on the outside edges, not visible from the front. see photo) Details: Corners don’t wiggle– the frame is tight. The frame has glass and old wood backing. A set of 3 feather art birds with painted trees. Leaves& background The 3 carved wooden frames match. As does the painted background These are quite elaborate birds with long tail feathers. A crested head, a variety of feather types& colors. The background has green/yellow leaves with pink& white and blue& white flowers along a tree branch. The beaks& feet are also painted. They measure nearly 5 1/2 x 8 inches The backs have the original paper tape& are stamped Hecho En Mexico. Here& there are sections where the paper tape split at the inside edge of the frame. But it is intact, all the paper is still there- it is not dirty or ragged- I would still consider it in good shape. They each have a thick cloth( loop for hanging. This is a beautiful deep set hand carved dark wood picture frame approximately 16" x 19" x 2" I have no specific expertise as to periods and styles. The carved wood frame presently contains a lovely Claud Herndon Botanical Print of Camellia's at D'evereux in Natchez and the gold leaf area does have some foxing, which tends to add to its charm. ANTIQUE CARVED GOLD GILT WOODEN FRAME WITH DARK BLUE ACCENT. The frame is circa 1940– 1950’s. Framed by the MILLER PICTURE FRAMING COMPANY, Springfield, Massachusetts. The Miller Framing Company was the best in the area in the 1930– 1950’s. Contains a vintage print from the same era– 1940– 1950’s– of 2 very intense Siamese Cats. The name on the right side of the print near the cats is GLADYS EMERSON COOK. Lower left side has“copyright” PENN PRINTS. NEW YORK. The frame is in good original condition. The finish is good and the corners are all tight. No wiggles. Outer Frame Size is 13 ¼ inches by just over 17 inches. With the opening for the vintage print, approximately 12 ¼ inches by 16 inches. Frame is over 1/2 inch deep from the side. Frame with glass and contents weighs about 3 ½ pounds before any packing materials. Print ... moreis in good condition. No tears, no fading, no stains. What looks like a gray discoloration on the background of the print is NOT– it is camera glare. The background is a uniform color– a dark beige color– a good contrast to the picture of the Siamese cats. There is an old flaw in the glass on the upper left side and a few old bubbles or air marks in the glass. ALL SALES FINAL. I am selling items that have some age to them. Naturally there will be irregularities and flaws. Just because of the age. Vintage antique carved wood frame barn red and gold paint Gould duck print
I am calling this Roy croft or Eastlake style frame I am using style word as I am unsure of brand but the age and type seem to be just that. The quality of the wood is genuine well made with a deep barn red stain paint surrounding the glass.The carved boarder lines around the frame are done with perfection with hints of gold also. The gold part[boarder] has thin squigley drizzle like black lines of paint on it. I think it is part of design. I have not tried to clean this as much as I would like to. I am afraid of removing something of design that belongs. I tried with magnify glass to see more detail it seems there may be some sort of signature with numbers on bottom front of gold painted trim boarder. I can not make out the letters or numbers I removed print to clean the glass. There is no extra back for the frame.The print is layed out ... moreglued on to card board or print board. The bottom of the print reads Dendrocygna Arcuta no.7 Gould Lower left reads Copyrighted and published by Artistic P.P. co. inc. The lower Bottom right reads Printed in Germany. The top right reads No.150. frame measures 8 inch tall 9 and 1/2 inch wide. The print inside[litho] included measures 5 and 1/2 inch tall and 7 inch wide. This is a beautiful example of good old fashioned decorative art. The screws look hand made and are brass color I have shown close up of them in corners of the molding. The frame is made well and not loose. You might be able to see the hand paint signature on the wood frame bottom with close up. The print is not hand signed that I can see.
