These are in great condition with NO chips and very little paint wear! The pictures are included and believe these were original to these frames. There was a piece of paper taped to the back with"1940 22 yrs old" written on it(that will be included) As you can see by the pictures. There was tape along the bottom edge, but has fallen off. For your consideration today. A really nice Cameo Creation miniature portrait in ornate. Antique gold frames. The photo is"Contesse Louisa Cercle" by F.X. Winterhalter was famous in their era for her beauty. Her style. The oval portrait is framed in a ring of gold with convex glass and mounted on a velvet background. They measure 5 1/2" tall by 4 ½" wide. The frames are a resin or plastic material. It has the original Cameo Creation stickers on the back along with a sticker showing the names and artist. VINTAGE BEVEL GLASS FRAME ORIG. VELVET BACKING w/ ORIG. MILITARY PHOTO 1940-50's
VINTAGE BEVEL GLASS FRAME WITH ORIGINAL CONTENTS– A PHOTOGRAPH OF A MILITARY OFFICER IN UNIFORM– frame and photo are circa 1940– 1950’s. The photo is black and white. Professionally done, with good shadows and accents around the facial area. No studio name on the photo. But may be on the back of the photo under the backing. The military officer has an overcoat and hat on in the photo– some type of insignia on the hat that would identify the military branch. The frame is a large solid piece of glass with bevel edges. The glass panel is almost 1/4 inch thick. The frame and contents weigh over 6 pounds before any packing materials. To give you an idea how heavy the frame is. The back of the frame is the original velvet backing. Burgundy but uniformly faded, with the original easel stand, with a slight bend out at the bottom from standing on ... morea table all these years– see photo– still stands firmly on a table. Would certainly be a conversation piece standing in a room– people would want to know who it is– looks good enough to be a movie actor! The frame is made only of one large piece of glass with a thick velvet backing. No chips that I can see or feel in the glass. A very little bit of superficial scratching on some of the edges. Only from handling. The photograph– original to the frame– is placed under the glass and is held in place by 4 screws that go from front to back. My pictures are not really good– too much glare on some of them– difficult to get the full effect of the clear glass. The lines across the glass are reflection. And the lightness at the bottom of the photo is only from glare. Outer measurements of the frame are 14 ¼ inches by 17 ¼ inches. Size for the photo and the backing is 10 ¼ inches by 13 ¼ inches. ALL SALES FINAL. I am selling items that have some age to them. Naturally there will be irregularities and flaws. Just because of the age. VINTAGE WALNUT FRAME WITH COLORFUL STYLE ART DECO LADIES’ FASHIONS FOR THE BEACH. Frame contains a vintage print. The vintage print is circa 1960– 1970’s– a copy of some of the fashion prints from the old McCall’s or Ladies Home Journal magazine. The walnut frame is from 1920’s- 1940’s and almost looks hand made if you look at the back of the frame. Flat walnut molding for the frame with original good color finish. Outer measurements of the frame are 12 ¼ inches by 17 ¼ inches. Size of the opening for the glass and contents is 11 inches by 16 inches. The flat walnut molding measures over 1 inch wide from the front and about 1 inch deep from the side. Nice molding. A few superficial scratches on the wood. Tiny space at the upper left front corner– see photo. The print is in good condition– not torn. Not faded. Really looks like it ... moreis right out of an Art Deco magazine except that the size of the print is too large. Print has glass and cardboard backing. Print is good– not discolored. Not torn. Nice antique oval frame with glass measuring approximately 18"x12. Not sure when it was made but looks a lot like others I've seen from the 1930's or the 1940's at the latest. Purchased at an estate sale with a painted"photograph" inside of a young man. However the photo was removed(had become discolored with age. Beautiful flower design on the corners of the frame, which is made of wood and enamel. The front of the frame looks great for its age, still good color and definition in the design and no defects. The back side has a few stains on the cardboard and some rustiness to the metal hanger and nails, which can be expected with an antique frame and would be fairly easy to update. This auction is for a Vintage Original"Our Flag" Print. The original painting by Fred Tripp and Copyrighted by The McCleary Hospital and Clinic, Excelsior Spring, Missouri. It measures 22 1/2" long by 12 1/4" wide and is printed on heavy weight poster board. Our Flag" The Story of A Famous Painting" is included and appears to has been sent with original print. This came from a local estate and is a rare find in the original shipping box from McCleary Hospital in Excelsior Springs. Mo. Shipping labels are still intact. Postage mark shows this was mailed on Feb 5, 1959. There is some discoloration on the lower right corner of the print where it appears the story was on top of photo as can be seen in photos. BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE OVAL FRAME- GESSO OVER WOOD. THE GESSO COVERS THE TOP OF THE ENTIRE FRAME. LOOKS LIKE GESSO RIBBON CRISS-CROSSING EVERY 1 1/4" WITH A RAISED PATTERN IN-BETWEEN. VERY DECORATIVE. THERE ARE 2 HAIRLINE CRACKS AT THE BOTTOM AND A SMALL SCRAPE. THERE IS ALSO A SMALL CHIP OUT OF THE FRAME NEAR THE BOTTOM BUT HARD TO NOTICE AS IT HAS DISCOLORED OVER THE YEARS. Set of 2 vintage prints in ornate white and gold wooden frames 1940's
Here is a small pair of vintage pictures that I got at an estate sale. The frames are wood and gold and white. Measures 7.75 x 5.75 inches. There are some knicks on the frames but I think you can see that in the pictures. One of the pictures is a snow scene and the other is a black boy fishing with a paddle boat in the background. Nice little prints.

Vintage Antique Could be 1900-1940 Picture Frame Solid Wood Black and Red
Vintage very old picture or art frame. It is solid wood and might have a layer of gesso. It is 10 by 7.75 inches on the outside and 7 by 8.5 on the inside. This is my favorite It is black and red. I do not see any chips or nicks. This came from my Great Grandma's estate. It could be from before 1940 and probably is I am just not sure. Glass& Photo included Listed for auction is a free standing vintage Art Deco style wooden frame that holds up to an 8" x 10" photograph. I believe it was probably made sometime between 1900-1940. It's made of wood that's painted silver and embossed with(black) decorative repeating patterns. It's remained in its original(very good- excellent) condition even after all of these years. The wood is not warped and shows nothing more than gentle use so it swivels well. The stand& frame are still stable& secure, and it looks almost as good as new too. The overall dimensions of the frame& stand are 12" high X 10-3/4" ... morewide X 1-3/4" deep. I have not removed the photograph that came in this frame when I purchased it to clean the inside of the glass but the glass appears to be in fine condition with no chips or cracks. The wood frame has rubbed a bit against the wooden base so you can see a very slight bit of wear in that spot(see my final photo) but other that. The frame& stand appear to be in very fine condition. Beautiful Antique Ornate Brass Frame with a portrait of a Woman and a Baby. Frame measures 14 1/2 x 12. Picture part is 8 x 8. It is also gilded style around the picture part. It has 4 brackets on the back that holds picture. Has chain where it can be hung on the wall. Has a spot on the right side of the woman's shoulder. There are a few spots by her hand. It would probably need just a little cleaning and they would come off. Took pictures the best I could. There really small. Otherwise in great condition. Gorgeous frame. Pretty heavy. Up for sale is a beautiful Art deco picture frame. 8 x 6 the picture size is a 5 x 7. The frame is chrome with glass is black& silver which is reverse painted. The glass has no cracks or chips. The back has a 1.4 turn swivel easel. Pat 1893/1947. The back where the easel locks in does have a little lifting from use. On the bottom right corner where it folds back has two small line tears on the corners of the back. On the paint in the black outer line has one little speck missing. Vintage. Mid century set of 2 Franklin Picture Co. Foil Lithographs in original wood frames. Both are lovely English Cottage Landscape scenes one with horse and wagon. Both measuring 7" x 6" Estimated 1940's. They both are marked Franklin Picture 1188 on the back. They are not artist signed but the style looks like Ernest Uden. I found a larger version of the horse and wagon foil art which is signed so feel pretty sure they are by Ernest Uden. My camara doesn't capture how pretty they are. They have the wires on back and are ready for hanging up right away. It has a nice convex bubble glass and it may be kept as is or repurposed for a lovely mirror. Glass and frame are free of cracks. No scratches on the glass but some superficial ones on the back of the metal frame and some shrinking to the red felt backing. It has original patina. The outside ring on the glass is gold trim. These were purchased at Kellum Interiors in Mason City, Iowa. This store was a very classy store and did mostly special order jobs way back then. These were high-end pictures back in the day. Only the one frame has a gouge in it as you can tell from the pictures. Only the last picture appears to have the correct color of wood. Consider this well preserved reverse painted Art Deco era frame. Notice the real wood veneer matte around the little girl print also cut to fit within the pin striping. Measuring 11" x 13 1/2" the scalloped frame has some wear and the veneer has a few areas of flocking or dark spots on the wood. Here are two"Old World" prints in their original frames and matts. They are prints but I'm not sure if they are lithographs. They are in very good vintage condition. Vintage 3 x 5 Silver Photo Frame, Made in China Unknown Metal, Post 1940's
This is a very heavy vintage metal photo frame. Total frame size is 5 x 7 but holds a 3 x 5 photo. It does not have a wall hanger on it only a desk top stand on the back of it. jointed wood picture frame mid century vintage beige post 1940 John Wayne pic
This is an older image of John Wayne. I couldn't find the exact image in my searches but many many similar to it. This is great purchase if you are a John Wayne fan because you also get a cool vintage frame with it. I bought this at a garage sale of a 91 year old woman along with some great cast iron cookware. I am keeping the cast iron LOL. This wood frame measures 7 1/4 X 9 1/4. It contains an old printed image of John Wayne. The jointed woodwork on this frame is very well done. When you look at the corners you can see the wood pins that join the frames corners. Even more unique is the way the frame slides apart at the bottom in order to open it up. I have a vintage Hama frame with similar joints. The frame is in used condition and has flaws expected due to it's age. This item will be sold as is.
