Featured under the glass is a rectangular photograph lovely young woman in late 1800s or early 1900s clothing and hairstyle. There is a handwritten label on the back which reads"My mother at 18- Mary Ellen Palmer Lind. Wire easel on the back is not original and there is a brass tab missing. Outside edge of frame measures about 2&5/8" wide by 4&3/8" long, including the ornate decoration at the top. Antique Victorian Brass Fancy Picture Frame Easel Stand Pat. 1894 Matching Pair
This auction is for a Beautiful Matching Pair Antique Victorian Brass Fancy Picture Frame with the easel stand and are actually marked PAT APR 24-94. They are both marked PAT APR 24-94 on the back of the frames very clearly with a matching number(possibly style number) near the patent markings. The marks are engraved on the backside of the frame. They are in good shape with some signs of age and also still have the glass with the frame. The edges of the glass are rough cut. The frames have a lovely. Leafy design. These are large frames and has the original patina in good condition and measures approximately 9" across and 12" tall. Each weighs almost 2 pounds. They would make a nice addition to a collection or would also make a lovely touch to any home on any Vanity or Dresser. Very fancy with deep flower and scroll work. The opening ... morewould display a picture size of approximately 4" by 6" These would look great with either a picture or a mirror which can be obtained locally. Nice patina to the metal and can be cleaned easily or left as is. It should polish up nicely to bring this frame back to its original glory but looks great with the patina- I did not try to clean it in any way. Up for auction is al vintage antique frame painted gold. With wonderful brass ormolu corners, recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is found in good used condition. The only issue to report is that one of these ormolu corners is missing a drop. This piece has been painted over in gold. There are a few losses of the frame, but this paint hides many of these defects. This Rococo Revival frame dates from the last decades of the 19th century. It is metal with a gold-wash finish that has faded over the years. It is completely intact with no loss or breakage to the elaborate decoration. The frame measures 11 1/2" tall x 8" at its widest part. The leg on the back swings shut so that the frame could be propped closer to a wall. This is a gorgeous antique solid brass picture frame. It is large and measures 17" from the widest point of the fan down to 10" at the bottom. It has a beautiful solid brass"leg" which is nicely decorated. It is heavy as picture frames go. Listed for sale is a Victorian. Pittsburg Lamp and Brass Company Picture/Mirror Frame. It is gold plated cast iron. It has the number 1060 and the PLB Co stamped in the cast iron on the back, see picture#3. It also still has a original paper label on it, that says Genuine Gold Plate, Pittsburg Lamp and Brass Co. This is a very unusual and original piece. It had a broken mirror in it when I bought it years ago. Never did get it replaced. It is in excellent condition except for wear to the plating. This is a beautiful antique National Brass& Iron Works(NB&IW) marked picture frame. Numbered 2172, that holds a picture measuring 4" x 6" It is a heavy cast iron with an excellent polished brass finish that has a slightly darkened, aged patina, with a little loss of finish on the back side, mainly on the hinged stand. There is a replacement piece of glass and corrugated cardboard held snugly in place by three clasps that turn 360 degrees so a picture can be easily added. Outer dimensions of the frame are 8" L x 4 1/2" W(with the stand swung outward) x 12" H.

Frame is basically in good condition showing some evidence of age and wear. Frame appears to be of brass. A magnet won't stick to it. The frame and filigree are slightly bent in a few places. But nothing that will detract from the look or use. The brass has some darkening in spots from age. Jewels are all in place as found. Original backing board is shown. It once had dark red fabric attached to the back. The board is held in the frame by tiny nails thought holes in the frame. We did not put any ... morenails in it, and thus there are none holding the board in, because you'll likely only have to remove them again to place the art in. Antique Cast Iron Victorian Picture Photo Mirror Easel Frame Brass Bronze Color
This antique cast iron table top photo or mirror frame measures 12&1/2" tall. And the opening is approximately 4&5/16" x 6&1/8" It's made of heavy cast iron with a brass-colored metallic paint or plating. As shown, it's in very good condition, with no breaks or missing metal, just typical wear to the brass paint/plate here and there and a nice aged patina. The stand works fine. This does not have any backing. But since this has a metal stand, something can easily be rigged up to hold a photo or small mirror in the frame. I actually displayed this with a piece of murky antique shaving mirror glass in it, but because it was a bit small for the frame I had to place a slightly larger piece of glass taken out of a photo frame behind it to hold it in place, so I am NOT including the mirror in this listing.

Beautiful little ornate brass picture frame. No maker on the piece. In great condition but will need a little clean up as it has been in storage unused for some time. The frame has a green fabric mat that shows behind the brass decoration. Has easel back and sits horizontally. When sitting vertically. It is a bit uneven and doesn't sit flat on a table. Its possible that the easel might just need to be bent a little to get it to sit flush, but I will leave that to the new owner as I don't want to break it. I believe the metal to be brass but am not 100% positive of the exact metal that was used to make this frame. I did put a magnet onto the surface and it did not stick to it.
