WELCOME TO ZANGEL14 The item up for sale is an old 1910~1930'S Victorian picture frame. This is made of wood and gesso and is white and gold. The gesso is in super condition for the age. There are a couple of very minor hairline cracks but no loss of material. The gesso has a shell and rose pattern in it. Very ornate. Then each corner has an added ornate overlay with acanthus leaves and flowers. This would be wonderful to add a mirror and hang it or use it as a vanity mirror. In addition it's perfect to use as a picture frame, comes with glass and is ready to hang. The overall measurement is 18x15 and inside measures 13.25x10.25 inches. Shabby 19th Century Antique Victorian Eastlake Ebonized Spoon Carved Frame 9x11"
fanciful Victorian era 1800's ebonized gesso frame- with spoon carved aesthetic designs- an urn with flowers from the right side. A fan& flowers on the left& geometric patterns across the top- unusually shaped sides. Pairs of little knobs on the protrusions at top& sides(one of the side knobs is missing) White gesso layer is visible in some of the chips- original wavy glass- 9" x 11" outside measurements- 6-1/2" x 8-1/2" inside- a nail holds a length of picture wire- I've left it as found. clean. Wide Antique Pine Picture Frame, Cottage Shabby, Very Unique, One of a Kind
This was a n antique gold leaf frame. Probably dating from around 1900. That the gold and gesso have been stripped, and what is left is a wide pine frame. You can see in the picture that there's one line of gold left. The sides are mostly white(gesso) With a little gold still left here and there. This was probably a beautiful gold leaf frame. And the gold had started to come off, so some one stripped i t. It's actually pretty neat looking as is. But it's somewhat rough. There's some gold l eaf and gesso along the outsides. As well. I'm not sure exactly what shabby and chic is. But maybe this fits in that description. The rabbet size is about 7 1/8" X 9" The moulding is a good 3" wide, so the outside size is about 13" X 15" The depth is about 2 1/2" A nice. Deep frame, can be l eft as is. Painted, ... moregrain pa inted. Or possibly reguilded. Guaranteed that this is a one of a kind. And that no one has a frame just like this! It sits flat. The corners are a bit open, but the corners are nice an d tight. I will include screw eyes and wire with this frame. There's no glass. Pretty vintage chic French blue antique gesso wood frame, distressed gold with hearts in corners and elaborate heavy floral swags. It is considered to be"shabby" in condition with a 3" section of gesso trim at edge missing at right bottom side. Smaller section corner left, left side tiny 1/4" section and right side bottom. Up for auction is this wonderful antique vintage wood gold washed carved swinging picture frame. I found this at a estate sale in North Louisiana near the Arkansas state line. The glass was missing. But I really didn't mind as I love vintage shabby things with flaws. The frame has a couple of slight nicks, but is otherwise in great shape. The back part of the frame more than likely had nails holding in what ever photo was in it, but I found it with the tape on the back and I'm sending it out to the new owner just the way I purchased it. It would be the perfect frame for an old photo or I even considered putting a mirror in it and using it on my dresser. But.I need a magnifying mirror. So that wouldn't work. VINTAGE ANTIQUE WOOD DECORATIVE SHABBY FRAME w glass 14x12 approx.
This is a very old wooden picture frame. With silver paint and decorative detail. I'm 64 and this frame was used for my father's family picture, in which he was a young boy. Total Frame dimensions are about 14 and 1/2" long and 12 and 1/2" high. The decorative part of the frame is about an inch wide all around. This is the original glass and cardboard backing. Glass has some staining at corners. That perhaps could be cleaned(I haven't tried) No cracks. The frame definitely shows wear with some of the silvered paint being worn to reveal wood. Especially along the top and bottom of the frame, with somewhat less wear on the sides. I'm not knowledgeable about antiques; just trying to do streamlining here at home. This a Beautiful Antique hand carved frame from around the turn of the Century. Early 1900's. With intricate sculpted Gesso laid on a hand carved wood frame. Opening measures 19 1/2"L x 15 1/2"H with a 5/8" mounting inset. Actual frame has a 4" width. The Filigree scroll pattern of this frame is very detailed, with the holes having been carved out by hand(there are visible tooling marks. At over a hundred years old there is plenty of genuine wear and character. But only lost gesso on one corner and an outer edge. No glass. Which i prefer as the Post has a habitual way of breaking things. All Vintage or Antique items are represented"as is" through age and use pieces may have acquired nicks, scratches, chips and cracks, which help to develop a preferred patina, but be aware that items are represented exactly, ... moreso make sure to carefully view the High def. images and ask any questions you may have. The class is convex/bubble glass and it is in damage free condition. The frame is solid and sturdy. It is made of wood. All the decorations on the front side of the frame are raised. Ornate and classic. The frame measures 25 inches top to bottom. 19 1/2 inches across and 1 3/4 inches thick. At the top of the frame Photo 12. There is a rough spot. Beautifully Shabby Antique Frame w Old Photo~1865~Rose Border Gold Gilt Wood
Beautiful Shabby Old Framed Photo PLEASE. Supersize the pictures by clicking on one of them for best visual details. They serve as a LARGE part of my description. Measures aprox. 28 inches~T x 24 1/4 inches~L. This shabby old picture. I almost had to keep for myself! The frame is old and is far from being in mint condition. The photo is old, marked on the back with different#s, one set of#s being"1865"~Which I believe is the year the photo was taken or made. It almost looks like the photo could have been done with pencil or charcoal, black and white and the photo itself is on really heavy card stock. I showed one picture of the back of the photo and it does have some damage in the corner's but these signs of wear is not visible to the eye when in the frame. One can tell the frame is made of wood, at least the outer and biggest ... morepart of the frame is wood. The wood frame has the markings, Sold by Chicago Portrait, 803, Also has other writting pertaining to the Chicago Co but can't quite make it all out, it was stamped in red ink while the#803 is in black ink. The frame is so beautiful. I love the floral border around the edge of the frame. Up close one can see all the scars this framed picture has suffered over the years. There are cracks in the wood, all around the frame. The are places the wood has either chipped or has just been worn down. I can tell the frame has been repainted in places,and possible repairs. Please supersize pictures as I don't want anyone to be disappointed if they did not notice the flaws and the pictures serve as a large part of my description. The gold part, outer matte, that you see directly around the children is not made of the same material as the wood frame. Also this matte has cracks in each corner. I think this middle gold part may be plaster?~Iam not sure. Overall, a bit shabby, dirty and has it shares of flaws~But still remains a eyecatcher in spite! Adorable Children! Very unusual 2" wide all white gesso over wood shabby antique picture frame. Opening fits 8"x11" There is no traditional rabbet opening on the back. Instead there have been tiny brads that held the art in place(a few of them remain) There are areas of missing gesso that could be repaired. Or left as is for a romantic shabby look. The inner 1/2" of the frame looks like it had some kind of trim that was glued on but is no longer there. The bare wood shows through in much of this area. Antique Shabby Wood & Gold Gilt Floral Gesso 16 x 20 Picture Frame
This is a uniquely colored antique picture frame with two borders of elegant floral gesso leaves in a dark bronze color alternating with two ribbed borders in a metallic greenish gold. There are some pieces of gesso missing that have been touched up with matching paint and are not very obvious. The greenish gold borders have some dings. Scuffs, and scratches, many of which have been touched up with a gold color that doesn't quite match but is close. Most of the paint is darkened from age and there are some stains on it. The glass is a newer replacement piece and there is a new piece of cardboard and metal hanger on the back. This a fantastic shabby picture frame that is perfectly useable and would be a wonderful piece in which to display a vintage print or portrait. It holds a picture measuring 20" x 16" and can be hung horizontally ... moreas is(as shown in the photos) but the hanger can be moved or another could be added to hang the frame vertically. The outer dimensions are 30" x 26" I will pack it very well, double box it, and insure it during shipping.

Antique Barbola Pedestal Shabby Chic French Gorgeous Bows
I am selling this beautiful antique wicker barbola(not sure) pedestal. I have had this for quite some time and when I showed it to a local antique dealer. All they knew was that it was from the 20's he believed, and in very good shape, and most likely French or Italian. There are bows on every side with beautiful swags of cascading flowers, two bows have a piece missing and one of the shell feet had some restoration done, but other than that given its age, it is simply amazing! I recently painted it a soft white to give it that gorgeous shabby chic or French look, given that it is almost 100 years old it is very solid, and is in excellent shape. Antique Wood Frame With Gold Gesso. This antique frame most certainly has its share of issues. From missing gesso, flaked paint as well as the normal wear due to its age. However, I didn't have the heart to toss it out. I find the ornate design in the gesso to have a unique appeal all of it own, that has caught my eye, and hopefully yours! As you can see in the pics its in need of attention. Or perhaps if youre into shabby chic, the present condition will suit you fine: It features the original wood backboard which too features a few issues with a split in the one knot hole and a horizontal split. This wood typically is replaced with heavy weight cardboard or you can choose to glue the wood back together. Measurements are- Outside perimeter of frame measures approx. 17 and 3/4 by 13 inches. Antique Picture Wood Framed Floral Art Shabby Style Chic Copyright M & B
This is a very nice ~Old~ Antique Round Wooden Framed Floral Art Copyright by M& B. It is signed by M. Black. This is a nice frame with a Gold tone on the front and wood on the back. I am unsure whether or not this may have been painted at one time. Or if the frame was made this way. It does have a few scratch marks on the gold part of the frame. Please see pictures. There is a nice distinct scroll pattern surrounding the entire picture at intervals. The picture itself is a nice floral arrangement in varied colors. The back of the frame(paper part) is coming off a bit. But still intact. The glass is in great shape. Considering how old this is, it is in overall great shape. You are visibly able to see where it has the name M. Black on the front right of the picture and right under the base of the flower pot is has the copyright symbol ... moreand M& B. VERY CUTE OLD FRAME- SMALL. This is a great frame for a small piece of artwork. You can tell by how dark the wood is when you turn it over its got a lot of age to it. There are 3 corners that are not perfect so see photos for condition but a little touch up paint and you will barely notice or perhaps they can be fixed with some wood putty. Super cute if you need a piece framed. Its hard to find these little sizes. Its also got great detail to it with little flowers/carving all over it. 11.5 X 9.75" and takes a photo that is about 7x5. This is a Nice Antique Wood Picture Frame. Opening for picture is 17.75"x21.75" It is over 1" thick. Quite heavy and has a 1/4" depth(rabbet) It is solid. Gorgeous Antique 1800's Gold Guilt Gesso wood picture frame Shabby Patina
This Gorgeous Antique frame is the cream of my collection. With methods of construction. Id date this frame from 1860-1880. This frame is not a Gesso pattern laid over a wood frame. It is carved wood with a very light coat of Gesso used to accomplish a smooth pattern. It is a three piece design, the outside, border is one piece, the thick prominent center carved piece and the decorative inside, which is what you mount the picture in. All pieces were assembled using old steel nails. Like all quality frames this one is quite heavy. Mounting measurement is 20"x16" with a 5/8 ledge. At over a hundred years old there is plenty of genuine wear and character. But only lost gesso on one corner and an outer edge. No glass. All Vintage or Antique items are represented"as is" Through age and use, pieces may have acquired nicks, scratches, ... morechips and cracks, which help to develop a preferred patina. But be aware that items are represented exactly, so make sure to carefully view the High def. images and ask any questions you may have. There will never be any damage that hinders useability. I respect what an object has become and appreciate the rustic, true beauty which speaks for itself. I never attempt to ruin the patina with amateur restoration. I only brush out surface dust and dirt. Thanks for looking and helping to preserve History.
