Antique Italian Creche Wood and Paper Mache Gentleman figure
This Creche figure is 13 ½ inch tall man. Possibly a wise man, most likely circa the late 18th or early 19th century, has a wooden head, hands with plaster or paper mache, and lower legs with carved boots with one boot missing. The body is cloth with original metal trim. There is some wear on the clothing and a few worn spots on face and hands but in pretty good condition for it's age. Very neat piece with a heap of character. There also is a wire that is connected to the head, possibly for display purposes. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. This is an old Victorian 19th Century black paper mache Chinoiserie wall bracket shelf with Oriental figures from estate. It is 14 1/3" by 9 3/4" and once was a folding shelf but somebody has glued it in the open position. It is in overall nice condition but does have a grain of rice chip to the flat shelf on the front center. See me pointing in photo 10. This is very minor and not note worthy. The back side has a small nick to the black laquer on the top right edge by the hanging hole. Also not very note worthy. The figures on the lower section have some wear with minor crazing. See photo. Offering for your consideration an antique Victorain velvet box in the form of a little book. The book is toatally covered in velvet. On the front there is a paper diecut of a hand which is holding a bouquet and a note which states. The business of my life shall be Forever to remember thee" The little book opens to reveal another paper diecut of a little girl hugging her black lab dog. There is gold paper on the interior edges. The box measures approximately 3" by 2 1/2" by 1 1/8" deep. It is in excellent condition overall save for a tiny piece of the paper diecut which is missing on the front where the top corner of the poem's note is. From a smoke free home. Antique Vintage Kodak No. 2 Trimming Board. I assume this was used to trim sheet film to fit film holder. Back is marked: No. 2 KODAK TRIMMING BOARD MANUFACTURED BY EASTMAN KODAK COMPANY ROCHESTER. N.Y. U.S.A. Wood part of trimmer measures 8 X 7 inches. Movable metal cutting blade is 11 1/4 inches long including handle. Board is clean and retains original finish. Please refer to pictures for details as they best describe the condition. Metal part have some light surface tarnish but no pitting. Cutting blade is still quite sharp and it cuts thin paper with ease. Nice addition to any Cameras/Photo& Vintage Movie& Photography or Antique Kodak Advertising Collection.

Antique Silver Owl Paper Weight/Figurine*Scrap value is $218.47 on 01-15-2014 Material: Silver(50% Acid tested(3 times by me/2 by a jewelry store) I tested it and it was 50% The jewelry shop told me it tested 50% but could be a little higher(60%70% I am starting the bidding at scrap for 50% since I know its at least 50% Subject Matter: Owl Design(seems to be a smooth surface with carved details. Hollowed out(Probably cast silver then the metal smith polished and carved on top of it) Company: I have seen a ton of brass and bronze Owls with similar designs from the Leonard Silver Company. But there were no markings on this piece. There was a glued on piece of felt on the bottom, but I removed it to get an accurate acid test. I did file down the patina on the bottom to expose the true inner metal. The bottom was rough anyways. I actually helped ... moreit sit flush) Purpose: Paper Weight or aesthetic decor figurine or scrap silver Weight: 674.8 Grams at 50% silver content = $218.36 scrap value as of today. The subject of this handsome diorama is a bearded hunter who is setting out with his rifle slung across his back. He is dressed in pantaloons and wears a vibrant red shirt. A grey jacket and a sporty green hat. Two wax bushes frame him on either side in the forefront. There is a wonderful and profuse arrangement of brilliant gold paper flowers and leaves. Unusual Antique Hand Painted Paper Mache Two Tier Dessert Tidbit Serving Tray
This is a charming and unusual early paper mache serving tray with hand painted flowers and gold filigree designs all the way around. The stem and handle are aged brass and it is stamped"Made in Japan" on the bottom. The designs in gold are shiny metallic. Most of the top surface of both trays is blue, and the middle each tray is black. The edge of each tray is ruffled and molded to hold desserts or other small items all the way around. In the recessed areas are alternating flowers and gold filigree designs. As you can see in the photos, the paint is damaged in many areas from age and use, some of the paint is worn away on the edges, but most of the flowers are still somewhat visible, and the gold looks beautiful. There are absolutely no cracks or broken areas, and the trays are still sturdy and held firmly in place. There is a ... moreburn mark on the bottom and one of the three feet on the bottom is charred, but it still stands up nicely and you can't see the damage unless the tray is turned upside down. The tray stands about 11" high including the handle, the top tray measures 9" across, and the bottom tray measures about 11 1/2" across.

The tray is made of paper mache and the center is painted with an oil painting that is titled Warwick Castle. Warwick castle is depicted in the background with a water scene that has a house on the bank and 2 people fishing in a small boat. Antique old vintage Victorian glove box paper papier mache floral flowers décor Offered here is a nice antique Victorian glove box. It is a gold patina color with painted floral decorations. There is obvious wear from age and use. See photos. It is made from papier mache and measures about 18" x 4.5" x 3.25" There is a holed Danmark 5 Ore coin attached to the cord that appears to have been added later. Marked Germany candy box container measuring 4 inches tall, 4-1/4 inches long by 2-3/4 inches deep. The box is made out of green and pink and silver foil over cardboard. The top of the box has a small wood building with litho paper roof and green wooden fence. There is a baby duck or chick in the fenced closure that is painted yellow, red and gray. Antique Victorian Paper Hand Fan with Leather and Silk Duvelleroy Box
Beautiful paper fan with vivid. Beautiful colors with golden edges and accents. There is a small crack in the fan on one end which had been hand mended with a threaded stitch. The fan is not marked, however, it came with a fan box marked Duvelleroy 17 Passage Panoramas 35 Boul Des Capucines. Box is maroon leather on the outside and maroon silk lined. Box is 11 1/2 inches long and weighs 5 ounces. I will pay standard shipping charges. Outside of box is marked F.A.S. 1895. The box may very well be worth more than the fan, though the fan is lovely. Duvelleroy was at this location in 1895, so I think the engraving is accurate. As with all antiques, there is some natural wear which I tried to show in the pictures. Thank you for looking!

Antique 19th C Pennsylvania Dutch German Blessing Folk Art Paper Punch stitch
Up for auction is an antique 19th C Pennsylvania Dutch style folk art German blessing paper punch hand cross stitch embroidery in a late Victorian oak frame recently found at auction in the Lancaster County PA area. It measures 11 x 15" in a 1.5" frame making it overall 17 x 21" approx. There is glass but it does not have bubbles. There is a nail missing on the back but it could use a sturdier backing to keep it tighter. The back has the typed translation and an added note. A very nice piece which is worth adding a little reinforcement on the backing. Best of luck in bidding.

BB" monogram. Eanch blade ha s either flowers or bow and arrow. The fan has center scene has young lady romping in the grass with her fellows lying down. The backside has a painted design. It is signed"Yvielie Guitlen" Possibly french made Approx 11 3/4" long blades. 20 1/2" wide when opened. Good-antique condition. 1 blade needs to be glued back into the paper of the fan. There is tears and holes in the paper- see pic. There are some losses in the inlay. This fan would be worth fixing. More fans from this collection on ebay. I will combine to save on shipping. Enjoy.

Aunteri's Rare Finds Hand Decorated Paper Wood Macrame Antique Hand Fan Filled w/Decals Early 1900's. Very unique souvenir of travels. Schools, friends and life has a hand painted"river" with the names and dates of people on one side, but both sides of the paper fan are absolutely filled with tiny decals/stickers of dozens and dozens of schools, sites and monograms. The ribs are wooden, and the end pieces are held together with simple macrame, with a lovely loop and tassel at the bottom. Only one section on the paper fan seems to have lost some of the painstakingly assembled mementos. Most of the dates I found were from 1903 to 1909. There are some tears in the paper at some of the folds, and the paper has yellowed, but the fan has held together remarkably well for its age and the journeys it must have made.
